Guido Parchi of Prometeon in Oxford LENRG Conference

    • Official Post

I could not catch if Prometeon was already in LENRG, but Guido Parchi seems interested
It is already a big news. Prometeon try to bounce after their license get bought-back by Rossi, and there is hope they join or have joined LENRG. Big question to ask...

At the end he explains that LENR will have application not only about energy but in many other domains.

There is a transcription of the interview on cobraf, that I translated by google

E-cat world publish an article with an answer from Guido Parchi & Aldo Proia

    The article is very interesting.
After having their license bought back, Prometeon started a research program with Stremmenos.

    Quote

In 2014, after being for two years the E-Cat® licensee in Italy, a challenging research project has started under the scientific guidance of Prof. Christos Stremmenos (former Professor in Chemistry-Physics at the University of Bologna). He started making experiments on the LENR about 25 years ago and he is probably the first academic who came up with the idea of using hydrogen loaded Nickel nano-powders in a “dry reactor”, instead of the Fleischman & Pons electrolytic cell (he published his experience on # 81 of the magazine “La Chimica e l’Industria“ – Italian Chemical Society – April 1999).

What is really a great news is that they claim that their results seems coherent with Edmund Storms ideas.

    Quote

We have already tested the first reactor and the results are very promising. At the very first test we found some new elements in the ashes undoubtedly resulting from transmutation processes; their atomic numbers are in accordance with Storms’s theories

It is time to read "the explanations of LENR"...

Very interesting too is that they work on hypothesis about triggering and control... If it works, it is a second revolution.
The revenge of the Greek, allied with the Italian.

    Quote

The scientific team has developed new advanced and challenging hypothesis about how to activate the LENR, control the reactions and avoid runaway phenomena that could cause the melting of the device and/or of the reacting cell; we are now realizing two new different reactors to check the theoretical assumptions.

  • I started experimenting with nanoscale fusion 30 years ago. I've been ignored for ~30 years since discussing my laboratory results concerning the initiation of hydrogen fusion in a NiO reactor and witnessing meltdown of the reactor. Application of the term nanoscale is so appropriate because the reaction depends on nanoscale spacing. If the NiO reactor charge contains the correct microscale fineness relative to the NiO powder then fusion initiates with 100% certainty.

If "chopped liver" were sentient I realize what the feeling must be after having been ignored all this time. Wonder "why" what's behind the sudden interest in free energy?

I tried to answer this earlier and got whacked by the bandwidth issue here in the US.

    The sudden interest:

    1. Global warming issues
    2. Energy security issues (that is many nations and individuals desire energy independence)
    3. Fueling space exploration with energy densities thousands of times greater than ordinary chemical reactions
