  • I am wondering how waterproof the statistical data really is, this muddies the waters Damn lies and statistics

    It's all about muddy waters...

An excellent example of how the media distorts and skews data...Yesterday on the CBC (Censorship Bureau of Canada) they reported that 79% of hospitalizations in Canada are among the unvaccinated!!! Fuelling the fire of ire against the unvaccinated.

    If you go here:

    Canadian Stats

You will find that yes indeed there is a hospitalizations chart showing 78.8% hospitalization among unvaccinated individuals.

Reading the fine print you will find that this is cumulative data from Dec 14, 2020 when vaccines were first introduced, in other words at a time when everybody was unvaccinated at the peak of the second wave. Canada only reached the 50% vaccinated milestone in July of 2021 after the third wave. So that 79% number includes wave 2 and wave 3 when the majority of Canadians had not received the vaccine.

Detailed current information Canada wide is hard to find but if you look at Ontario:

    Ontario Data

You will find that 22% of those currently in hospital are unvaccinated ( Ontario Vax rate is about 83% )

44% currently in ICU are unvaccinated ( demonstrating that vaccination has some efficacy to protect against severe disease)

Oddly you will also find that the case rate (positive test per 100,000 people of the same vaccination status) in the vaccinated is about about 34% higher than the case rate for the unvaccinated (78.02/100000 vs 58.25/100000). Not sure what to make of this but the vaccinated are testing positive at a much higher rate than the unvaccinated. Perhaps it is because the vaccinated are free to move around with their passports and spread the disease and it is now well known that the vaccines do not prevent transmission or infection.

They are also finally admitting, at least in Ontario, that only 54% of those hospitalization numbers were admitted due to Covid, the rest were admitted for other reasons but happened to test positive for Covid. This essentially cuts all the number in half. This practice has been going on since the beginning of the pandemic and is only now being admitted and corrected. This means that the hospitalization and death data reported for the last 2 years is double what it really was.

  • Now there is lots of herd immunity to delta, and no herd immunity to omicron.

I believe there is some herd immunity to omicron with the vaccines. It is reduced.

The original vaccines, at 70%, would have given us quick herd immunity to COVID original, and at 80% herd immunity to alpha. Delta destroyed that.

Yes. If the original vaccines could have been deployed faster, to most of the world's population, omicron might not have emerged. It is a shame. I wish the first world countries had planned ahead more in 2020, and quickly manufactured more vaccine.

I think delta only weakened it, not "destroyed."

Perhaps if they deploy many more vaccines now, quickly, the combination of vaccine and acquired immunity will stop the pandemic. I don't know if that is possible.

    QUOTE Atlanta Journal:

Top U.S. infectious-disease expert Anthony S. Fauci on Wednesday reiterated the stark warning that the coronavirus will probably infect most Americans eventually, but added an important caveat: While “virtually everybody is going to wind up getting exposed and likely get infected,” he said, “if you’re vaccinated and if you’re boosted, the chances of you getting sick are very, very low.”

. . . Fauci said that unvaccinated people are 20 times likelier to die, 17 times likelier to be hospitalized and 10 times likelier to be infected than the vaccinated.

  • Most recent data from german ICU admission in the last weeks show still the majority are unvaccinated....(I expect our warrior from the swiss alps to declare this as fake news as usual)

"Between December 14, 2021, and January 12, 2022, vaccination status was available for 8,912 COVID-19 admissions, representing approximately 90 percent of cases referred during this period (9,946). Nearly two-thirds (62 percent, 5,521 cases) of all new COVID-19 admissions with known vaccination status were unvaccinated. About 9.6 percent (856 cases) had incomplete immune protection (recoveries without vaccination or partial immunization). More than a quarter of COVID-19 ITS admissions (28.4 percent, 2,535 cases) had complete immunization protection (basic immunization or booster), with the proportion with booster immunization being approximately 5.8 percent (520 cases).

Results will be published in the RKI's COVID-19 weekly report in the future, beginning January 21, 2022."

Although Merck went down what many critics, including this platform, called a twisted, curvy path to get Molnupiravir commercialized—including signed deals with multiple pharmaceutical producers in India—it’s looking bleak for the antiviral therapy’s prospects in India. Why? As TrialSite reported, India’s apex medical research organization called Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) declared that despite the approval of the drug by this nation’s drug regulatory body—the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI)—the top doctor for ICMR, Balram Bhargava recently stated publicly that his influential group had “major safety concerns” associated with molnupiravir. Now, the Times of India and several other media in the world’s second-most populous nation report that an ICRM national task force focused on COVID-19 will opt to not recommend the antiviral drug molnupiravir in their clinical management protocol for COVID-19. U.S. taxpayers subsidized this product, with $356 million to support research and $1.2 billion in guaranteed procurement contracts.

