  • Who knows what goes on with these guys- Actually Alexander Parkhomov is still working, we are in touch. Hrisamovitch is apparently working somewhere in Turkey. The big trouble tends to be money related- somebody pays for a lab to get set up - and it runs for a while until the cash is gone and the shutters come down. It's very hard to get sustained investments from serious investors.

understood. could be a story to ask.. looked like a promising set up imo.

  • Breakthrough in solving the problem of liquid radioactive waste

    Vladimir Balakirev , Valery Krymsky , April 11, 2019

powerful nanosecond electromagnetic pulses can significantly and in a short time reduce the activity of large volume solutions.

The proposed design of a flow-type installation allows for a relatively simple increase in the volume of the treated solution to 50-100 l / min.

    More details of the effects of NEMI on 90 Sr , 137 Cs , 238 Pu , 226 Ra , 235 U , 232 Th and 40 K radionuclides are given in our book [1].

    "

For irradiation, a generator with a pulse amplitude of 15 kV and a repetition frequency of 1 kHz was used. Processing speed 2.1 l / min.

The passage of the solution through the installation of 2 minutes

They claim that linear acceleration causes a torque. They illustrate this using elastic to catapult a metal disc along a wire and claim this causes the disc to rotate 100 degrees over a short distance. That's a pretty dramatic effect.

If that were the case i would expect the very rapid acceleration of a bullet in a gun to cause the bullet to spin dramatically without need for rifling. Wouldn't we have noticed such an effect?

Ditto when launching a rocket or similar missile. Do we have to counter a spin caused by the rapid acceleration? I don't think so.

Zatelepin seems to be drawing attention recently on the forum. Here is his Sochi presentation (slides with caption of what he said) with help from BG.

My favourite part of it is observation of micro resonating discharges in the nickel powders. He claimed that they had decent calorimetry and were registering excess heat in single percentage but never when heating with chemical heat i.e fire. Only when using electricity in some way. He claims that resonating discharges are a factor.

He touches briefly theory of Barut - Vigier ion to explain transmutations.

If somebody believes Zatelepin is supporting Rossi. It appears to me that general mood in Russian lenr community is such that they publicly endorse Rossi and demand more money for research but especially recently starting to make cautious reservations about the very convincing things Rossi did.

If you skip first ten minutes where they discuss inferiority if English language compared to Russian, topic very popular among those who don't speak English and especially heavy drinkers, you will see the presentation of INLIS r&f lab.

I must note that Zatelepin made a suggestion that language debate is not as straightforward bas might seem. For which he earned points with me.

Zatelepin says point out 3 major achievements:

    1. Discovery of rotation during acceleration. This covered in BG video

    2. Dark hydrogen confirmation. I suspect that it hydryino like.

    3. Heating of metal reactor cores due to resonating 10 power 10-12 frequency micro plasmoids. This is covered in Zatelepin Sochi slides.

On 51m Zatelepin goes over his presentation on Rossi's last show. He shows pictures where Zatelepin visited Defkalion in 2012.

For the recent Rossi demo, Zatelepin notes huge departure from previous approach where no more powders are used, no word on hydrogen usage, temperatures and cop are orders higher etc.

His concludes that there is ultra hight frequency process involved if which Rossi says nothing.

Zatelepin questions methodology of emissivity determination and therefore temperature calculation.

Approx on one hour, he shows correct schematics of the reactor with added resonant component.

  • Critical mass of pure uranium-235 will have a mass of 52 kg and will experience around 15 spontaneous fission events per second - so what would be the critical mass of a Ti-D fusion reaction producing 180 measured neutrons/s ? Assuming linearity simply 52.15/180 = 8.3 Kg - a far higher mass than has ever been tested experimentally. Explains why excess heat claims have been unreliable as according to Zatelepin ie having to boost input EM energy to obtain any effect at all. Maybe in small samples of Ti-D laser or electrical stimulation boosts neutron bursts to 10,000 per second reducing the effective critical mass to 52.15/10,000 or only 7.8 g for brief periods for transmutation reactions to occur.

True, fission is a different process to fusion but all nuclear processes must be governed by the same basic physical laws. All I'm trying to establish is to what extent the concept of critical mass which is crucial to fission might also be applicable to cold fusion experiments. There are clear similarities ie one fission cycle multiplies one neutron to 2-3 fold whilst one fusion cycle may release 2 neutrons - so under the right conditions both are capable of runaway chain reactions dependent on critical mass or density. Certainly works on the Sun where a critical fusion density results from high gravitational compression of the hydrogen plasma to form He, neutrons and gamma rays. There is ample evidence for LENR occurring but a sustained high energy reactor system has never been developed using Kg masses of NiH or TiD. Why do we expect kW of excess energy from say 100g cold fusion reactor cores when we know for sure 100g of U235 alone would release a steady cold radiation but be so below critical mass to produce any heat?
