Rossi is an incredibly hard working, intelligent, and intuitive individual. However, he has inventors syndrome just like virtually everyone else who has came up with a radical new technology. He is willing to lie and manipulate to advance his technology.

Responding to serious posts with snarkiness is a common tactic of pseudo-skepticals with purposeful agendas.
The pejorative phrase "pseudo skeptic" means false skeptic, literally people that act like skeptics but are not. This term applied to people who are truly skeptical of Rossi is a misuse of the English language. And what is this supposed agenda? To expose a fraud? Sure beats a purposeless agenda I guess.

Trouble is Hutchison admitted faking a lot of his experiments (like turning his video camera upside down to demonstrate falling objects were spontaneously rising into the air etc) so unlike others e.g. Ken Shoulders he probably falls into the Rossi category for faking data to suit himself. Can any of it be taken seriously?

How do you know "Rossi is an incredibly hard working", from what he says about himself on his blog? He works harder at accumulting condos and playing tennis with his wife. His lies and manipulation have not advanced one damn thing, and in fact every single demo seems to get worse. Save the armchair psychological analysis of fake syndromes for self analysis.

One can't help liking Bob Greenyer for his enthusiasm and creativity but as an investigator he is appallingly bad. The very fact that he finds all of these structures in John Hutchison's samples demonstrates that there is nothing going on here. Hutchison is an out and out faker who likes to attract attention to himself by pretending to produce astounding effects using surplus electrical equipment with lots of big dials.
At one point in the video that axil links to, Bob holds up a twisted metal bar that Hutchison gave him. Hutchison claims that it spontaneously twisted itself up in this way after he activated by his equipment. Bob accepts this statement absolutely uncritically but it looks to me as though someone has heated up the bar a bit and then twisted it using some sort of wrench. Bob has lots of such Hutchison samples that he dutifully examines with his equipment. I have asked him (Bob) over and over to apply a little common sense and ask to actually see one of these melting, twisting. disintegrating samples being produced in person, but nothing doing. Even a video would help! Hutchison has videos of claimed spontaneously distorting pieces of metal undergoing their changes which, mysteriously, never show up in the samples Bob receives. Instead the samples Bob gets from Hutchison look as though they have been distorted by completely ordinary means. Yet Bob is incurious about all of this and pushes forward with sophisticated analyses and offering exotic interpretations in place of obvious but more ordinary ones.
This is the worst of the lenr field. It isn't really the fakers (Hutchison, Rossi) who do the damage, it is the uncritical self-deluded fans who, in their enthusiasm, blind themselves to reality. It is a warning to us all. We are all susceptible to this. Professionals scientists tend to be more aware and on guard against the dangers than amateurs simply because they have to get their work past peer reviewers in order to publish -- all of which makes me wonder about people who don't publish and attack the peer review system.

There is a degree of unwarranted and uninformed theory mixing at play here. Rossi says that his system is based on the work of Holmlid (via pico clusters). There is an unjustified association between what Rossi is doing and the work that Ken Shoulders et al has done. Rossi rejects the EVO has playing any part in his technology or LENR for that matter. Also MFMP, not only references Hutchinson in the video, he also shows results from one of the two LION experiments and also results produced by Keith Fredericks. Critics of experimental results should be as rigorous, consistent, and comprehensive as those who present the results.
In general, effective, cogent, and convincing criticism should come from those who have a depth of knowledge about the subject that is equal to or greater than those who research the subject.

It is abundantly clear that there are individuals here who are quite confident that their tireless scouring of fringe websites provides far greater scientific acumen than advanced degrees and decades of research experience.
