Taken with Vit D (1000 units) this could be a remedy for hair loss!

  • How do you know I was asking indignantly, as a matter of fact I was asking a simple question.

The nature of your question is indignant. And stupid. Anyone knows that the president has an obligation to give the nation the best advice available during a pandemic, and to take action against it. Presidents have been doing this since before we had presidents. Gen. Washington was the first to mandate vaccinations in the army in 1777.

The president is promoting a drug that just might increase the spread thru relapse.

Not according to the best experts in the Federal government. The president must listen to them, and follow their advice. It may be they are wrong, and the people you cite are right. I cannot judge. But the president must do what the Federal medical establishment recommends. He cannot follow advice from random doctors and bloggers on the internet.

Seems pretty stupid to me but he listens to the so called experts who must of simply forgotten to tell old joe it might have a problem.

Don't be absurd. Of course they tell him and his staff everything. They are not "so called" experts -- they are experts. That does not mean they are right. It is possible the experts you cite may not be right either. Has that thought crossed your mind?

bet sales have gone up since old joe promotion, and we just bought 6 million more doses payed for by the American tax payers.

Again, don't be absurd. Don't believe conspiracy theories. For that matter, all drugs cost money.

During the Delta variant-based surge in India TrialSite reported frequently on the use of ivermectin as an early care treatment (in combination with doxycycline, zinc, etc.), especially in select Indian states such as Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populated with approximately 220 million people. Public health agencies in this northern Indian state took a proactive approach sending waves of health team pairs into villages and towns across the state. The effort was so successful that TrialSite reported even the World Health Organization (WHO) touted the effort in a news release. While WHO shared that health workers were doing extensive home visits bringing medicine kits with them, the global health agency omitted that the kits included the ivermectin combination therapy called the “people’s therapy” in Bangladesh. TrialSite reported an incredible turnaround in cases verified by multiple data collecting organizations using this large-scale “prophylactic and therapeutic” use of an early care regimen that included ivermectin and the antibiotic targeting COVID-19. Now, officials are coming forward as the mainstream press has labeled the Uttar Pradesh effort as “misinformation” part of an information war led by states, industry, and global health agencies such as WHO. But citing data from outcomes such as from Agra, proponents of the Uttar Pradesh effort declare the public health initiative lowered fatalities as compared to other Indian states.

Health officials have gone public to declare the importance of the ivermectin-doxycycline-based regimen for prophylactic and early treatment during the Delta variant-driven surge. A local Northern India local news channel called Report Delhi recently covered interviews with The Indian Specific.

    Discovery in Agra

For example, Uttar Pradesh State Surveillance Officer Vikssendu Agrawal went on the record about Dr. Anshul Pareek and the effort in the city of Agra declaring, “Uttar Pradesh was the primary state within the nation to introduce large-scale prophylactic and therapeutic use of ivermectin.” Agrawal recounted that early on, Dr. Pareek administered ivermectin to local health staff members finding that “none of them developed COVID-19 regardless of being in day-by-day contact with suffers who had examined optimistic for the virus.”

Based on those findings in Agra, the state health authorities gave the greenlight to use the off-label combination of ivermectin as a prophylactic for all the contacts of COVID-19 sufferers (again, part of the intensive widespread public health outreach) and later, as reported in the media Report Delhi, “cleared the administration of therapeutics for the therapy of such sufferers.” TrialSite reached out to Agrawal for comment.

    Ivermectin Claims

Agrawal went on the record stating, “Regardless of being the state with the most important inhabitants base and an excessive inhabitant’s density, we have now maintained a comparatively low positivity price and instances per million of inhabitants.”

Agrawal associated the dramatic turnaround in SARS-CoV-2 infections (lower infection rates and decreased mortality) not only with aggressive contract tracing and surveillance but also to larger-scale use of ivermectin within Uttar Pradesh. As TrialSite reported and Agrawal recalled, ivermectin for a period in 2021 was on the Nationwide Protocol for COVID therapy.

