QuoteScientists (unknown only to you) have tested the reactor that was presented to them and that was at that time the most advanced E-Cat available
Explain to me by what bizarre criteria the hot cat was superior to, for example, the original ecat which Levi supposedly tested which made almost 10x the average power at almost 10x the *claimed* COP of the hot cat.
Quoteand they did it using a technique that was, among other things, the most practical to use.
No, it's not. An array of thermocouples is way more practical, far easier, and does not rely on FOURTH POWER calculations where errors are hugely multiplied. Considering the importance of the test, they could have used several techniques together including the Giancarlo style calorimeter I have linked here many times. Want the link AGAIN? And it is glaringly obvious that they should not have allowed Rossi to manipulate the fuel and ash which were sampled for isotopic analysis and they should have calibrated over the entire temperature range of operation because Rossi's reasons for not doing so were specious and ridiculous. They should also have used their own equipment, not involving three phase power, to measure input power in all the experiments.
QuoteRemember that they were not in their labs, they were guests in a company room (from the photos of the Lugano report it seem quite small) and I don't think they had the chance and the time to build here a proper calorimetry system. Furthermore, there is nothing absurd in the use of an Optris camera, which is a very common tool, especially among engineers who analyze the plants.
I don't care if they were on the Moon, it's not an excuse for sloppy, inaccurate work on such an important issue. It's not an excuse for not responding to reasonable and polite critics. The Optris camera is fine for estimating the temperature of things like furnaces, exhaust manifolds, boilers and so on. It is a crude and gross device to use for precision calorimetry. If the scientists could not get the conditions they needed for an accurate tests, they should not have risked their reputations on a sloppy one. Now, almost everyone who heard of this thinks of them as the blind mice. And by the way, all except Essen are unknown to virtually everyone in the world of science. And Essen has way backed off his original enthusiasm for Rossi.
Like ele, SSC, you are so consistently wrong and uninformed that it is burdensome and probably useless to respond to you. I endorse the comments made before with the word "rock" in them.
