Electric Fusion Systems Claims it has Cracked the Code for Practical Fusion, Describes its Fusion Reactor a “Monstrous Leap in Clean Energy Technology”
see: https://e-catworld.com/2021/06…-clean-energy-technology/
This is another research group exploring plasma/arc physics for fusion energy. I hope the process they found is simple. They are looking for millions to speed-up research and bringing their process to the market.

Neom launches the Line
https://www.neom.com/en-us/wha…242_T1&utm_content=energy
“I present to you THE LINE, a city of a million residents with a length of 170 km that preserves 95% of nature within NEOM, with zero cars, zero streets and zero carbon emissions.” His Royal Highness
Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Chairman of the NEOM Company Board of Directors
PRESS RELEASE
LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT
NO CARS
Communities built for people with a five-minute walk to live, work and play
MAX 20 MINUTE COMMUTE
Less travel time between communities
A CITY INTEGRATED WITH NATURE
Restoring our connection with nature to improve our health and well-being for a happier lifestyle.
WHAT IS THE LINE?
THE LINE is a never-before-seen approach to urbanization – a 170km-long linear urban development of multiple, hyper-connected communities, with walkable neighborhoods integrated with public parks and the natural landscape. It is a model of urban design and livability in harmony with nature for the 21st century and beyond.
THE LINE will reshape the traditional concept of urban life, enabling NEOM to become an economic engine for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the region, and the world.
THE LINE will create 380,000 new jobs, spur economic diversification and contribute SAR 180bn to domestic GDP by 2030.
Powered by 100% renewable energy, the principles of environmental responsibility will be enshrined in business regulations to promote sustainable and regenerative development practices.
All essential daily needs will be within a five-minute walk.
Communities will be built around people, not cars, easily accessible and designed for convenience and walkability, creating vistas of beauty and tranquility.
THE LINE is supported by a physical and digital infrastructure layer seamlessly integrated beneath the surface and containing essential utilities and transportation services.
The infrastructure spine will include ultra-high-speed mass transit access to the communities along THE LINE.
Communities will live in harmony with nature, where open space, parks, gardens, the natural environment and sustainable food production are mixed seamlessly.
All businesses and communities on THE LINE are hyper-connected through a digital framework incorporating Artificial Intelligence and robotics that continuously learn and grow – over 90% of the data in NEOM will be analyzed to provide a predictive system with ever-improving services to residents and businesses.
The communities will be self-sufficient and reflect the personality of their residents, the region and the industries within them.

Coherent Nuclear Transmutation LIVE Chat (with Bob Greenyer and friends)
Jun 6, 2021 09:30-23:30 CET
You can get the log in details from:
https://remoteview.substack.co…uclear-transmutation-live
There will be some discussion of the up and coming ICCF-22 that takes place next week on-line with free registration, and with luck, ‘wpgenligten 4Truth’ will share some of his work and Bob Greenyer will talk about a proposed new approach to supporting research in the field.
The chat is limited to the first 100 people.

A tried and true way to produce atomic H for welding, as it reforms as H2 on the substrate to be welded, releasing incredible heat, perhaps with some LENR assist? Thank you Irving Langmuir. Videos from almost 80 years ago!

A source of atomic hydrogen is indeed in potential an ingredient to cause LENRs.
In a normal atomic hydrogen welding setup these effects are likely to be ignored since a welding action on a piece of work lasts only minutes. Probably too short to cause sufficient hydrogen loading into the metals used. Temperatures are high enough to allow for increased adsorption though.
The use of hydrogen in welding could cause embrittlement effects in the welds.
This is why often embrittlement checks are performed.
Hydrogen embrittlement is not yet fully understood and subject to continued research.
It may be worth to investigate this effect with LENRs in mind.

AH welding has dropped out of favour since the 70's, replaced by TIG weling.. I found this comment on an engineering forum from somebody who has a machine.
"I have a Miller Model 100 HVAP Atomic Hydrogen Welder. It was built in 1973 and is one of the very last machines Miller built having stopped taking orders for delivery of such machines on 07-01-73. It has a Buds Atomic Torch head from Buds Welding in Ft. Worth Texas. I was first introduced to the process in 1973 when I worked for Colt Ind. Fairbanks Morse Co. as an Overhead Chain and Lifting Equipment Safety Inspector. When I was there through the 1970's, they had a General Electric Atomic Hydrogen Welder that we used to weld on all the lifting equipment. It was bought new by Fairbanks in ether 1953 or 55. That machine also had a Buds Torch head on it, and at the time Buds was the only place left to buy anything for these machines. That business is gone now and another welding supply house is on that location. One of the nice things about the AH process is that the hydrogen, when burning in the presence of the arc, converts to a plasma form creating not only the very high 3700 to 7500 F. temperature, but also forming an absolutely pure atmosphere around the arc welding area. When welding, every once in a while a little puddle of slag will form which will pop right to the surface and float there. If you stop and chip it out it's like a glass material, but if you kept welding it would float on top and no effort would allow it down into the weld. Even after working a piece with the slag remaining on it, the x-rays of the work were always perfect. The machine Fairbanks had and the machine I have are the only ones I have ever seen."

I had TIG welded SS 304 tubes at their end by a professional.
These tubes also contained lithium and powders, they heated up to 1000 °, the welding held without any problem.
Of course, you have to be able to put money in for this reliable result ... These are not just vulgar nuts and bolts ... As a general rule the more money you put the less artefacts you will have . For example I know a lot of facility fans who use Thermoguss, we must avoid that, even if it means making machined and TIG welded parts.

True!
But still an interesting method to have in mind when it comes to some LENR effects.
I've mentioned it a few times at LF in the last few years. So it's good Mark U keeps it alive.

Effort in arguments in blogs are per se near useless - but blogs have readers and REAL papers and peculiar patents are nice to share.
For example, cold fusion bullet patent suggests a link with both Soviet deuteraded ice shots and the not well-know palladium deuteride implosions at LA. Old stuff is fun. AR is very fun.
Allow me to suggest ICCF meetings every ten years or more - asymptotically more perhaps. Three ICCF sessions from 1989 to 2019 would have been enough. At large.
Anyway, thank you.

Yes, Ahlfors , ICCF and other meetings are only meetings of formers so that they meet among formers and to talk about old things that is all. You can see clearly for example concerning this last ICCF the foam is quickly settled.
AR is very fun ? Well he remains a strange guy however we can consider his work relevant because Focardi "launched"him.. Then he received a strong technical help from clever swedish.
About H mono as i said, we have to take care because the need of excited state is important coupled with a lattice "temporaly" at lower state. A kind of PN junction as i said earlier with a temporaly depletion area as also being suggested by the Airbus patent for example.
But hey, the recent trendy toys have been the Mizuno R20 scratching then the LEC new nobel prize.

Very fun = intriguing. No cold fusion, alas ...
