Greenyer got plenty of air time at ICCF21. Some of his questions were good and some made him look & sound foolish. He ran his presentations every afternoon

of the poster sessions and even on the remaining mountain top bus while the rangers were searching for the missing David French. The Parkomov 1700C transmutation video / claims are interesting but the record remains - nothing has ever worked in his lab when outside visitors are in attendance. We'll see if that changes.

Frank Gordon, formerly of NRL, filled the only open slot that I was aware of while Ruby got a promo snippet moment as well. Greenyer is a smart gent but his O'day fundraising antics have severely impaired his credibility with the field. He did get his own MFMP video moment at the end of Forsley's presentation on Friday. The debate is still on as to whether that was a visionary at work moment or a comedic slice of the jugular. One thing is for sure after this conference - Rossi is a forgotten speck in the rear view mirror of time .

I'm curious. whose jugular is being sliced, and if it is being sliced, why is it being sliced?

Axil - that is up for debate. The video snippet played by Forsley at the end of his hybrid reactor project intro with NASA featured Back to the Future's Mr. Fusion with a beer can followed by some MFMP team members (at the time) pounding beers in Korea and with Greenyer getting bothered that someone had taken his beer provided that I interpreted correctly. Forsley has a wicked sense of humor and is possibly still howling over this end of conference tagging.

Me? Do you mean I make the rules? No, I do not. I have no influence. The rules I refer to are informal but they are followed in every academic conference. If Greenyer wanted to give a presentation or poster session he should have submitted an abstract. As someone said above, he wasn't sure he could attend, so he did not submit an abstract. That's reasonable. I wouldn't go to the trouble to write an abstract, presentation and poster if I wasn't sure I could make it. It is a lot of work.

(I know what I am talking about here. I have presented papers in previous conferences but I did not this time, because it is too much work. I was dragooned into presenting Mizuno's paper at the last minute and it was a heck of a lot of work.)

Correct. December 2017. It is a shame. I was going to report that tomorrow. I talked to Dennis Pease, who worked there. He hopes to continue the work. He says they got positive results last year, but then the results faded away in the last months so they had to close.

If BG disagrees, he is more than welcome to reply here. He has an open invitation to LF, and we would love to have him become a regular. A little tougher place than ECW, but that is actually good for LENR.

That's lovely as long as the lesson of Rossi is kept in mind when considering future proposals, test results, and demonstrations and not just Rossi's. There were other "Rossi's" before him and they were just as flagrant in other energy ventures and in business and finance. Yet, Rossi was well funded without competent testing before and during the work. His work was done with minimal or insufficient oversight. Worse yet, he was essentially allowed to judge his own results and be his own customer for the better part of a year!

7of20 - not quite. After the empty reactor with a COP of 8 incident, R was allowed to run enough rope out during that one year to effectively end his career as a cold-fusioneer. We didn't think that he would actually litigate with all the data and facts stacked against him but the guy's audacity is beyond compare. He is quite good at what he does.

Have you ever been to a physics conference? You talk as if assigning a time slot to talk gives a person awesome power. As if everyone in the conference listens to the speaker. It isn't like that. Half the people are out in the hall gabbing or exchanging notes and papers. Many others are in the meeting hall but they are looking at iPhones or computers and paying no attention. People wander in and out. Many have no idea what the speaker is talking about, and no interest. After lunch, after a coffee break, or during a theory session the hall is half empty.

So even if I had some power to deny Greenyer a presentation slot, I would hardly be "dispatching" him to a "dust bin."

I do not recall whether he even put up a poster. If he didn't, then he himself did not bother to take the opportunity to tell people about his work. A poster can reach as many people as a speaking slot. A poster plus schmoozing in the hallway can reach more than a speaking slot.

By Rossi's OWN actions, he has removed any faith I had that he is legit. By his OWN actions, he has proved many times to be a liar and con.

I cannot understand what this obsession with Rossi is all about. I don't remember him even saying that his reactors were LENR reactors. Rossi does not know what LENR is. There are bigger and more sinister con men out there to obsess about. Theranos, a blood-testing startup that's been valued at $9 billion is an example of a more sinister con.

Could it be that if Rossi was not constantly criticized, then there would be nothing to talk about. Just let Rossi fade into history. Find something interesting to occupy the forum.

Do you constantly have disturbing uncontrollable thoughts? Do you feel the urge to repeat the same behaviors or rituals over and over and over and over and over ? ... Your doctor may refer you to a mental health specialist. Enough is enough.

Rossi told me this is LENR. If it were real, it would resemble Ni-H cold fusion claims such as Piantelli's.

But anyway, why are you of all people saying this? As far as I know you believe Rossi. You are a supporter. As I recall, you are such a fanatical supporter, you refuse to read Rossi's own Penon report, I suppose because you cannot face facts and see your hero Rossi as he really is.

Don't you remember that you almost got me banned from Vortex because of my criticism of Rossi? I if wasn't for some friendly support, I would be out of LENR.