Vikasendu declared to The India Specific, “As soon as the second wave subsides, we might conduct our personal research as there was rising physique of proof to substantiate our well times use of ivermectin from the primary wave itself.”

    Legal & Law Enforcement Backing

Prabhu N Singh, District Magistrate for Uttar Pradesh, also went on the record to back the notable effort in Northern India. Discussing the use of the antiparasitic as a prophylactic and proactive treatment in combination with doxycycline as part of a home health early treatment regimen the District Justice of the Peace declared to The Indian Specific, “We reported the primary Covid-19 cluster within the nation after 5 members of a household, who had returned from Italy, examined optimistic. Quickly, the virus unfolds, with numerous police personnel getting affected. Physician Pareek approached me with a request to introduce Ivermectin on an experimental foundation. I used to be informed there aren’t any dangers concerned with using the drug.” TrialSite has reached out to Singh for comment.

    The Regimen

Describing the organized pairs of health outreach teams that would crisscross this city (and many hundreds of other towns and villages) Singh shared, “We launched it (Ivermectin) for 3 days, 12 mg as suggested within the nationwide tips on the time, adopted by assessments on the fourth or fifth day.” Singh shared that they used the drug in the jails with positive outcomes helping to cut the COVID-19 infectious rate to a “fantastic extent.” The District Magistrate shared that consequently, Chief Secretary, Health Amit Mohan Prasad, organized a committee which led to the inclusion of ivermectin in the state COVID-19 administration protocol.

This is the title of the new medical research article:

Lost microbes of COVID-19: Bifidobacterium, Faecalibacterium depletion and decreased microbiome diversity associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection severity.

Here are key parts of the article:

Objective The study objective was to compare gut microbiome diversity and composition in SARS-CoV-2 PCR-positive patients whose symptoms ranged from asymptomatic to severe versus PCR-negative exposed controls.

Design Using a cross-sectional design, we performed shotgun next-generation sequencing on stool samples to evaluate gut microbiome composition and diversity in both patients with SARS-CoV-2 PCR-confirmed infections, which had presented to Ventura Clinical Trials for care from March 2020 through October 2021 and SARS-CoV-2 PCR-negative exposed controls. Patients were classified as being asymptomatic or having mild, moderate or severe symptoms based on National Institute of Health criteria. Exposed controls were individuals with prolonged or repeated close contact with patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection or their samples, for example, household members of patients or frontline healthcare workers. Microbiome diversity and composition were compared between patients and exposed controls at all taxonomic levels.

Results Compared with controls (n=20), severely symptomatic SARS-CoV-2-infected patients (n=28) had significantly less bacterial diversity (Shannon Index, p=0.0499; Simpson Index, p=0.0581), and positive patients overall had lower relative abundances of Bifidobacterium (p<0.0001), Faecalibacterium (p=0.0077) and Roseburium (p=0.0327), while having increased Bacteroides (p=0.0075). Interestingly, there was an inverse association between disease severity and abundance of the same bacteria.

Conclusion We hypothesise that low bacterial diversity and depletion of Bifidobacterium genera either before or after infection led to reduced proimmune function, thereby allowing SARS-CoV-2 infection to become symptomatic. This particular dysbiosis pattern may be a susceptibility marker for symptomatic severity from SARS-CoV-2 infection and may be amenable to preinfection, intrainfection or postinfection intervention.

    Summary box

What is already known about this subject?

The gut microbiome is intrinsically related to host immune response (eg, inflammation, Th1 vs Th2) and susceptibility to infection.

    What are the new findings?

Patients with SARS-CoV-2 infections possess significantly less bacterial diversity, lower abundance of Bifidobacterium and Faecalibacterium and increased abundance of Bacteroides at the genus level compared with SARS-CoV-2-exposed controls. There are inverse associations between disease severity and the Shannon and Simpson diversity indices and also with Bifidobacterium and Faecalibacterium abundance. There is also a direct association between severity and Bacteroides abundance.

How might it impact on clinical practice in the foreseeable future?

