CIAM took part in the V International Conference Space Propulsion
May 12, AEX.ru - At the beginning of May 2016 in Rome (Italy) was hosted the 5th international conference «Space Propulsion» (Space Propulsion).
The representative scientific event was attended by Chief Scientific Officer of Aviation Motors Central Institute. PI Baranov (CIAM) Mikhail Y. Ivanov, reported the Press Service of CIAM. The conference CIAM scientist spoke on "The theory of low-energy nuclear reactions (NEYAR - LENR) and their application in aerospace propulsion" (authors: MY Ivanov, The .K. Mamaev). LENR system - a kind of nuclear energy potentially 4000 times more than the energy density of chemical energy.
In total, the conference were presented more than 400 reports of the representatives of the world's leading research center for aerospace and industrial companies: NASA, DLR, ASI, EADS ASTRIUM, SAFRAN, MOOG, AMPAC ISP, ALTA Space, ECAPS and Nanospace , etc. The presentations of scientists and experts. covered a wide range of issues of theory and practice of aerospace engines for medium- and long-term European space exploration projects, for example, for flights to the Moon and Mars.
CIAM has a broad spectrum of competencies in the field of aerospace engines research "scientist CIAM report aroused keen interest of participants.. Scientists Institute for nearly 60 years successfully used the methodological experience in creating high-tech components of aircraft engines in the most significant projects of space exploration. Among them we can mention the participation in the creation of the carrier rocket "Vostok", the powerful liquid-jet rocket engines (LRE) to superheavy rocket R-1 (moon project), LRE closed circuit (used to "Proton") engines for reusable system "Energia" - "Buran", developing the concept of the reusable space transportation systems, etc. ", -. told the CIAM.

Space Propulsion 2014, organized by the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France in close collaboration with ESA and CNES, has proven to be a great and growing success.
This achievement was possible thanks to the participation of a large number of top-ranking delegates from the international space sectors (Head of Agencies, Space Operators, Industry CEOs), to European and International Agencies and Industry support (NASA, DLR, ASI, EADS ASTRIUM, SAFRAN, MOOG, AMPAC ISP, ALTA Space, ECAPS and Nanospace) and to a great number of high quality papers presented throughout the event.
The Space Propulsion Conference is now recognized to be the “forum” supporting the preparation of future activities and roadmaps in all the fields of space propulsion. The 5th edition of this International Conference is planned from 2nd to 6th May 2016 in Rome (Italy) and the programme of the event is being organized in such a way as to highlight programmatic and technical issues and to promote exchange of views and information in the two main areas of propulsion for spacecraft and for space transportation.
CIAM Website is

and they have an article on the subject :

which is the one published in Aviation Explorer.
Does anybody have more information on those conference and the Russian presentation on LENR/
It would be nice to find article or even abstract...
Edit: I just found the number and short description of the session in the program... not much, but may help someone to look for abstract ?
