Can you send me the link in a private conversation (see here: https://www.lenr-forum.com/conversation-list/)?
Forum Software Update

In the new format it would be nice to see a "Forum" button at the bottom of each page so one does not have to scroll to the top to go there. The old format had a link at the bottom >

I am starting to like this new software.
-
These two links are kind of nice:
https://www.lenr-forum.com/forum/unread-thread-list/
https://www.lenr-forum.com/forum/latest-posts/
And the notifications can be fine-tuned as well.
-
Could we please get a 'Cancel" button next to the 'Submit' and 'Review' button?
I did see a "restored post" function when I jumped out of a post to cancel it, and then returned to the thread. That is cool.

If it's almost a matter of flipping a switch in the forum software, is it possible to have:
- A separate new page for submitting new comments or editing existing ones, like the one appearing when creating new threads?
- An optional additional comment editing mode allowing more simple BBCode instead of HTML?
-
Can,
This is interesting. Do you have a reason that BBcode would help here? Is there a specific reason that you are advocating it?
*a link for what is BBcode-is-here for anyone who wants to know.

In this new forum layout (which generally I like) it seems I can't switch to portal? When I try to do this it switches immediately back to forum. Anyone else noted this?

Taking some getting used to, but everyone seems to be catching on to the new "look". No more green I hope?
Anyways, the B "bold face" is not so bold anymore.
-
One (new) feature which I would appreciate is the possibility to download all comments of particular user in some compact format (for instance date, thread name, post content in HTML code) for backup and later reference.
-
This is indeed a feature I'm missing too. Woltlab just replaced it with HTML
If you jump out the reply and come back later, there is a little "X" icon on the bottom right corner. So you can canel the draft.
You may find the RSS feed interesting: https://www.lenr-forum.com/forum/board-feed/

Hi barty.
I seem to have lost track of the 'create new thread' button. I have 'Edit Thread' at the top of the page as befits a mod - but seem to have mislaid 'create new'. Any ideas?
-
Yes, just go "up" to the sub-forum in which you want to create the new thread.
For e.g. go to "LENR - Physics". Then you will see the button
-
Thank you barty- got it now.