Boosting of Bifidobacterium or Faecalibacterium through probiotic supplementation or faecal microbiota transplant is worthy of exploration in the management of patients with acute severe disease or protracted infection. If the changes that we document precede SARS-CoV-2 infection in those who are most severely affected, this therapeutic approach may be of particular interest. Conversely, if the reduction follows infection, then repopulation of the gut microbiome may reduce long-term effects related to gut microbiome composition changes with SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Bottom line: Taking a broad range of probiotics can be part of a healthy lifestyle that improves immunity and defends against COVID. Gut bacteria may be a positive approach to long COVID problems

Study finds 67% of individuals with long COVID are developing dysautonomia
In a recent study posted to the medRxiv* preprint server, researchers analyzed the traits of autonomic symptom burden in long coronavirus disease (COVID).
    www.news-medical.net

    About the study

The primary purpose of the present study was to determine the incidence and severity of autonomic manifestations in patients with PASC. The authors also evaluated symptom burden in PASC using well-validated questionnaires, which pre-existing comorbidities were linked to a heightened likelihood of autonomic dysfunction, and if the acute COVID-19 severity was correlated with the severity of autonomic dysfunction in this group.

The team performed a global online survey of 2,314 PASC adult patients employing various validated questionnaires, including the composite autonomic symptom score-31 (COMPASS-31), to assess for autonomic dysfunction. Both subjects who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, i.e., test-confirmed, and those diagnosed with COVID-19 based only on clinical symptoms, i.e., test-unconfirmed, were included in the study. Additional analyses contrasting non-hospitalized and hospitalized individuals were conducted on test-confirmed COVID-19 patients. The researchers examined 53 distinct symptoms over eight different symptom areas to analyze PASC heterogeneity.

Is Vitamin D Deficiency Implicated in Autonomic Dysfunction?

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/p…20dysautonomia%20patients.

    Conclusion

Dysautonomia, dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, affects the expression of genes involved in calcium metabolism before and after differentiation of the neural cells that gives rise to neurons of the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system. Vitamin D is crucial for the effective functioning of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Low Vitamin D levels can explain the symptom complex of migraine headaches, cardiac and gastrointestinal dysfunction, and oxidative stress as evident in dysautonomia patients. This literature review elucidates the potential therapeutic role of Vitamin D for autonomic dysfunction. More research is needed to investigate the role of Vitamin D in autonomic disorders

Regional Italian Court Raises Constitutional Concerns about COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates Citing Troubling Adverse Event Data

    www.trialsitenews.com

At the start of 2022, Italy extended that nation’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all people over the age of 50 as that country had a massive surge in SARS-CoV-2 infections due to the Omicron variant of concern. Deaths associated with COVID-19 were on the rise and the memory of the first COVID-19 surges when tens of thousands of people died was strong in this southern European nation of 59.5 million. Nearly 165,000 people died in Italy due to COVID-19 with over 16.5 million reported cases. The recent emergency mandate initiated in January 2022 would be in effect until June 15, 2022. COVID-19 vaccine mandates are in effect for other categories of labor, for example in the medical field—they are associated with Decree No. 44/2021 enacted on April 1, 2021. In a case attracting little mainstream media attention, a nursing student challenged in a Sicilian court compulsory COVID-19 vaccination. In what could be considered a bombshell matter, the regional court’s judge raised the constitutionality of the mandatory vaccine law in Italy. As part of the proceeding, the court reviewed COVID-19 vaccine safety data from EudraVigilance, the system for managing and analyzing information on suspected adverse reactions to medicines which have been authorized or are under investigation in the European Union. The Sicilian judge was shocked by the sheer number of adverse reactions and deaths associated with the vaccines—markedly more proportionally than with comparable mandates. In March of this year, the Sicilian judge sent the case and the associated batch of documents the Italian Constitutional Court for review.

TrialSite provides a brief breakdown of this important yet highly unreported case concerning COVID-19 vaccine mandates and by extension, the potential safety issues associated with the new medical products.

What’s the Italian law that was challenged by the nursing student?

