Because we…Well. I guess you're right. It would have been better for IH to pay, I believe thay either got greedy or didn't have the money. The surely underestimated Rossi and did not expect the prompt complaint. Rossi was at this time suspicious and tired of all the IH delays with the MW test (for obvious reasons they didnt want to do it since it brought them absolutely no upside - only an invoice...)
By filing the complaint Rossi got out of the NDA license agreement leash and the roles changed. Weaver is a good example of the panic that erupted ...
Also, you should not underestimate the upside to discredit Rossi on the MW test. IH never planned to pay, but it backfired in way they did not expect. They though Rossi valued the $89M or a mid way settlement more than the license agreement. Big mistake. Huge..

I'm glad, IH refused to pay and refused to cancel the agreement (even when offered the money back by Rossi). It all hit the fan now and we will get to see it with our own eyes being debated in the court. All in open. This is one side of the coin.
The other side is, no E-Cats for people for many years to come, at least in the US. -

The…At least now Rossi will have to prove the E-Cat is real one way or another. He either proves he can do what no other scientist or engineer on the planet has been able to do or is proven as the fraudster that he is. The irony in Rossi producing a device that no other scientist in the world can create is that Rossi's engineering degree is from a diploma mill that was shut down for fraud!!!! That is pure comedy gold to me!

Presumably you're referring to a statement made by Mats Lewan, who is quoting a source. Who is that source? According to Mats it's Rossi. Pending further information from IH, we are left to assess the reliability and straightforwardness of this claim that IH refused to cancel the license agreement, which has been passed on by Mats, by considering the reliability and straightforwardness of statements made by Rossi (as filtered by Mats). -

I guess I'm confused now... And maybe I didn't completely get your UFO abduction theory on the Lugono Report, but I'm sure it contains many words and repetitions ... And to answer DNI about his UFO fears; yes I have used an imaginary UFO energy beam to describe the [n+1] number of amazingly creative theories on frauds and ignorance some people seems to be able to invent to keep their imaginary reality intact.
