Were they looking to sell and then lease the building back to get cash?
BLP update

Again a very mysterious case.
Mostly many things are very likely to have the simplest answer revaling the truth:
BLP never sat there or they never worked there. -
Were they looking to sell and then lease the building back to get cash?
I believe they put their building up for sale 1 1/2 years ago. That was about when Columbia Tech could not make their Suncell PV work, and things looked bleak. If it is sold, they plan on leasing back the same rooms (lots of unused space) they use now.
-
Over on ECW, Navid corrected his earlier claims with this,:
1) The SunCell is running.
2) The DOD is a licensee through ARA.
3) The DOD was onsite to see the SunCell.#3 Was well reported on here last fall, so that is true. BLP felt after the December visit...which they say went well, that partnering up with the DOD would impede their main goal of bringing this to the commercial markets.
#2 The DOD contracted ARA to test Mills claims. In 2013/14 the ARA did get the "rights", or a license, from BLP to use their technology in government facilities. Along with two universities, they subsequently did verify both the tech of that time, and Hydrino's. My source is unaware though, if ARA is still involved now -in 2019.
#1 That could mean anything, but if it implies ARA/DOD is running a Suncell, that would also imply ARA is still working with BLP, and that we don't know. Maybe Navid has better info than me?

And all the university work was sponsored, paid for and supervised by BLP. It grossly fails to qualify as independent.
I don't know but I suspect they're circling the drain. Any investor looking at their past record would puke. Or should.

Many companies and government use Applied Research Alliance (ARA) to do their due diligence. If they say it's good, it is...very much like an SRI. This is the 2014 video, where Dr. Renick of ARA gives a talk at BLP's facility. It starts at :47 with his introduction, and goes on for another 15 minutes:

BLP has not shied away from running their technology through the ringer by the likes of ARA. And it was not only ARA, as others have done thee same, with the same confirmed results...including the Hydrino theory. That is just a fact. You can say whatever you want, be suspicious, mock them, whatever, but you can not fault them for their history of independent testing.
And before you go off about "independent", ARA was contracted out by the DOD to test. It was not BLP's money, it was the US governments. That means it was truly independent. Had BLP provided the funding, it still would have been an independent validation as far as i am concerned. A company like ARA (or SRI), simply would not compromise the integrity of the company, risk their reputations, just to mollify the one paying the bills. And to BLP's credit, there were many more validators over the years. Some they commissioned, some not. Many did direct testing, others observed. Add it all up, and BLP is probably the most independently verified LENR related company, or technology in the 30 year history. Keep your skepticism by all means, as I will mine, but at least give them the credit they deserve for that.
-
I don't question the validity of the claims, comparing to the Italian that I shall not name, BLP has some impressive backing even if pathoskeptics would never recognize it. What has dissapointed me of BLP is that after more than 15 years we are still not able to benefit from their technology that is supposed to be "market ready".

Yeah, I agree. BLP people are very proud of their accomplishments, and feel they are light years ahead of anyone in LENR. That the Storms, McKubre's, etc. think they are seeing fleeting glimpses of LENR's, but are actually seeing Hydrino reactions. And the only reason LENRists are floundering still after 30 years, and will never make it out of the lab, is because they do not have the correct theory...which would be the Hydrino theory they are pursuing.
When I, or Alan asks "then why don't you have anything in the market after 20 years of promises".... We like to have some fun too.

RM is a perfect antipod to the man whose name we shall not say );
No obscure posting on the blogs instead overly detailed technical papers. In this case it describes silver aerosolization experiment. Looks like RM really enjoys what he is doing. I wish, though, that greed and businesses drivers would prevail on him so we see industrial prototype sooner.

If I were I pentagon general I would drool over that
"These parameters result in the
extraction of 471 kW of MHD power from a 16 cm long channel
with 4 cm2 maximum cross section and gas exit temperature of
1800 K wherein the heat inventory is recovered by gas absorption
in molten silver. The silver is recycled with insignificant power
using electromagnetic pumps having no moving parts. The
channel volume is 20.4 cm3 so the corresponding MHD power
density is about 23.1 kW/cm3 (23.1 MW/litre) which compares
very favourably with typical power densities in the range of only
about 30 kW/litre for state-of-the-art high-speed heavy-duty diesel
engines. "Say actual performance is half that. You could power Abrams with 4-10 of these which would run forever on the water extracted from crew urine.

will it make a tank temperature same as ambient?

Hey Max Nozin , why does "RM" as you like to call him, always couch his results in power and not in energy?
Hey Ahlfors , the article is still there. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brilliant_Light_Power And it's not exactly positive for the company. The word "fraud" appears a lot. How that lawsuit working out for "RM?"

This paper is interesting but I don’t see it as experimental, but simulation, where is the experimental setup depicted? I have trouble to read well in my phone due to my early presbicia, but I think I see all this is estimated from ecuations not measured from an actual experimental setup.
Anyway, MHD converters are expressly mentioned as one of the the technologies subject to the secrecy of invention act so the DoD interest is granted

A one hour run is a great step forward. And he mentioned that they kept the internal temperature steady. With this kind of system a steady temperature is probably hard to achieve:

Seems like a calorimetry with interesting results is possible within the next year.
