There is cold nuclear fusion in the earth's crust and it must be found. This will be the structure of the planet Earth. If we find this process in the earth's crust, we will get new energy. I tell you all that there is no other way, we need to make a model of the planet and we will get new energy for the entire cosmos, we will be able to manage it and make good intentions!!!

National Aeronautics and Space Administration, John H. Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Road, M.S. 302-1, Cleveland, OH 44135, United States

    Received 2 October 2020, Revised 14 January 2021, Accepted 15 January 2021, Available online 19 January 2021.

    Abstract

Co-deposition electrochemical cells are a simple means to examine novel nuclear reactions. In this study, palladium and deuterium atoms were co-deposited on a cathode at stoichiometric densities, forming dendritic morphologies. Bubble detector neutron dosimeters were used to measure equivalent dose levels during electrolytic deposition. Cells expected to produce excess neutrons were denoted as experimental cells and contained an electrolyte consisting of palladium(II) chloride, lithium chloride, and heavy water. The control cells used copper(II) chloride, lithium chloride, and heavy water electrolyte. Thirteen experimental and nine control cells were supplied current, increasing from 0.1 to 100.0 mA over a period of 20 days. Neutron radiation levels detected near experimental cells were, on average, greater than those measured near control cells for the entire test profile. For test days 9 through 20, the experimental cells exhibited significantly higher average neutron radiation than the controls at a 99% confidence level.

  • Advanced CMNS LENR energy technologies are emergent along many fronts. I'm sure Elon Musk is aware of this fact and follows NASA/GEC and Munday Labs/Google Inc. closely. I'm fairly certain Jeff Bezos does as well. Rapid transition requires capital. Rapid transition reaps immense profits/rewards and, more importantly, access to the vast territories and resources found in our immediate solar system; permanent self sufficient human space habitation.

Rapid transition (10 years) to advanced CMNS LENR energy technologies will be spearheaded by groups such as this 'Mission Impossible Partnership'.

"Global Coalition Formed to Drive Net-Zero Shift in Hard-to-Decarbonise Transport and Industrial Sectors" 27JANUARY2021 Terence Creamer - Creamer Media

    https://www.engineeringnews.co…rs-2021-01-27/rep_id:4136

    Quote

A new global partnership has been formally launched in an effort to accelerate the decarbonisation of seven heavy industrial and transport sectors that together represent 30% of global greenhouse-gas emissions and where carbon-abatement pathways have yet to be defined.

Known as the ‘Mission Possible Partnership’ it will focus specifically on the transportation sectors of aviation, shipping and trucking, as well as the aluminium, cement, chemicals and steel industries.

    ALSO

The initiative is backed by funding from the Bezos Earth Fund, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and Breakthrough Energy and builds on the Mission Possible Platform launched at the United Nations Secretary General’s Climate Action Summit in 2019.

It is run by the WEF, the Energy Transitions Commission, Rocky Mountain Institute and the We Mean Business coalition.

    ALSO

In late 2021, the partnership will aim to showcase net-zero agreement breakthroughs in shipping, aviation and steel. Within three years, it plans to help companies complete climate-action agreements in these sectors as well as trucking, chemicals, cement and aluminium.

Within five years, the partnership aims for clear shifts in investment patterns across the seven sectors and will be pursuing net-zero climate action agreements in additional sectors, including potentially food and agriculture. - end quotes

  • LENR-CANR.org traffic has recovered from pandemic

Here is a graph of visits to LENR-CANR.org in 2020.

This is generated by the WebLog Expert program. Visits fell when the pandemic became serious in March, but then they recovered. I was pleased to see this, and a little surprised. The drop at the end of the year was caused by holidays. It recovered in January. Compared to previous years, many of the visits in 2020 were from residential ISPs, instead of corporate or university ISPs. I think this reflects people working from home.

Total downloads for 2020 was 143,913. That compares to 196,802 in 2019, and 186,173 in 2018. You can see the graphs of downloads here:

    https://lenr-canr.org/wordpress/?page_id=1213

The trendline shows there has been a slight increase in recent months. The total in January 2021 was 18,902, which is higher than any month last year. In January 2020 the effects of the pandemic were already apparent, and total downloads were 10,208. This page has a link to the spreadsheet of monthly downloads, which you can download and tweak yourself. The link is here:

A new paper not directly related to LENR, but mentions LENR research as support of the general ideas and research based on the concept of the water "Coherent domains" idea of J. Preparata.

The Effects of Interactions of the Extremely Low-Level Radiation with Quantum Coherent Nanosystems

    Abstract

The most typical features of a display of interaction of the nanostructures quantum coherent systems with the low-intensive external signals are analyzed. It is shown that the dynamics of a display of such interaction has cardinal differences from the similar phenomena in not coherent systems. The special attention is given to consideration of the reasons for the occurrence of Zhadin effect in a water solution of glutamic acid and in water structures of the biological organisms. From a position of the theory of water created by J. Preparata, water contains the areas of coherency in its composition—the coherent domains (CDs). The diluted solutions of glutamic acid can contain agglomerates (by analogy to the diluted homeopathist preparations) in which CDs can be located with the big density. At influencing a solution of super low-frequency and super low-intensive external magnetic field, there is a synchronous emission from the surface of CDs of the ions with impurity of a glutamic acid, originally rotated on the cyclotron orbits of CDs. It is shown that the narrow peak of an answer signal on the influence of the magnetic field, appearing in dependence of a current through a solution from the size of the applied field, can have a maximum of intensity in the square-law dependence on the amount of CDs in the separate agglomerates. Such dependence is similar to what predicts the effect of Dicke for the radiating of identical atoms interacting among themselves, located in a region of a size of wavelength of radiation of the atoms.

