I wish I had BLP shares so I could sell them to him.

    ROTFWL!

Mills is out of the prediction business, and will no longer venture his guess as to when commercialization will happen. Guess he reads the critiques of him

Brilliant! The critique of his predictions has been around for going on thirty years. He just now learned how to read critiques, perhaps?

I'm waiting for the going-out-of-business sale. Maybe I can pick up a BLP labcoat cheap. Or a suncell to use for the Fourth of July (If I can find lots of 440V 3 phase power at the parade grounds).

  • I like the part of the anonymous briefing summary that makes it clear that the author is completely unbiased:

"Furthermore, Dr. Mills is arguably the greatest scientist and innovator in history."

You obviously dont think that this is true otherwise you wouldnt make fun of him. But perhaps Mills ist the greatest scientist in history. So would you say you are unbiased?

I would be very cautious with accusations of being biased. We humans are all biased on a thousand topics so a bit of humility is appropriate for everyone of us.

My opinion: if he can proof hydrino, show that his atomic model gives good predictions for the involved energies and his correction to einsteins relativity proofs correct I think Mills is arguably the greatest scientist in history.

Robert Horst is not remarking about Miles one way or the other, he is commenting on the apparent subjectivity of the author of the article.

It makes more sense for him to prove what the SUN-CELL reaction products are: 2H or 4He? or just AgH* compounds.

Mills "correction to einsteins relativity is correct". This is given by the prove of the magnetic mass of the proton and the exact 126GV resonance of the proton magnetic mass measured at CERN.

Mills is by no doubt one of the greatest physicists. But this does not make him a great engineer, who already made silly mistakes, like the photovoltaic dome, which will go blind under silver vapor or will deliver pure efficiency, when just run at low temperature.

You got to give the devil his due. Mills deserves immortality just for discovering a self-sustaining plasma. That alone is impressive in the extreme. Just as important as the discovery of the LENR reaction. That plasma discovery should have made it onto the national news, but it has been universally ignored. Maybe such a discover is deadly to all pay checks and job security of the hot plasma physicists or maybe the GUT is an anchor chain around Mills' neck that keeps his real and substantive accomplishments from being acknowledged.

OK, Axil. Please explain how some hot plasma physicists, afraid of job loss, could prevent Mills from talking to the press or could prevent the press from publishing? Or for that matter, could prevent Bezos or Musk from buying in? What are they going to do? Stage a porn star weekend for Mills and publish it? What exactly can they do that is not a para-nerd fantasy?

    Ignore what he has done.

  • C'mon Axil, why would wealthy entrepreneurs ignore the strong possibilities of making more money than anyone ever has before?

Want a clue? Because nobody except a few enthusiasts and colleagues actually believes anything Mills has said or claimed he did. That's why he is widely ignored. I'm not even saying he is wrong. But the claims are extravagant and the performances are dreadful. So what to expect? Are you really that impressed by some flashes of bright light? Then buy an arc light for your backyard. I think you can buy these up to 300kW. Look up the Vortek water-wall plasma arc lamp,

I think Mills is feeling the pressure after having to lay off key employees, put his lab up for sale, and reach into the secondary funding market for liquidity:

"Ceramics, induction systems, resistive heater, reversible insulation, chemistry control systems, MHD, and other design innovations have solved the foreseeable problems with high T, electricity system. Gallium, time-static cathode, heat exchanger, other design innovations have solved the foreseeable problems for a thermal product. Theory equations and results are being meticulously validated by an outside physics professor.Hydrino in a bottle settles the issue of the issue of the existence of hydrinos and the basis of our power source for good. It also vanquishes quantum theory and all modern pure mathematical based theories."

But this last one is really lame, and desperate IMO, considering he is hosting an open house this Oct for the government:

"The government worked hard to put Brilliant Light Power out."

Some info from the latest Mills shareholder briefing.

    My summary :

    a) Work on the SunCell has been abandoned (suspended? Neither the silver pumps or PV's work)

    b) They now plan to go with thermal and/or MHD generator (patents filed ...? Unknown territory.)

    c) They are trying to 'bottle' hydrinos (metal hydrino-hydride compounds) which could be examined in outside labs

    d) They are investigating explosive reactions (10*TNT)

    e) They are liquidating some of their assets (lab) and cutting their burn rate

  • Mills deserves immortality just for discovering a self-sustaining plasma.

Axil, did he really discover this plasma? Where is the recipe for this plasma and has it been replicated? It is so hard to follow the truth about these things on this website, and way worse on ECW. Forget your chiral polaritons for a second and let's try to help prove them right or wrong.

  • Robert Horst is not remarking about Miles one way or the other, he is commenting on the apparent subjectivity of the author of the article.

Exactly (although this is about MIlls, not Miles). When reading something sent out anonymously like this, it is fair to use anything in the article to try to figure out if the author is impartial or not. When the article says that "Dr. Mills is arguably the greatest scientist and innovator in history," it sounds like a sales or investor pitch, not someone trying to objectively report status.

It was especially jarring to me as I am just finishing Isaacson's great biographies of Einstein and Da Vinci, who would both be on my short list for those titles.

Mills has come under heavy fire after the 3rd quarter update, and the investor report leaked out from the April meeting. Someone asked him this on Yahoo:

"I also suggested BrLP partner with heavy industry...but that's not on their agenda either. Why not?"

    This was his answer:

"We spent millions on business development. We go it alone because we have to. This technology would not exist, but for one company fighting for it alone. Worse yet it had to fight against many adversaries to survive to invent the hydrino power source. We have had patents pulled, articles pulled even at the printing stage, harassment and blackballing from government, media, and the power industry."

While some of that may be true, BrLP/BLP 's history shows power companies, and investors representing big industries, have been some of their major source of funding over the years. Even the government in the way of NASA, has worked with him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brilliant_Light_Power Seems to me he is playing the David vs Goliath card, which IMO is a lame excuse for where he is now. It may also be a sign of desperation.

Obviously, with his, and Columbia Tech's inability to get the Suncell running, he can not use it to go knocking on GE's doors asking to partner up. But if the older CIHT technology worked as well, and dependably as he claimed it did; why not pull it out of moth balls, and use it to attract a partner?

Why not a sign of dishonesty? Long-standing self-delusion and/or dishonesty? Why do some people have such a hard time considering those when discussing putative new sources of energy? As often as not, that's all there is to claims for novel sources of energy that seem to violate established physics, whatever that is.

    SOT,

Last year I started pointing out examples of Mills saying things that he had to have known were not correct. One in particular was an interview he did 15 months ago, where he said in 2 months he would have the Suncell PVC out. Is that "dishonest"? It may be to those like yourself, but others may consider it a case of over-optimism. So far, as far as I am concerned Mills behavior has not risen to the flagrant deceitfulness of a Rossi, or Defkalion. The day it does, is the day I will start using stronger words about him.
