In 2007, an application to the Russian Foundation for Basic Research for a joint project with the State Natural Science Foundation of China (SFEN) "Modeling by molecular dynamics methods of the behavior of deuterium atoms during saturation of thin palladium tubes No. 07-02-92100-GFEN_а" Professor Li XZ received support and worked on this joint project for three years.

    In 2015-16 he tried to open the Scientific Laboratory "LOW ENERGY NUCLEAR REACTIONS (LENR)" at the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg - to no avail.

    Vladimir Stepanovich Afanasyev was born on August 15, 1938.

    Since 2000 - General Director - Chief Designer of STC TEROS-MEPhI.

    Honored Designer of the Russian Federation. Inventor of the USSR. Academician of the International Academy of Social Sciences.

    Has 76 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.

    The most significant invention concerns the design of a descent vehicle to the surface of Venus (1969).

    Author of the hydro-wave technology for water purification of various degrees of pollution (15 patents).

    Candidate Master of Sports in Chess.

    He died on April 11, 2015.

    Do you know if Lawrence Forsley worked around any early cold fusion researchers while visiting in Leningrad. He may have been involved with Forth Code for instrumentation and data collection in nuclear physics at the Soviet Acadamy of Science or involved with early CF Research there.
