As you know, or should know, UL approval is years away. It is not required for industrial applications.
I am fine with this with one exception - publication must be in a peer reviewed publication, must not be retracted, revised, etc. for another year after publication and (in the conjunctive and not including the disjunctive) must be reproducible by independent unaffiliated third party testers. No publication of "look what I accomplished" without verification and the ability to replicate. If you have that much confidence in Rossi and his honesty, those shouldn't be a problem.
Publication should be in any reputable journal or paper. Peer reviewed journals are reluctant to publish anything on LENR and it may take a while for them to come around. Certainly highly unlikely within three months.
Adding another year to wait for retractions is not acceptable.
Scientific verification and replication will not be possible in the allocated time frame. If it happens, Rossi will have only just started production.
As you insisted that I must use a cashier's check or similar, you should also be held to the same standard.
That you would want to back out by making impossible requirements is what I expected.
Adrian - you want to state, that commercial suppliers, who will be installing Leonardo's "heating devices" in an industrial environment, do not care about UL, which is a prerequisite not only for the tons of cabling, piping, pumps etc. and electrical wiring and powering? This would be the first time in modern history that somebody would operate a facility with an unknown energy generator e.g. in the basement and puts everybody in the building at risk (thermal runaway, radiation?, heat? other unknown hazards and potential health affecting emmissions..... Good luck!
Meanwhile I am convinced you would buy blind one of those without being interested how to deal with potential incidents and legal requests from insurance companies and their lawyers.

I don't think the bluster around setting up a bet concerning Rossi's new tech is as impressive as it must sound to some in this thread. It really looks kind of (looking for the right word ...) ill-informed to object to people attempting to set up reasonable conditions prior to entering into the bet; or to call out people for reneging on the bet when the terms have yet to be negotiated in first place or people's individual positions clarified; or to object to requests that the terms go beyond a simple report in a reputable newspaper as being unreasonable (after all, there were several mentions in Forbes of stuff about Rossi, and we see where that has gone).
Undoubtedly, this bluster was to be expected.

I agree with you Eric. Sounded do-able at first, but as we have gotten into the details, everyone seems to have a different idea of what would constitute a Rossi working device.
Understandable with Rossi's history... not only with the Ecat, but Petroldragon, and the TE's also. Had bets been placed before we even heard of Doral, right now AA would be trying to collect claiming it a success, while those betting against would be trying to collect claiming it a fraud/failure.
Keep trying though; maybe you guys can find a satisfactory middle ground.
I think there is a better than one in ten chance Rossi will start production in 2019. The skeptics SAY they think there is zero chance but their actions, so far, are more in line with my thought.
If Rossi does start production it will be a big deal and much will be written about it. If he doesn't there will be silence. I think it will be easy to tell from this.

When I asked Brian if he worked with Rossi, he said they were "false allegations".
Somehow Hydrofusion has let the R'ster back in. I guess he explained in his special charming way that he knew along that they would be together and that
their temporary split was just something he had to do to "protect" Hydrofusion and the "IP". There is no telling what he has promised them and I'm looking forward to seeing how that all ends as he runs his patented expectation / calendar method.

The Swedes have a high glacial cliff hanging over their heads as a result of their inability or refusal to address questions about their reports / papers. The lack of scientific courtesy in failing to respond substantially impacts their ability to be taken seriously until they clean this up. They were challenged on their findings / publications and apparently have gone into active hiding with the exception of the sacrificial post doc they put up for cover. Their only way out is a breakthrough announcement which I guess they continue to hope for. Hanging their reputation, hopes and career on the likes of the WCS remains stunning to me after all we've learned in the past couple of years.

That is not true. Rossi has hand built a number of prototypes for demos but has never set up a production line - in this case for an automated mass production line.

Are you willing to answer the simple question: are there any circumstances under which you would conclude that Rossi has nothing of value and never has? (And answering “proof that the e-cat does not work” is not an acceptable answer. One can NEVER prove that something does not exist.)
AA - are you some kind of unemployed comedian? R produced teen charms / rings, refuse burners, waste oil refiners that didn't work, TE modules that didn't work, 1MW containers that didn't work and I'm sure there is more . The lifelong specialty of the WCS besides charm school is separating people from their money. He cannot expect his victims to stand by idly while he hits the repeat cycle with his motley cast of characters. His mistake this time is staying at the same well and coming back for more - first time he has ever done that after a successful job.

I never said highly inclined. I think there is better than a one in ten chance he has something. That should tell you where I stand. I'm not about to waste time thinking of hypothetical situations.
