Rossi-Blog Comment Discussion

  • With 11M in the bank, it seems like he could at least afford a good power meter.

Say a Clark Hess or Keysight.

Surely he knows people will be looking at his input measurements.

One 1ohm resister (are we sure it is 1 ohm?? and suitable for high currents?) and one measure is not very encouraging.

  • How do you know what Rossi does through his private philanthropy? Some say that anonymous giving is the most noble type of giving.

Really he did or is another speculation of believer?

I bet you cannot prove it... ah, maybe he donated 10M$ to cure cancer of children but like an anonymous donator.

JoNP means Journal of Null-Physics (the house of hoax, trickery, junk and psychopathological science).

  • yes Rossi was spending 20 hours a day in a hot warehouse writing anonymous check, then perhaps not. Perhaps it was Darden that wrote a 89M check to the cancer fund. We know (true) that Darden paid for a health clinic in Ethiopia and help set up water treatment there.

Your constant negative attitude is getting really old. You don't know whether Rossi has given any money to charity, but in my opinion it would be premature anyway. Much better for the world to spend his limited funds on R & D and getting the E-Cat QX into production more quickly. If it works out, as he hopes, I have little doubt he will be generous from his nature - he doesn't spend all his time running others down like you do.. What good have you ever done for the world?.

  • AA, it is interesting that you seem to consider defending and trying to rationalize the actions of a pathological liar and serial con artist to be doing something of value for the world. Perhaps it will take years for you to finally come to the realization that at best you are utterly wasting your time and at worst are helping to prolong a scam that victimizes both hapless investors and legitimate researchers trying to validate their own work. But kudos for feeling good about yourself. Too bad positive thoughts about repulsive things don’t make them any better.

It won't be long now, the Quark will power well pumps through the world in backwater villages far and wide and millions of poor people will be able to drink abundant clear water. Rossi will be the reason and uncounted lives will be made better, and the sons of perdition, the purveyors of pain and suffering will have lost another battle.

Is Rossi evil because he victimizes the victimizers, where deceit and perversion is the most admired business practices of the oligarchs? Such behavior has been lionized since the age of Robin Hood, where prince john's gold relieved the misery of the common people. Yes, Rossi is the Robin Hood of this new age.

  • It would be great to see a self sustaining device that powers a water pump without outside connections.

Now that would be a good demo.

Notice that this has long been a dream of cold fusion researchers.

see the old Infinite energy article:

LENR support has long been rooted in humanitarianism, and its opposition the opposite.

I think much of that money is now in the hands of his shysters attorneys.

Yah shoore! Just like Steorn's Orbo does. I bet Alan Smith remembers it!

And Shaun McCarthy has been lying all along. In 2006 he said Orbo tech had been validated by 8 universities and yet they were never named nor did any come forth. At one point he claimed Orbo output of 550BHP at other times he claimed OU output of 130%, 285%, 400%. Shaun claimed patents relative to the tech which in fact do not exist. He claimed Steorn was providing Orbo powered water pumps to African communities (a total lie). He said that Steorn would share exacting details to the developers clubs on how the various Orbo’s worked after jury validation which never happened. He said they found the error with Phil Watson’s test results but never revealed what it was, same with their select jury.

The similarities of hallmarks of free energy scams never stop to amaze me.

According to Mr. Rossi, the QuarkX produces a voltage potential when in operation and with negligible internal resistance. But he also has clarified that it is not enough electrical energy to be of much use. The primary output is heat.

Aren't the ion setup for direct electric harvesting superior to the heat emitting LENR devices? Removes the hassle with the Carnot cycle and need for Sterling engines.

I just think that if the COP is high enough in Rossi's devices, that could offset the 'low' energy gains lost from heat to energy production.

If it does produce 20W of heat at COP 1777 there should be no problem of putting it in a box covered with Peltier chips (typical eff. 5%) sitting in the room air to generate 1W of electrical power and he claims it only needs 0.015 W of input.

with simple Al box, Peltier chips and heat fins he could have 100 times what he needs to unplug it after starting.
