In the process described by Holmlid, alkali atoms help this process. They form Rydberg matter clusters more easily and can interact with the hydrogen atoms on the surface. Once H atoms attach to the alkali Rydberg matter formed, becoming themselves Rydberg matter, they remain separated and do not recombine to H2.

So the patent ha doble been granted in Sweden and rejected by the EP and the USPTO, remains in process in Japan, Korea and China, and also is filed at the WIPO, albeit with the rejection of the EP the possibility of getting a WIPO grant are slim.

It's a "non-final rejection" so the application is far from dead as yet.

"the possibility of getting a WIPO grant are slim" - WIPO doesn't grant patents, so the possibility is NIL.

The EP is dead as he didn't reply to the Office.

This paper from 1989, well explains, how, at least electric discharges generated by D released from Pd , should be able to ionize enough D to carry a current.. For example, only 0.1 to 1% atoms in a classic cold plasma are enough to carry 90% of the plasma current.

This seems to come from the patent examiner. It shows he is not satisfied with the fact that Holmlid indicated that UDH/UDD has been reproduced by Zeiner-Gundersen (Norway) and Sveinn Ólafsson (Island).

in fact, i've always been too dumb with websites and i have trouble finding the good threads i want on LF..

This previous paper I found simply highlights the high electrical potentials to explain Lenr.

This is in fact very related, to all experiments in discharges, also I remember this Indian paper related a few ICCF ago, which spoke of intense transmutations in electric furnaces of steelworks with iron and silicon.

I explained to Frank Gordon he should use his equipped workshop to stick piezoactuators to a deposited Pd layer previously D loaded, so he could become one more star in the field.

Yes, this is a way to consider this business now by a deeper look we should consider interesting a kind of mix between melted iron, a melted semi conductor and strong discharges.
