I was permanently banned from ECW without any notice or warnings.
I at first thought perhaps there was a mistake or possibly my browser was malfunctioning. So I sent a private email to Frank who at least responded.
He stated that indeed I was banned and that the reason was that it was clear to him that I did not believe the eCat was real and that ECW was not for debate on that subject.
I can truly say I was never insulting, trolling nor unreasonable there. I would post, with links, to Rossi's own statements such as "is there news of the 3 plants sold to the satisfied customer of the 1 year test?" etc. etc. If one wants to search my posts, I am quite comfortable with them and they were actually quite infrequent. Less than one per week average probably.
I was not banned for a few days, but permanently!
So I do not think this forum is too rigid at all! The mods here allow VASTLY more differentiating opinions than Ackland does on ECW and of course, Rossi allows NO, ZERO, Nada different opinions on JONP.

Display MoreWell, since you brought it up sifferkoll, I looked at my profile. And sure enough, sifferkoll is right! I don't have any posts before January 28th! This is clearly evidence of suspicious behavior on my part. Especially since I have been posting on this forum since September.
But it doesn't end with me. It's far more sinister than that. Other participants have a cutoff of January 27! In fact NOBODY has any posts before January 27th! (I must not have posted on the 27th).
This is sinister indeed. What if a time vortex in the space-time continuum occurred on that date, coordinated by clandestine operators from the deep state?
Or, maybe the site had a database cutoff date, or an update occurred on January 27th. Nah, that would be too obvious.
Clearly there was some conspiracy on January 27th, and through very complicated and secret ways, this shows that I 'started my shift' then, collecting my paycheck from the deep state. Along with everyone else, including the moderators. These time-vortex guys even control the pro-Rossi contributors here, who also have no posts prior to that date!

Sifferkoll was an annoying poster. Twice, I replied to him politely accepting what he said as genuine and asking for more clarity. As did others, in a more aggresive way. In all cases clarity was the one thing you don't get. Just ever more complex and off the point conspiracy theories with the sting at the end that of course his interlocutor is working for APCO/IH/Big fossil fuels or whatever.
I'm not in favour of banning (neither Abd nor Dewey should have been banned - Abd's banning is particularly weird - nor do I thin those I don't agree with and who post biassed poison (IHFB) should be banned). But in Sifferkoll's case I admit to a certain pleasure that he is gone. His presence (and that od Ele etc) added nothing and lowered the tone.

Well, I'm sorry if I've offended you, and thank you for the accolade which is not deserved by me, or anyone, reality will always surprise. It was not my intent to offend. The statement of idiocy (and impoliteness) applies only if you hold a specific view (and would apply equally to anyone else). If you are saying that the condition for it does apply to you, then I'd like you to be clearer about whom out of Jed, me, Sigmoidal, Dewey you are insulting. If it does not apply to you then of course I'm not insulting you.
There is a lack of balance here. rb0 and later incarnations have popped up appearing from their posts to be connected to the Lugano tests. That would mean one of the Profs or Rossi or Fabioni, I expect. But not admitting it. Otherwise, on the pro-IH side, all connections are explicitly admitted (Jed and Dewey and Abd).
My comment was trying to make clear the fact that while you see the accusations of sock puppets as comparable I think they are not, because there really have been such, transparently, on the pro-Rossi side. Though I've never been sure quite who they are.