    Safety Concerns

Even though molnupiravir has been authorized for use on an emergency basis in the United States, Europe, and other countries, mounting safety concerns compelled this task force to reject the Merck drug.

As TrialSite recently reported, Dr. Balram Bhargava expressed serious concerns which apparently led to several meetings and a collective decision to reject use of the drug despite an extensive Merck deal made in that country.

Dr. Bhargava, noting serious safety risks, declared, “We have to remember that this drug has major safety concerns.” He went on record that the drug shows the potential to cause defects in fetal development, not to mention adversely impacting muscle tissue. He stated, “Contraception will have to be done in three months …If this drug is given.”

The ICMR task force apparently made this decision on Monday of this week with an official statement:

“Members of the national task for COVID were not in favor of including the drug in the national treatment guidelines, citing that it does not have much benefit in the treatment of coronavirus infection and that there were safety concerns.”

    Status Elsewhere?

By mid-November the European Medicines Agency first issued an advisory allowing select use of the antiviral drug in certain cases.

In America, an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) was issued by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on December 23, 2021. The decision was based on the results of the MOVe-OUT study indicating the drug could reduce hospitalization and death by 30%. TrialSite’s Dr. Ron Brown praised the company’s move to publish the study’s Absolute Risk Reduction (ARR) at 2.9%–ten-times lower than their reported Relative Risk Reduction (RRR).

TrialSite reported on Merck’s journey to commercialize this drug, securing $356 million in American taxpayer money as well as $1.2 billion in guaranteed procurement contracts from President Joe Biden’s executive branch. Along the way the company aligned with federal bureaucrats and the mainstream press to aggressively vilify ivermectin, a possible low-cost competitor—not approved for the COVID-19 indication, however

Only North Americans can be cheated that simple way. I did report this since day one of fake vaccines....

  • "Between December 14, 2021, and January 12, 2022, vaccination status was available for 8,912 COVID-19 admissions, representing approximately 90 percent of cases referred during this period (9,946). I do not comment on German data as it simply does not exist. It's a mess since day one...Switzerland is not much better and it is highly unlikely that, we see such a large difference. Just look at UK data and compare DE/CH. USA is 100% cheating data since day one. I rate Germany, France 90% cheating and Switzerland 60% cheating.

UK does not cheat the base data, but all explanations are highly cheating....

So we can only say:: UK data is totally opposite to most other countries data. But you must remember to divide the vaccinated data today by 3 to get the real "vaccine" only protection data.

  • Oddly you will also find that the case rate (positive test per 100,000 people of the same vaccination status) in the vaccinated is about about 34% higher than the case rate for the unvaccinated (78.02/100000 vs 58.25/100000). Perhaps it is because the vaccinated are free to move around with their passports and spread the disease and it is now well known that the vaccines do not prevent transmission or infection.

It this is over a period of time you can get temporal effects where the timing of vaccination and COVID rates (which change dramatically) correlates covid cases with vaccination.

This can happen anyway due to people deciding they need to get vaccinated as soon as the COVID rate goes high.

The statistics are thus often v complex to analyse - some good examples of the issues and how to deal with them (or not) here

Which is why the antivaxxer "quote raw statistics" approach does not work - unless you want to show something that does not actually exist - in which case it is pretty effective.

  • Here is the water heating data plot.

    .

You can see that the power output is constant with time after an initilail "conditioning" phase.

That means the energy out => COP can be arbitrarily large. Here is a system that never exhausts its fuel!

(sorry - I just got taken over by Rossi for a moment there. Anyone who contradicts what I say is a snake).

  • Once more for clowns:

Israel Boostered(37) are equally often severely ill as unvaxx(15) by Omicron. (even a tick more..)

But you will find dozens of graphics with rates that show that this reality is not real.... Just take more than a week and the effect goes away...

Real data counts! Not data-science $$$$$$ faked data...

The water started out just under 1 C above ambient because I was too lazy to take some out and add cooler water in order to match ambient. An experiment can always be improved. I would have done another using a glass cake pan instead of aluminum, but went away for work so maybe next month.

Seriously, is everyone either so competent that they worked this out on a napkin and already knew the result, or so incurious they couldn't bother to check it out? Over a month has gone by. Frank Acland has Rossi's power supply and the resistor since his visit before the actual release date and no one has even suggested that they stick the resistor in water and hook it to the power supply. And then folks write pages how every factor in the universe is needed to be included in a calculation to even try and model what the temperature rise might be. Its just a box in the air for proof of principle.

  • Please post that pic with google translate - or else say EXACTLY what it is and how it is set up. I will then be able to tell you why your conclusions are incorrect.

I've looked at lots of the seriously ill Israeli figures. they all have unvax rates much higher than vax.
