I'm glad they agree with me about the need for this.

I hope they also use refined blanks/controls which rule out any effect of injecting significant power in the form of signals with spikey waveforms (their "Q pulse" or whatever) on instrumentation.

A working boiler would be nice considering how long it has been discussed by Brillouin.

the Brillouin COP of 2.7 so far has cost a few years and a few millions

but is better than ITER's COP of <zero

after more than a few years and more than a few millions.

They need to scale up to larger reactor cores and use a 1:7 Cu/Ni alloy mix and possibly use ZrO2 instead of Al2O3 judging from Takahashi group's recent work using 1 Kg reactor core which released an initial transient 3 kW power. Worth a try maybe?

Australia has a few atoms of these, not just China.

Validation of the results is of course the goal. But validation through total replication seems dangerous from a business standpoint.

Only if you have not applied for a patent. If you have applied for a patent, assuming this is a real discovery and it is a valid application, you will be widely replicated after the application is made public. That happens before the patent is granted (if ever). So you might as well help people replicate now. There are benefits to having people replicate. They confirm your claims. There is a problem, too. They may start intensive research and find ways to improve the device before you do. But you will not lose the original intellectual property.
