A MHD aerial vehicle was proposed in the late 1970s, and I have been told that the USAF worked on the idea even in the late 1950s. In 2004 an academic named Subrata Roy attempted to patent the concept for aerial drones. It would be also silent.

Rossi has apparently started his "Plan B" ... an SKLep mini driving a headlight, stated to be for 10,000 hours.
There's a short intro video atExternal Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Setup:
Mains
DC Power supply with V,A.W readouts
v= 10.0
A varies between 0.000 and 0,001 (which Rossi says is for 1/10 every 3 secs)W = 0.0 (ie too small to show)
Two wires into an assembly of an SKlep (covered) and a headlight (540g total)
(He shows the headlight model, but I can't read it, so I don't know what kind of bulb it uses, or the nominal watts.
Unfortunately the live stream has apparently been deleted by youtube as "potential spam".External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. They should have an identical setup feeding the same model headlamp directly.

The info was in the ECW Youtube Description
This is a "backstage" walkthrough of the Ecat MiniSKLep setup that is being used in the livestream of the Ecat that started on September 30, 2022.
The Ecat MiniSKLep has been attached to the back of a LED headlight. The Ecat is attached to a power supply, which is plugged into mains source (220 V)
The livestream can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/PETFx45WN3Q
Model of power supply:
ToAuto NPS3010W
30V 6A/10A DC Power Supply Lab Variable Adjustable regulated DC Bench SwitchingModel of light used:
COBO Spa 05.685-12VBest match I can find is
https://www.cobofrance.com/pdf/headlamps-1.pdf
which shows 12V 55WEDIT: This is the light power, not electrical power, so unknown
I downloaded the video and single-stepped a few cycles of the Amp reading.
Over 6 secs it averaged 0.008 W
If the setup and my calculations are true, that's aCOP of 55/0.009 = 7227
I think this warrants a thread. (But I'm busy for a few hours) -

Let’s not rush things, please, we strongly recommend keeping all matters related to il dottore out of sight, in this thread, until third party and independent replications warrant a re ignition of the interest.

Now there is an even more specific message on the YouTube link.
"This video has been removed for violating YouTube's policy on spam, deceptive practices, and scams
Learn more"I think Rossi should sue the pants off YouTube, because surely with a COP 7000 like this, he would have no problem proving it works, right?
Right?
Can't he?
Certainly he would right?
But the world depends on this!
I expect an immediate press release of the lawsuit from Ross's lawyers.
Rossi will now have plenty of money for development.

It's a very simple set-up. Frank brought his own power supply straight from the store, and connected two wires. All clearly visible, no twisty turns.
I would have liked to see an RMS voltmeter across the inputs to the lamp. Even better: AND an ammeter in the output wire.
But of course it can't be true, so there MUST be an error. Rats chewed one of the wires in the power supply while it was on the shelves, so it reads amps wrong.

Is Frank doing the testing? I did not get that part, and if it's indeed him, he is a third party, and this is interesting. Anyway, as I said, let's not rush it,keep it here, and If we see something worthy of attention we will open a thread for it.

My spreadsheet is at
https://docs.google.com/spread…543782&rtpof=true&sd=trueOpen with google sheets.
I downloaded the intro video, and viewed it with Avedimux.
I found a clear shot of the voltmeter, and then stepped frame by frame recording the Time (minutes and seconds) and Amps whenever the ammeter changes.
For each step I calculate delta_seconds from the previous step to this step.
Watts for the step is (previous_amps * 10V)
Watt_seconds is Watts*delta_secondsI then sum the delta_seconds and watt_seconds
Average watts = sum_watt_seconds / sum_delta_seconds
Cop = rated_watts / average_watts -

Since YouTube kicked them out, can we host the livestream here on LF

Official ECW announcement :
Leonardo Corp. Streaming Year-long Ecat Test on YouTube
https://e-catworld.com/2022/09…ong-ecat-test-on-youtube/
I have been in the Leonardo lab with Andrea Rossi in Italy for the last couple of days, I have been here as an observer and a reporter, and I brought with me the power supply that is being used in the livestream. I made a short “backstage” video which shows the circuit setup for the livestream, which is below:This Live Stream is working:

Fake Method 1 :
It's a solid table (not glass), so there could be an embedded coil feeding a coil in the ecat base.I'll request that it be put on a glass support several inches above the table.
-
Or just put it over several layers of Aluminum foil.
Now that it's settled down I coded another 10 seconds and get a COP of 8605.
Now ... where to get an Italian headlight!???
(I have an analog supply). -

(I have an analog supply). If you get one of these SK contraptions for testing it yourself, be sure we will open a thread for that. Meanwhile, we will watch your fun exercise of evaluation of the scant information we are being offered in this thread.

I've started commenting on ECW (with requests for mo' data).
Plan B was INSTEAD of distribution, so I guess it will be quite a while before I get one. -

It has been pointed out to me on ECW that the 55W rating of the bulb is LIGHT power (tungsten equivalent?), not ELECTRICAL power, so the COP is unknown.
