about LEI, "LENR Industry" there is this description
QuoteDisplay More
LENR-Cities LEI (internal project name) manages industrial programs. Programs are created or expanded as part of our joint work with industrialists.
Goal is to create a win-win with industrialists by aligning and positioning their plans with state of art and coming technologies, and then to support pre-industrialization activities.
Ecosystem’s actors meet with companies and experienced entrepreneurs which routes them to LEI. LEI explores in depth with them LENR challenges and opportunities in their markets.
With LEI, the industrialist is able to scope challenges and opportunities and submit a proposal to LENR-Cities.
LENR-Cities matches programs with ecosystem capabilities including Scientific Know-how and expertise.
If ecosystem and industrialists agree on joint added value, then LENR-Cities starts or expand a program supported by the ecosystem.
Risk with Disruptive technologies becomes a great opportunity, working with world-renowned scientists having a focus on disruptive technologies, where each industrialists joining is expanding the market opportunity to foster and support technologies development and accelerate their industrialization.
LEI is not a company, but a project, like is the "reference Lab".
It is there to propose an "interface" for the ecosystem toward industrialists...
Like for the reference lab, a newcomer don't talk to individual researchers, or companies, but to such an entity who represent the ecosystem, and know your language.
On the other side, the members of the ecosystems are not alone to talk to the industrialists, and the LEI is an interface too. Like the reference lab propose "research program", LEI propose "industrial programs".
The model is interesting, and remind me the principle of urbanization of IT System. LENR-Cities looks like a communication bus for technology, funding, industrial projects, ...
Dear gentlemen,
Let’s have a look at Italy and LENR events:
1. February 2015 - Italy - an event " for industrialists "
2. April 2015 – Italy – an ICCF-19 event.
Probably it looks like that soon they are going to announce this is Italy to be number One in the world for LENR and these are Italians to be first to start with cold fusion / LENR technologies. But as we know, mainly any technology is based on the registered patent. And from this point of view, let me say, some persons have hold full-fledged and technically grounded LENR patent, which was registered by European Patent Organization EPO in 2009 and is valid in Europe. Please visit EPO site for this:
https://register.epo.org/espacenet/regviewer?AP=02751927&CY=EP&LG=en&DB=REG
So, we can consider a whole situation in the field of LENR from this point of view as well. Nowadays everyone is speaking about Mr. Rossi and his E – Cat. Firstly Mr. Rossi is really worthy of great praise, we are absolutely sure about it. But what about patents of Mr. Rossi and Europe? We do respect Mr. Rossi, he is an Italian, and Italy is a part of Europe. So, it is very natural the patents to be registered firstly in Europe, isn’t it?. Have anyone seen it? ( Please do not mention the Italian patent - 2011, it has not any technical expertise and is not confirmed ) Could anyone give any ideas?
GEM Lab.

Interesting patent.
I did not study it enough, but it seems based on similar ideas as E-cat.
What is the history of that patent ? is it based on the work of well known scientists ? (Russian?)
the description is more easy to read on google patents

Thank you for your question. About patent history and scientific part of the project. Yes, this cold fusion / LENR patent has made it’s appearance from Russia ( smile :).
This is Dr. Kirkinski ( with some other persons ).Dr. Kirkinski is a professional scientist in the field of cold fusion and LENR . Why so?
1. - Here are Dr. Kirkinski’ publications in Europhysics Letters Academic journal , since 1999:

2. - Here is Dr. Kirkinski’ participation at ICCF international conferences for cold fusion, since 2002, in China and France:

3. - Here is Dr. Kirkinski’ another patent for cold fusion / LENR. This patent is given by The Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) in 2006:
This is about the history of the patent in brief. But anyone is welcome to ask any questions. And please let me ask my question again. This is the same question and this is about my curiosity ( smile . What kind of other cold fusion / LENR patents are registered in Europe? And when? Any ideas?
MARRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR
What I understood from quickly reading the patent is that it is based on palladium powder, gas permeation, high temperature.
beside the usage of nickel vs palladium, is there reasonable chance that E-cat infringe that patent ?
Can the two technology live together without patent conflict?
can you describe in few sentence how would look and work a reactor based on that patent ? is ther more than heat, powder and gas permeation (the patent is hard to read, it seems more complex)?
are there prototypes, third party tests,.
Is Gem Lab preparing to develop technology around that patent ?
If you are interested, I have e-mail Kirkinskii V.A., he is alive and healthy. It is necessary?
that is an idea (let us discuss by mail)
note that Europhysics Letters is a peer reviewed journal
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPL_(journal)
Krikinskii is active both in theory and experiments.
NET publish an article from 2002 about a model of cold fusion

Jed published among other Calculations Of Nuclear Reactions Probability In A Crystal Lattice Of Titanium Deuteride from ICCF

...
About experiments I fall on that article

which remind me some pictures of the patent
looking for information on Kirkinskii, I fall on that review of Russian work in LENR

very interesting.
