Rossi-Blog Comment Discussion

  • He or she had remarked that if a cheap, prolific, new way of harnessing energy were to be developed and became popular, this might constitute a new additional factor in global warming -- because the released energy, of whatever form, would eventually become heat. http://disq.us/p/25zwiea

The figures do not bear that out. World total energy use, if emitted as heat (and it is, pretty well all) contributes a tiny fraction to global temperature rise and it is NOT cumulative. In other words the temperature increase from dissipated anthropogenic heat is proportional to that heat power. Whereas the rise due to CO2 greenhouse effect accumulates since it is proportional to CO2 levels.

Considered over a short period the direct effect of heat (from, say coal) will be larger than the greenhouse contribution. Over longer timescales the CO2 dominates.

We are in trouble with AGW because of CO2 levels that are the result of 100 years of emissions (though due to increasing emission rate over time it is the last 40 years that predominate)

In fact the time for CO2 to dominate over direct heating when burning fossil fuels is only 124 days, and CO2 stays in the atmosphere for 200 years +. We have an average time of 40 years (v ballpark) for CO2 in atmosphere so the fraction of warming due to direct heating is (v ballpark) less than 1%. As AGW from greenhouse effect continues that fraction goes down.

  • Predefined answer: Yes

    ^^^^^^

Well it was gonna be either "yes" or no answer; I'm pretty happy with a yes given that we will possibly now be able to verify his claim later on.

Same with the entity being an organization that will somewhat well known. If it ends up being some random guy running a one-man corporation, that would contradict Rossi.

My bet is on the Uppsala crew. Ambiguous enough that it will appear like the university backed the testing.

  • Are you sure they do? Or is it yet another JONP Rossi fabrication? :/ (I have pictures to prove our golf, plus references). I think Rossi and his wife play Monopoly, because it is so much like their condo real estate accumulation gig.

    Is this the golf course?

If it is you and Rossi could meet at

the halfway house for a drink.

Interesting video about a golfer that

was hit by lightning and the mystery

    of lightning.

  • 1) Impossible. Rossi's enemies would likely try to contact them and use inappropriate tactics to get them to stop working with Rossi.

    2) If the name of the testing organization was revealed, this would lead to the first result.

    3) Impossible due to #1.

    4) Impossible. Rossi will not allow this. As long as the testers have full control over the environment of the test, it doesn't matter if it is on Rossi's property.

    5) Reasonable.

    6) Easy. Non-issue.

    7) Reasonable.

  • As long as Rossi is acting dubious and unprofessional like he did in the past. major companies don't have to fear anything. And thus have not to spent one single cent to hire talkers.

They do. The established corporations of the world have plenty to fear. Even if Rossi never revealed another nugget of information, the path towards limitless clean energy is now obvious: the negative resistance regime of a plasma discharge. The poorest country in the world - if they have the wisdom to do so - can utilize this knowledge to become totally energy independent in no time flat because unlike hot fusion this type of research costs virtually nothing. It will even cost less than figuring out the countless variables of powder based systems which are a thing of the past.

Wouldn't catalysts and the proper ration of gasses in a plasma be important, especially the presence of atomic hydrogen? Fancy electric discharges in inert plasma won't release excess energy.

  • I disagree slightly.

    1. Very possible, in fact simple. Reveal the entity first. It is as simple as a post on JONP with a confirmation from the group. Conspiracy theories do not make things impossible. These testing groups are not afraid of fantasy villians.

    2. Possible. In fact simple due to #1.

    3. Possible. In fact simple. Simply move the device to the testing facility. All it takes is a moving van. Someone not allowing something doesn't make it impossible. Someone not allowing a real test makes it a scam.

If Rossi wanted to show it really works, he would do these things. He may not, reason being it does not work.

Remember last time (SK) that it worked so well it was already being industrialized, puppet shows and campy songs and all? How did that work out?

      Dear Andrea,

At the upcoming Stockholm presentation, apart from yourself, will we hear from anyone who is from your technical/business team?

      Many thanks,

      Frank Acland

      Yes.

      carissimo Andrea,

      1. Will the device that will be marketed be completely closed as if it were a black box and properly sealed?

      2. Will a device be in operation during the presentation in Stockholm?

      Thank you

Dear distinguished Dr Rossi, future Nobel laureate and saint,

    1. Would it be possible for any kind of battery to fit in this sealed closed box, 10cm x 10cm?

    2. Will there be any special switches on the box that will be manipulated during the test, depending on what type of measurement is being done?

    3. Should we be concerned about excess heat and the lack of a heat exchanger?

Translate Andrea Rossi December 11, 2019 at 4:08 AM

    Sockpuppet:

    1 no

2 yes, but these switches have no bearing on the test results.

    3. no, irrelevant since we are testing electricity, not heat.

    Tepid Regards,

    A.R.

  • Oh, yes!!!

Steorn Orbo Cube Selfcharging USB Mobile Phone Charger free energy device.

Here is a leaked photo of ecat SKL robotic factory, churning out the internal power units. There are 3 stacked per SKL unit, inside the blue 10cm square cube, with redundancy for individual failures. Power output is delivered via standard USB cabeling. Simple yet effective.

I understand, but what's over my head is this: how, on earth, is it possible that you need more than 11000 posts to say essentially that "Rossi has nothing" ?

Your post is the #11,517th in this thread only!

Why this story has not ended 8 years ago ?