Decree No. 44/2021 enacted on April 1, 2021. This new decree extended select parts of previously enforced provisions of COVID-19 emergency rules till April 30, 2021, involving matters in Italy such as A) performance of manufacturing, commercial and professional business activities B) travel within and between Italian regions and C) international travels.

The new decree addressed some pivotal matters including mandatory vaccination for healthcare workers both in the public and private sector as well as a limitation of liability placed those physicians and healthcare institutions that vaccinate the public.

What’s the issue behind this case?

The Applicant, a nursing student at the University of Palmero, sought to conduct an internship without necessary vaccination. The Applicant (the nursing student) argued to the court that the COVID-19 vaccine shouldn’t be mandatory for him because 1) it was experimental 2) he already was infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus behind COVID-19, thus natural immunity was present and 3) the vaccine would expose him to unacceptable safety risk—including risk of death from a severe reaction associated with Antibody-Dependent Enhancement or ADE.

This nursing student challenged the entire Italian mandate, essentially arguing the safety risks associated with what are novel products are statistically too high as compared to those vaccine products associated with comparable compulsory mandates.

    What did the court do?

The regional judge ordered an investigation involving several experts and reviews of vaccine safety data in the EudraVigilance system. After a comprehensive investigation into the efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines as well as the reported side effects in the EudraVigilance system, the Court declared that questions of the constitutionality of the law were both relevant and not clearly unfounded.

Noting persistent uncertainty associated with the COVID-19 vaccine side effects, the Sicilian regional court moved to have the case reviewed by the higher Italian court—the Constitutional Court.

    Implications of the Court’s decision?

In this case, the regional Sicilian Court ponders the constitutionality of this particular law based on principles of proportionality and compatibility with select Italian constitutional provisions including:

Principle of substantial equality and proportionality, Right to health, Right to work, Right to education

    Freedom of thought

What kind of safety data did the Sicilian regional court review?

The Sicilian Court found statistically more frequent side effects when compared to vaccines associated with other mandates. The Court remitted the matter to the Constitutional Court. What follows below are safety data disclosed and discussed in this case:

    Category

    Pfizer-BioNTech

    AstraZeneca

    Moderna

    Janssen

    Doses in EU

    570,000,000

    69,000,000

    139,000,000

    19,000,000

    Adverse effects

    582,000

    244,000

    150,000

    40,766

    Deaths

    7,000

    1,447

    834

    279

While the incidence is low compared to the sheer magnitude of the mass vaccination effort in Europe nonetheless, and the number of adverse events the court acknowledged are undoubtedly mild, questions were raised if more severe pathologies would “compromise the vaccinated patient’s health irreversibly.” Moreover, the total death count was found to deviate proportionally from comparable mandated scenarios.

Of course, as with safety databases in the United States, it’s not necessarily clear how many of the reported cases are with certainty linked causally to the novel products.

Regardless, the Court put forth that the vaccines are associated with “serious or fatal adverse effects.”

    What’s next?

The matter was sent to Italy’s Constitutional Court, the highest court in this European nation in matters concerning constitutional law. Its sessions are held in Palazzo della Consulta in Rome

In India. Some government officials in India are lying, as is P.M. Modi. The W.H.O. along with other Indian officials and independent experts say they are lying, and I am sure they are right. Because, as noted by Alan Smith, in UP there were "multiple districts with zero deaths for numerous months." That is impossible.

Don't you also say that government officials get there info from experts and should be trusted?

Yes, that is the case in the U.S., Europe and Japan. It is not the case in India.

You continue to claim ivermectin dose not work yet here in the united states the activ6 trial continues to enroll patients for ivermectin treatment.

The fact that a test is continuing is not evidence that the drug works. It just means the test has not ended yet. The very best apparent results from ivermectin are marginal at best. They are probably within the margin of error, except in countries where parasites are widespread.

  • Because, as noted by Alan Smith, in UP there were "multiple districts with zero deaths for numerous months." That is impossible.

Prior to the short omicron phase almost all India states had no cases hence no deaths.. This is fact not cheating.
