ICCF21 Thread

Bob did however do a great informal presentation on one of the Rocky Mountains tour buses on the latest MFMP test run, after the mysterious disappearance of a certain conference member... ...who was later found safely....

    Simon,

I thought I had seen your name before, when I posted this the other day: Clearance Items Post #2637

So anything happening with your http://subtleatomics.com/ ?

    Hi Shane,

Currently allocating limited time to working on a few things:

    - unification of dense hydrogen, below ground state hydrogen and LENR theory,

    - super fast LENR

    - experimental confirmation of LESNR (low energy sub-nuclear reactions)

    - new technologies for nuclear waste remediation

    - a meson based subatomic model

    - alpha based nucleus structures

    - designs for continuous process systems

    - publication/s

Plenty of potential, but still need to secure investment.

    Simon,

You have your hands full with that list. Especially in unifying Holmid/Mills/FP's. You mentioned attending ICCF21 also...can you tell me if others you talked with, were receptive to, or studying your areas of focus? Anything else there in Boulder that you heard, have a lasting impact on you?

Also, I see you are seeking investment. What is your general opinion on getting that in this environment? Last year both Coolescence and SKINR shut down due to poor results, and their funding drying up. Then you have the Rossi situation, which at the least would make any potential investors leery. Only new money in the field that I know of is IH. Have you contacted them? If you have something solid, there may even be someone reading LF right now that may be interested.

Thank you for your thoughts, keep us updated on your progress, and good luck!

  • Simon,

You have your hands full with that list. ....

    Thanks for the support Shane,

Re: unifying Holmid/Mills/FP's - Done. I'm proposing that this can be done by a new modification to the Rydberg model. Presented an early version at ICCF21. Hopefully soon to be published.

Re: ICCF21... if others you talked with, were receptive - Lots of interest, but plenty of other theories on the table as well.

Re: ICCF21 other good stuff - dense hydrogen, new nuclear remediation technologies, chemical LENR, new models for where all that theoretical excess heat goes to, industrial scale LENR, sub-nuclear reactions...

Re: Investment. - If you have a genuine product with a comprehensive low risk high gain financial business case, and you can sell yourself, you're going to get interest. The biggest current problems for LENR are patent issues and marginal products. Going to need a big player to commercialise without patents to be able to just simply stay ahead of the game, but unlikely to get this type of investment unless you have something that really works well, or you have a pretty good idea what's actually going on, which very few can claim ...

Re: IH. They were at ICCF21. Had a very brief chat. Seem to have a few $ to fund smaller projects in exchange for IP rights.

    :) SB

  • I thought Dewey has been very positive lately, but not 357% positive! Something must be up in LENR land? This good news puts the $20 million, or so, IH lost on Rossi in perspective.

BTW: Does anyone have an ICCF21 photo of the "IH Team"? I know they took one, but I have not seen it yet.

you can find photos of the conference here: https://www.iccf21.com/

and specifically the IH "team" here: https://www.iccf21.com/fullscr…q1c0%26s%3Dstyle-jm7sxve5

  • not sure how all is on the "team". I do know they have funded quit a few others. At ICCF I did notice Fran T. and JeanPaul B mentioning IH but I don't think they are part of "the team".

The thing I wondered about was Tex. Tech. Their whole "team" left after the first day. I wonder what was happening. Rumors where they were having problem to get any thing really going but had some transmutation event. They were very silent about their activities. They had a lot of young folks their but I got the impression that they didn't really have a grasp on the history and old methods.

Young people these days rely to much on Google searches and don't seem to "interact" at the personal level. You can learn a lot by talking and listening- networking..... that art seems to be going away.

Infinite Energy have published an article by David J. Nagel and Steven B. Katinsky

Overview of the 21st International Conference on Condensed Matter Nuclear Science
    http://infinite-energy.com/iemagazine/issue141/ICCF21.pdf

By the way, ICCF22 will be in Italy in September 2019.

    Quote

    ICCF22
The chairman and location, and sometimes the dates of the next conference, are decided at each ICCF by the International Advisory Committee (IAC). That group is made up of the past Chairmen and Co-Chairmen of a conference in this series. The IAC met on the evening of June 6to consider a proposal from Bill Collis to hold ICCF22 at Lake Bled in Slovenia in the fall of 2019. That proposal was accepted. Subsequently, Bill Collis determined that the conference could be held in Assisi, Italy, at a more favorable cost. The IAC concurred with this possibility. So, ICCF22 is slated to occur in the center of Assisi during September 8-13, 2019. The location will be the Hotel Domus Pacis.34

I always look forward to Dr. Nagel's ICCF summaries. This is another good one. Most of what he said has been covered before, but I do not recall ever hearing the reason why Celani first started working with Contantan. Now I know:

The specific program, which began in 2011, is focused on

the study of Constantan, an alloy of Copper and Nickel

(Cu55Ni44Mn1), instead of metals such as Pd, Ni and Ti that

have been widely studied by other scientists. Celani cited the

reasons for their interest in Constantan. It started with the

idea that the “real and main catalyst or initiator” of the reaction with gaseous hydrogen was the thermocouple inserted

within the Ni nano-powders, and not the Ni itself. They

referred to the J-type (Fe-Constantan) thermocouple, particularly suitable for the temperature range of most experiments (<750°C). Furthermore, they had reason to believe

that these thermocouples could be partially damaged after

several tests, leading to activation of its surface. That led to

the view that the insulating and protective material covering

the thermocouple (a kind of glass) may contribute to the

observed phenomena. They learned that Cu-Ni alloys, such

as Constantan, may provide a large energy for the catalytic

dissociation of hydrogen from the molecular to the atomic

state. The value of energy is as large as 2 - 3 eV, in comparison to the most used material, i.e., Pd, which provides only

0.424 eV from H2 disassociation. They chose to use

Constantan in the form of long and thin wires, treated with

high peak power electric pulses, in order to obtain a submicrometric surface texture of Constantan, SrO, FexOy, K

Celani has produced consistently good results. MFMP confirmed those results.

Good video of Brian Roarty from ICCF21. Very good presentation, and high informational value:

Closed my eyes and let my finger decide who first to listen to. It fell on one of our own members Simon Brinks. What a coincidence! Great presentation Simon:
