NFE Chairman of the Board has been indisposed due to cancer surgery and have reduced
working capacity
• NFE has received two large claims against the company:
• An immediate closing of a loan from Professor Leif Holmlid of NOK 122’ from
February 2020.
• A claim for SEK 388’ from The University of Gothenburg related to significant parts of
the lab equipment belonging to The University of Gothenburg, not returned from
NFE as requested and agreed. The documented claim has not been disputed or
answered by the resources borrowing and using the equipment on behalf of NFE.
• Closing of rental agreement by Norrønt AS for lab room at Slemmestad.
It always sad that a big team must stop.
Now, if we keep our cold thoughts, if really they had found something interesting they could have continued to be funded and so it's no longer the case.
Iwamura is financed again for example or when Focardi's passed away, Rossi continued..
Too bad for hyper dense hydrogen supporters.
claim for SEK 388’
Its a pity that Gothenburg U does not seem to have included a gamma spectrophotometer,,
TOF has limitations
This is outrageous that the Norwegians are closing down Norront Fusion, hopefully Sindre will carry on the research on a shoe-string like the rest of us. I guess Leif Holmlid will be depressed by this move as is the case that mainline physicists and nuclear engineers have never recognised or believed any of his academic research papers. But the evidence is out there as they used to say at the end of the X-files!
Not so nice - who is using the lab equipment?
The NFE equipment formed a setup similar to that of the university of Reykjavik, Iceland and will probably be returned to the university of Gothenburg or their spin-off company (GU Ventures AB) which was a major shareholder of NFE.
See also this LF thread.
It would make sense that research is continued at the university of Gothenburg and keep a cooperation with the university of Reykjavik (Sveinn Olafsson). Budget for 2022 may depend on the 2021 findings of Sveinn.
Worth keeping an eye on.
