I see now from JONP that one of Rossi's partners who is licensed to make and use the Ecat, is already getting ready to manufacture them:

Stan Lee actually nominated Rossi for a

Nobel prize in Science (Fiction),

but sadly, Stan passed, and without his immense stature and presence, Rossi’s momentum faded.

Rossi has acquired enough capital from at least one licensee to build an e-cat factory!

I wanted to bring at least some good news to those who may need it to get them through the election.

your last comments about your licencees are very encouraging. Two questions:

1- With the initial licence fees do you have the money to finance your first own e-cat factory?

2- Do you have an agreement with your licencees, that they don`t compete with you in the same market you want to serve?

I used to do cabinetry and furniture, mostly hardwood mission style, settles, cabinets, coffee tables, end tables, beds, things like that. I started using "woodworker" when I did more of that. Now I mostly relax, read and play with the cats.

As to philosophy and law, I do think that there are some similarities in that both try to teach one to question the accepted "TRUTH", especially when the evidence for it is all "I say, therefore it must be." Both try to teach one to ask questions, intelligent questions intended to get at both the facts and the truth of an issue, and how to reason in a logical fashion. Logic is an essential element in taking philosophy and IMHO should be in law, but it is not.

As an attorney, I can attest to that. I have always encouraged my clients to start off negotiations fairly and see how the other side responds. If the other side is an asshole, well, I can be a bigger asshole than anyone if I need to. The result of the first approach is less fighting, less mistrust, quicker negotiations and lower attorneys' fees. If the sides want to fight, the only real winner is the lawyers.

Also

There are numerous game theory studies that conclude that if you approach someone else with courtesy and open hands they are more likely to respond that way, and if they don't, then it is appropriate to respond on their level. Those studies also seem to show that open hands, etc. result in a better outcome for all the parties, while being an asshole usually results in a lower or lesser result for the parties.

I apologize for not responding more quickly, but I have been working in Las Vegas the last two weeks as a poll observer. And I guess I must have missed something where I appeared to insult someone -- I certainly don't recall doing that. And if I did, please point out exactly where and how.

And you may be a very skilled carpenter, but there is a world of difference between a carpenter and a cabinet/furniture maker.

Good to know, thanks. So Rossi said he had a Florida factory in 2012 that was in the process of being automated to make Ecats. Doesn't seem it got to the point of actual production though. In one of the latest posts from that link Rossi says,

So it seems he owes Barney a beer and pizza.

Hmm...sounds and looks more like a "Stockholm deja-vu"? Cables, power meters, ampere meters, little glowing plasma parts, slight of hands ;-)?...how can such a 15min "demonstration" meet Rossi's ongoing claims that he has all tested and certified (!) and is ready to ramp up production or licencing of a "product"? For sure this all happened in his condo in Miami and not in a lab or R&D dept of his partners facility... oh wait: didn't he respond back then to a legal request from the US that he is trapped in Italy due to the pandemic? ...

As usual so many questions, but no answers other than Rossisays (and Frank Acland says to keep his followers happy...).

I have to correct myself after another read of all the wild speculations on ECW.... wall outlet sockets with 220V/50Hz is of course not the US (115/60). So he was indeed in Europe (in Italy?). SO in case Rossi told him he was in a Lab close to his Condo, this simply can't be...

So Frank got to see a demo via Skype, nice! My thinking is that Andrea gave him permission to report, because what Frank saw in the early spring was a much less developed version of the E-cat SKL : still plugged into the mains for input, and producing as much heat as electricity.

I don't think its mentioned in the report but the output voltage must be around 920V. Quite a dangerous bit of kit by the sound of it. Aside: I assume it really was a 1K resistor.

What I would do is put a 10 Ohm resistor inside the 1kOhm. 0.92*10=9V That would be much safer and wouldn't get as hot.
