David, when you heat something with a resistance heater you cannot change the temperature quickly by pulsing the power, the thermal inertia is to high.
And the magnetic fields generated by an electric heater are negligible and can have no essential influence on the processes in the reaction chamber.
Good examples of this are the Lugano experiment and the attempts to replicate it.
