    About this event

NUCLEAR NOW, Oliver Stone's new documentary film provides a visually stunning and clear portrayal of the importance of Nuclear energy in our battle against climate change. An array of advanced technologies will be required to fully decarbonize energy and reduce emissions. We will discuss the film, your reactions and answer the questions you have, as well as talk about things you can do to support nuclear power going forward.

  • Views on Cold Fusion - 1994 vs 2023 March 2023 Akito Takahashi

    https://www.researchgate.net/publication/369118530_Views_on_Cold_Fusion_at_1994_vs_2023

    Abstract.

In the record of a lecture on cold fusion given at the Osaka Patent Attorneys Association in 1994 (Patent magazine, Vol. 47, No.4, 1994), what I foresaw about 30 years ago was as follows. In response to Fleischmann-Pons' announcement of "abnormal heat generation due to an unknown nuclear fusion reaction" in the heavy water palladium electrode electrolysis method, the overwhelming opinion of the scientific community is the possibility of the most likely double deuterium nuclear fusion reaction. Even if I thought about it, it was something that I denied as very unlikely. However, in my opinion, (1) the steady-state D-D fusion rate between deuterium taken into palladium solids is so low that it does not react even once a year, and it is unlikely that it will lead to heat generation. (2) Is there a possibility of a “new hydrogen nuclear fusion” in which many-body nuclear fusion (3D, 4D reactions) is greatly promoted under dynamic and transient conditions of order and constraint within a metallic solid? Isn't it? If that happens, He-4 becomes the ash of the reaction, and it is possible to have a clean nuclear reaction energy as useful thermal energy in which radiation such as neutrons and gamma rays is negligible. If so, a paradigm shift in energy generation technology could occur. After that, NEDO's new hydrogen energy (NHE) project in 1994-1997, we have implemented the NEDO's MHE (nano-Metal Hydrogen Energy) project in 2015-2017 and, the MHE R&D research project by Kobe MHE group in 2018-2023. This research has been so continued. As a result, it became possible to generate anomalous heat generation with almost 100% reproducibility under the condition of increasing the temperature of nickel-core nano-metal composite and hydrogen gas. Anomalous heat generation occurs not only in deuterium (D) gas but also in protium (H) gas with a similar calorific value. Radiation is negligible. Since the experimental results as predicted by the TSC theory were obtained as strong supporting evidence, the reaction mechanism is the CCF (condensed cluster fusion) that occurs in the transient condensing process of hydrogen clusters such as 4D/TSC Fusion and 4H/TSC WS Fusion. (Condensed Cluster Fusion) is considered to be the background physics of new hydrogen fusion...,(continues.

  • One of the few LENR related research efforts in Germany..

Not afraid of the reputation trap..

    D.Seeliger T Stiegler Dresden

    https://www.researchgate.net/publication/360777938_Experimentelle_Untersuchungen_zur_Freisetzung_von_Warme_bei_Kavitationsprozessen_in_wassrigen_Medien_-Teil_VII_Verstarkung_durch_Elektrolyse

Experimental Studies of Heat Emission during Cavitation Processes in Aquatic

Liquids - Part VII: Enhancement by Electrolysis

    "

The results of two experimental series from the years 2017 and 2018 are presented and the

influence of heat losses in the power electronics on the results of analyses has been discussed, in

    particular (Sections 4 and 5).

Using a new product of power electronics the heat losses have been reduced essentially, leading to

a significantly increased reliability of results on heat emission obtained. Repetition experiments as

carried out so far confirm, that the combination of cavitation with low electrolytic current may

increase both COP and efficiency E (Section 6).

  • These were published a good while ago (we discussed them in october 2021 already) and then they were made unavailable, good to see them available again. May be wise to dowload them this time.

I certainly Hope to see LENR helping humans to blossom, and I'm here to help it happen.

  • Uranium Market Update

Bank Of America Sees Uranium Price Surge: Analysts at Bank of America estimated that the price of uranium would hit $75/lb by the third quarter of 2024, up from around $53-$54/lb today. In a report BoA said both uranium and nuclear power have a role to play in solving the problems of decarbonisation and energy security. BoA mining analyst Michael Widmer said 60 new reactors are under construction and 100 more approved, and uranium supply will lag demand. Widmer said subsequent shortages will push the uranium price higher by between 20% and 40% in the “relatively near future”. China's drive to increase its nuclear power capacity is a key element of BoA’s optimistic outlook with the bank saying Beijing is looking to build 150 new reactors by 2035 Another factor has been Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which underscored European nations’ dependence on Russian natural gas and increased the need for national energy security.

Discussed here RE: NASA’s updated Lattice Assisted Nuclear Fusion revamped site (Have Fleischmann and Pons been finally vindicated?)

  • Zoom meeting held yesterday by Bob Greenyer reflecting on the EGO OUT effect (coined by the late Peter Gluck) on how much knowledge is lost when one researcher is lost to our field. Very emotive, I was surprized to see Steve Bannister joined the session and among many other interesting things he comments he is doing, discussed his visit to Fleischmann and Pons laboratory.

THHuxleynew , I know your absolute dread for watching LENR videos, but in the segment in which Bob talks with Steve Bannister, the transmutation of elements and at some point the ULTR experiment are discussed.
