Even Cassarino acknowledged in his depo, that without his signature, it was not the GPT. Oddly, he then went on throughout the rest of his depo talking as if Doral were the GPT. He even considered suing IH for his part of the $89 mil, after it was over. Contradictory I know.

That is not an issue with modern robotic mass production and control technology. There are 51,000 fuel rods and 18 million pellets in a ~1 GW fission reactor. However, the large number of components is not a problem.

Given the evidence on the docket, there is no question in my mind that Rossi is a lying con man, and that he has no LENR+ IP of any kind. So it's kind of painful to see him get away with it.
But, it's not my money - IH gets to foot the bill for their own lack of due diligence. I guess there is some justice in that.

Though I see now that these terms are as presented by Rossi to Lewan. So I'm putting my Quatloos in escrow until there is a statement from both sides that provides the terms.

For the record my belief, based on available facts, is that Signor Rossi has nothing of value - hence the license is of no value. NO-ONE will be commercialising or using any form of Signor Rossi's flimflam any time before the sun expands and cooks the planet.
What is amusing is that the supporters of Signor Rossi will make up ever more inventive excuses for non-performance, and still believe everything he says, without question. I look forward to the further development of this art form.

Maybe an equally good question is why IH was willing to walk away from what Rossi claims is a world changing technology? They not only gave all the IP back to Rossi, but it sounds like they are not even licensee's anymore in the North American market. Sounds to me they have not the slightest doubt there is nothing to hold onto.
Darden was in danger of having to shell out 89M (x3) and chose the minor of the evils. Now he has nothing in his hand and he has paid 11.5M for something that has returned to Rossi. I think Darden should have several doubts .....
I am not bitter. As I wrote here, I was relieved that the trial ended with a settlement, because I feared that rogue jury might award Rossi $267 million. There wasn't much for I.H. to win, because Rossi must have spent much of the $10 million on lawyers. I hope he spent most of it.
It is possible law enforcement authorities will now take the case, and arrest and eventually imprison Rossi for fraud. I do not know how likely that is, but he deserves it, and I hope it happens.

Prematurely?!? What is that supposed to mean? Rossi's fake Penon report has been out for months, and I saw some of the data before it came out. Anyone with an ounce of common sense who looks at the data can see that Rossi is a flaming fraud. That judgement isn't premature; it should have been made as soon as the data was revealed.
Did you even read the report, or any of the technical depositions? Rossi did not address a single one of the technical objections, except by inventing the invisible impossible mezzanine heat exchanger. If you believe that was real, you are battier than I gave you credit for.

I just knew you would make a negative assessment as your strong bias has been visible since you started. It is quite possible that IH's case was so weak they were afraid of being charged more than $89 million for failure to comply with the contract.

Actually, Erik W. admitted that if Rossi got the license back from IH, he would conclude that IH perceived themselves to be in a weak position. I think Erik was spot on, at least in that part of his prediction.
