Are the neutrons leaking into our universe from another?

  • Are the neutrons leaking into our universe from another? Original study, followup of ArxivBlog and recent one at New Scientist (open access).

This is just another example of breaktrough observation, which has been done already by accident. It's rather difficult to assume, that the heavy particles like the neutrons could be a subject of quantum oscillations as a whole or even that they could completely evaporate from out sight. But the problem is somewhere else: because the neutrons lack the electric charge, their detection relies on presence of weak charge only, which could be a subject of oscillations inside of neutrons in similar way like a the case of neutrinos at free cosmic space. I.e. it's not a neutron what does oscillate here, but the weak charge inside of it. It should be noted, that the ultracold neutrons are surprisingly well reflected with 58-Ni isotope, which could have a close relation to the cold fusion mechanism, proposed by Widom-Larsen theory. The size/density of nickel atoms may be tuned in such a way, the volume waves of electron orbital resonate with surface waves of atom nuclei (there is strong isotopic effect for neutron optical potential).

Regarding the brane world hypothesis, I don't see any reason why not to consider the common oscillations of neutrinos or even decoherence of photons and quantum oscillations as a whole as the evidence of it.

  • Scientists are searching for a mirror universe. It could be sitting right in front of you.  Mirror universe would have radiative and thermodynamic time arrow reverse - and after then just the antigravity and overunity devices (all these profaned Nicola Tesla technologies for example) would be just a manifestation of this mirror universe. Let the readers decide, if scientists are really looking for something like this - or merely boycotting all evidence of it. See also:

No, we will not open a portal to a parallel universe Sabine Hossenfelder is proponent of quantum gravity approach dual to string theory and as such ideological opponents of extradimensions and multiverse models.

  • Let the readers decide,

The scientists are attempting to explain neutron behaviour which is anomalous in SM theory using a mirror universe.

They will probably find that the mirror universe hypothesis is not supported.

Then they will seek another hypothesis which does not challenge SM itself

    and another

and another... depending on how long the research grants are forthcoming.

  • The mirror universe is still here, but inside the neutrons, where neutrino oscillate. The cases of radioactive decays affected by seasonal dark matter and neutrino wobble may fall into this territory too. Litvinov and colleagues1 observe decay-rate oscillations with a period of about 7 seconds, here for decays of promethium-142 through electron capture, but similarly for praesodymium-140 — a phenomenon they attribute to the effect of neutrino oscillations.
