but calculations may be necessary until then.

Too bad that this theory and experimental data was not taken seriously 5 years ago. The long story short, the LENR community deserves what they have gotten. Notice that the QX uses the same Defkalion reaction activation mechanism.

but you have to remember that the magnets are only the size of atoms.
its a numbers game.. how many are magnetised......and for how long.... if 1 out of every 1 billion atoms in one gram of silver
that's still 6 x10(12) .... more data required...... perhaps within 30 months?

It is indeed the problem, and axil knows very well that Kim never actually visited Defkalion as we have had this discussion several times over the years. The magnetic forces may indeed be very great, but you have to remember that the magnets are only the size of atoms.
I notice that when you make statements, there never seems to be any backup references.Maybe can can help out again.

'looking for heat' was an equipment provider that produced many videos about LENR, some with very respectable viewing figures, sadly the company is now closed so there will never be a demo. It closed because I no longer have time to operate it properly. Ecalox (its successor) is an R&D lab that does give demos, but only to invited guests.

SAFIRE, the SunCell, QX/SK and Defkalion are all electrical discharge driven systems. It is valuable to compare these systems that belong to the same family to understand the common mechanisms of activation.
If we zoom down into these systems functionally, we will see a common mechanism of action and causation. Even LENR active bugs have a common cause if we look into each of them deep enough.
For example, the Russ system and Defkalion both show a magnetic causation mechanism.

I think one thing our readers should keep in mind, is that The Safire Project is not about LENR. They were pursuing empirical data from their highly engineered, state of the art, plasma discharge chamber when they stumbled upon something highly interesting, and unusual, that supported what LENR researchers have observed.
That is why Axil first brought them to our attention by creating this thread, and why Safire subsequently made an appearance at ICCF21 a few months ago.

Thx RB, I missed that one video by Michael Clarage...one of Safire's two main architects. That should be on the Discovery Channel. Very inspirational, and thought provoking, without being overly technical.

Trusted may not be free, paying can make them untrustworthy to many, extraordinary things if you need to pay bills~ We all have bills to pay.

So what is the over-view now of all things LENR? Looks like we're all back to the drawing board if even Rossi is now admitting to gamma radiation release from his reactors, which would put domestic commercialization back about ten years without heavy lead screening etc. EMC testing would never pass such hazardous devices and scaling up to the 20 kW SK must make the radiation problem far worse! So maybe power-station sized, gamma or neutron shielded, MW LENR reactors are the only viable solution, which is disappointing because we all thought LENR would de-centralize power production. Still, the success of the Safire project in demonstrating LENR in their spherical discharge reactor suggests the way ahead would be replication of this by a dedicated LENR team. Or use a PULVA1 type reactor which have been used to study dusty or complex plasmas. This would allow studying LENR purely in the plasma phase-catalytic nano-powders of Ni Pd Ti Li or C being suspended in the plasma with ionized H or D with other known catalysts He or HOH etc. Well you might think R.Mills has already done this type of experiment, but I suspect he has only looked at zapping systems ie only non-steady state whereas a steady-state plasma study might be better for energy production. Or maybe someone with a tokamak has tried adding in LENR catalysts to their precious deuterium-tritium plasmas? Unlikely, though a desperate commercial outfit might give it a go!
