Rossi's extremely unprofessional behavior and the superstitious belief of his followers endanger the credibility of an entire branch of research. In the meantime, it almost doesn't matter if Rossi has a working reactor. Even if, as a businessman, I would avoid any connection to him, so as not to lose credibility myself.
Axil is going crazy, again.
According to themselves, there are two people in the world that know the most about LENR, more than Mizuno, Mills, Saphire team, Rossi, and whoever else is actually working on it in a lab.
They make regular claims about specific phenomena and "regimes" critical to LENR with absolute certainty.
It is these kind of people that irritate me.
Einstein, Dirac, Newton. None of these individuals seemed to be so certain about their infallibility.
Similar to the acronym BEC for Bose-Einstein Condensate, Let's call it ADI.
The amazing thing is that the technologies being developed by Rossi, BLP, and SAFIRE are so darned simple that any small company in the world could start work on producing their own version of the technology.

I highly doubt that.

I'm not so sure about that. BLP have spent $20M+ and several decades to get somewhere we aren't sure about. Rossi must have spent $2M by now on something of a mystery. Safire have spent (AFAIK) something like $10M and around 5 years scaling up. It might not be as easy as you think. ETA- even Norront with their big team, must be spending $2M a year (at least). Sweden is a high-wage high-cost environment.
... "to get somewhere we aren't sure about,"
Nowhere?
I don't knowhere either.
It's turned from serious, to harmless fun IMO. Like Trekkies. Rossi fans know (well, hopefully they do) that what he is feeding them is all fantasy, but it gives them an excuse to talk about exotic technologies, show off their knowledge, and dream of what could be.
Would not surprise me when the puppet show is over, they start an annual Rossi convention, and dress up as an Italian inventor. As long as Rossi is alive, he will attend, sign their copies of his Researchgate paper, and tell them stories of how happy his many satisfied customers are.
No puppet show planned.
Dear Andrea,
I know you have not provided a date, or have made any announcement about the expected E-Cat SKL presentation, but have you been making any plans about it?
Best wishes,

Not yet.

Then my suspicions are validated again. Something electron/chemically mediated that doesn't violate thermodynamics or change the fundamental constants just rings a lot more true.
This is an interesting approach that'd fill even more plotholes without claiming unproven theories are immutable (nuclear/strong force)!

If the average R&D costs to enliven commercial/industrial condensed energy devices successfully fall in the 100 million dollar camp instead of billions, that is still in the range of many companies and governments!

Agreed. But Director said 'any small company'.
True this definately a little more than an arch welder with a H/D tank attached.
The Cobraf Blackout (cold fusion, Andra Rossi..) forum subject has been closed, apparently permanently.
A good news, it was populated by many Rossi's supporters spreading rubbish.

Beg your pardon Sir but I don't completely agree. There was also a decent group of brave gentlemen who regularly made fun of their naive enthusiasms.
I'll really miss it. It was my favorite morning reading to start the day with a smile.
Sadly it was (AFAIK) the last Italian blog/forum still talking about the Rossi's miracle.
The last comment.

"but I would go further, I would close this imperial thread"
Antitrader's suggestion was accepted, analyzed and approved by Dr. Zibordi. I have left the old posts visible (+ 30,000 since 2002) but I have disabled the possibility of writing new ones.
You can migrate to other threads, not moderated, and there to expose your reasoning and considerations for or against the FF, mocking or not, as you please.
My business ceases here, therefore. Best regards

It does't matter, any forum that in some way still feeds Rossi's hoax it deserves to be closed.
No, we have a democracy, you can not close the topic to any opponent, the Internet will put everything in its place!!!

Free speech, lies can't continue forever, only truth persists.