Grant funding for SME's working on low-carbon energy. Overseas applicants are allowed but 50% of the cash must be spent in the UK. It is the usual bureaucratic nightmare - but it's 'free money' after all.

    https://assets.publishing.serv…5/eef-phase8-guidance.pdf

The scheme is also open to:
    • all SMEs (including Small and Micro Enterprises who do not qualify above)
    • other private sector organisations irrespective of size
    • collaborative proposals
    • ‘research organisations’ as defined below. It is expected that these will be part of a
collaborative proposal, preferably with a SME partner.
These applicant(s) to the scheme will be eligible to receive up to £1m for funding a project
under ‘Aid for research and development projects’. The maximum percentage of public funding
that can be provided for the project is summarised in Table 2 ‘Maximum public funding for
projects qualifying under ‘Aid for Research and Development’.

  • Maybe we can try to take how it's all done...

  • Physics Today does not allow references to peer-reviewed cold fusion literature

Here is an article in Physics Today: "Q&A: Harry Collins on acquiring and using scientific knowledge."

    https://physicstoday.scitation…63/PT.6.4.20210217a/full/

It says: "And to debunk cold fusion, it had to be agreed that [Stanley] Pons and [Martin] Fleischmann were not the right kind of scientists to be doing the work. In neither case was it enough, at the time, simply to say the results weren’t replicated, even though that is how we describe it in retrospect."

I posted the following response, which was removed.

Collins said: " And to debunk cold fusion, it had to be agreed that [Stanley] Pons and [Martin] Fleischmann were not the right kind of scientists to be doing the work."

Pons and Fleischmann were not debunked. Their results were replicated in over 180 major laboratories such as Los Alamos, China Lake, and BARC. These replications were published in mainstream, peer-reviewed journals by many distinguished scientists, such as the Chairman of the Indian Atomic Energy Commission. Many of the replications were at very high signal to noise ratios, for example, with excess heat ranging from 5 to 100 W, and tritium ranging from 50 to 10E16 times background. Helium has been measured in many labs at the same ratio to the heat as D-D plasma fusion. A review of the subject is here:

    https://lenr-canr.org/acrob...

A collection of papers is here:

    https://lenr-canr.org

Furthermore, Pons and Fleischmann were experts in electrochemistry and calorimetry, which are essential skills to reproduce cold fusion. Other experts confirmed other aspects of the results. The designer of the Los Alamos Tritium System Test Assembly and the Tokamak Fusion Tests Reactor tritium detector confirmed the tritium, as did the experts at BARC and elsewhere. The helium was confirmed in the three top U.S. helium detection laboratories, in blind tests.

An article in Tohoku360, what looks like a citizen local journal, about CleanPlanet

    https://tohoku360.com/cleanplanet/

    Translated by Google

The article is not very technical, presenting the motivation of the founder President Yoshino , Professor Iwamura, the context ...

I note the technically interesting section (translated)

Professor Iwamura and his colleagues named the energy generated from this condensed nuclear reaction "quantum hydrogen energy" and established a unique heat generation method. We have developed a small generator that occludes light hydrogen in nanoscale nickel and copper and stimulates it under certain conditions to cause a condensed nuclear reaction to generate electricity. A demonstration machine capable of generating 100 watts has already been completed, and a demonstration machine capable of generating 1 kilowatt is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. Representative Yoshino said, "The demo machine is one of the core models for scaling the business from now on. Based on this, we will make a model that can generate 100 kilowatts and 1 megawatt in the future to solve the world's energy problems. I want to solve it all at once. "

Generators using "quantum hydrogen energy" are currently being talked about with companies in all industries, such as installation in electric vehicles, building power supply equipment, and introduction as new energy in cities. Professor Iwamura said, "If you want to install it in a car, you need something that is resistant to vibration, and if you introduce it as a building power source, you need more power generation than size. We are in the starting stage for this. "

Recent (February 2021) Claim of replication of Ohsawa-Kushi type experiments, dubbed Metal Oxygen Fusion (MOXY), positive results based in the detection of X rays emission, and absense of it in controls. MetalOxygen Fusion: Experimental Confirmation of an Ohsawa-Kushi Transmutation and an Exploration of Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions.

    Kenneth N. Swartz

Abstract: There have been numerous low-energy nuclear reaction (LENR)experiments that produce results suggestive of nuclear fusion. These experiments stretch back from the early 1900sto the present.Significant excess amounts of heat are emitted from these reactionsgreater than their electrical and chemical energy inputs. Most of these LENRs, or new hydrogen energyexperiments, are based on electrolytic or electrical discharge plasma reactors. Results suggestive of fusion include the detection of gamma-and X-ray radiation; alpha, beta, neutron, and proton emissions; as well as helium-4. X-ray spectroscopic analysis of the metal electrodes used in LENR experiments has resulted in the discovery of new elements not originally present in the electrode metal. There are no currently accepted fusion synthesis pathways to account for the appearance of these new elements. Metaloxygen fusion (MOXY) can explain many LENR results. At the nanoscale level, MOXY is more characteristic of fusion occurring within the degenerate matter of stellar cores. As a process, MOXY can be classified as a form of hot fusion. MOXY can help explain the fusion synthesis and decay pathways observed in LENRs.The MOXY process appears to have a greater propensity to occur when using elements with greater atomic weight, as well as with heavier isotopes of elements. Significant reductions in heavy radioactive nucleotides are observed with MOXY fusion.
