Covid-19 News

  • Such things are a disgrace when America describes itself as 'the richest country in the world' . As an obnoxious teenager in the 1960's (when we had a functioning and fairly adequate welfare system) I had a stand-up row with a prestigious Yale Professor who started preaching to me about poverty in the UK. I said to him 'at least everybody here gets to eat and a roof over their head'. But thanks to the influence of unbridled capitalist libertarianism that is no longer the case. We have food banks, hungry people, homelessness, inadequate wages and structural unemployment . It is truly shameful.

I agree but other factors are involved with the descrepencies in infection rates in people of color that can't be dismissed. Take a look at this study from 2012. I dont think much has changed

Prevalence of Vitamin D Deficiency and Associated Risk Factors in the US Population (2011-2012)

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/p…0a,%25-71.7%25)%20%5B3%5D.

According to data collected between 2005 and 2006 by the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), insufficient vitamin D levels were found in 41.6% of the 4495-individual sample size. Race was identified as a significant risk factor, with African-American adults having the highest prevalence rate of vitamin D deficiency (82.1%, 95% CI, 76.5%-86.5%) followed by Hispanic adults (62.9%; 95% CI, 53.2%-71.7%) [3]. Additional risk factors for vitamin D deficiency that were identified included obesity, lack of college education, and lack of daily milk consumption [3].

  • You did read Spiegel at the wrong time. There are still 240 beds free... But for clicks everything gets published by deeply unskilled reporters, not able to make a second query...

The true figure is on top of the page: https://www.srf.ch/

Of course these beds are mostly used by non CoV-19 patients...Details after the link.

  • The mutagenic and antimutagenic activity of Sutherlandia frutescens extracts and marker compounds

This is a link to recently published study's. Sutherlandia is very interesting. Thanks Wyttenbach this needs more digging into.

    https://link.springer.com/arti…06-018-2159-z/peer-review

    Background

Sutherlandia frutescens (L.) R. Br is endemic to Southern Africa where it has been traditionally used for cancer and diabetes. In recent times it has been marketed for its reputed (but not proven) anticancer, antidiabetic and anti-HIV properties. Little is known about the mutagenic and antimutagenic potential of extracts and common marker compounds of Sutherlandia frutescens. Therefore this study aimed to investigate the putative efficacy and possible long-term adverse effects of using this herb.

  • Coronavirus: WHO sets rules for testing African herbal remedies

    https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-54225118

World Health Organization (WHO) has agreed rules for the testing of African herbal remedies to fight Covid-19.

Sound science would be the sole basis for safe and effective traditional therapies to be adopted, it said.

Any traditional remedies that are judged effective could be fast-tracked for large-scale manufacturing.

Madagascar's leader has been promoting an untested product he says can cure the disease despite the WHO warning against using untested remedies.

The WHO said the new rules were aimed at helping and empowering scientists in Africa to conduct proper clinical trials.

Your are a pretty unskilled Rotary spin loudspeaker. By citing a rotary mafia board trying to spread fear you definitely unmask your origin.

What these people did: Summing up all people in ICU and looking up the number of certifications and yes the two numbers are equal.

But here still certified beds are free because for CoV-19 patients you do not at all need certified beds for at least 50% of them.

I hope you understand the tiny difference between an organ transplantation and a simple 24 hour respirator support.

  • I encourage everyone from the UK to listen to one of your own. Dr. Hodkinson was trained at Cambridge University in the UK. He is ex-president of the pathology section of the Medical Association. He was the chairman of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada Examination Committee and Pathology in Ottawa, Canada.

He is an exec for a company that makes Covid tests so he knows a thing or two about this.

The bottom line is simply this: There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. It’s outrageous. This is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to contain this virus. Other than protecting older, more vulnerable people. It should be thought of as nothing more than a bad flu season. This is not Ebola. It’s not SARS. It’s politics playing medicine and that’s a very dangerous game.

As you all know every lemming on this board and many other has fallen hook, line and sinker for a public messaging campaign, driven by their ability to see case counts from a severely flawed test, and death counts on people who are being abandoned, left vulnerable by healthcare nurses in fear, driven into fear away from medical care for serious illnesses like stroke and heart attack. Yes, and we still need HCQ and other treatments.

  • Is there anything you could think of that is not related to mafia, rotary clubs, criminal idiots, corrupt healthcare

I think the idiot falls back on you as I never use this term.

The whole directory (all chief doctors) of the big USZ center hospital of zurich and university are members of rotary or Freemason. This news is from the last one that was not and retired without corruption.

Well documented hobbies of Rotary doctors: Surgery on very large distance .e.g. from Hamburg in Zürich or charge an OP three times for people thet never attended. In our small town the folks were quite modest. The only, used the Gasoline card for the whole family clan...

As said as long as you cannot prove the opposite: I do think that you (as THH too) depend on them.

  • FLCCC IVERMECTIN protocoll

It is nice to see that they give serious advise. But prevention is only needed for things you can avoid by compensating things you are missing.

Thus most people just need V-D3 and a little zinc. Taking 50 mg Zinc over longer than 6 weeks is potentially dangerous. So prevention can not be done a live long or for months. Quercetin is no risk and helps if you don't eat enough brown onions.

Aspirin is only needed for people with potential coagulation risks, V-C has never shown more than a moderate 5-10% positive effect even in ultra high intravenous doses.

I would keep the Ivermectin for a real infection and then use a full suppressive dose of at least 4X daily dose to be repeated 2-3 times.

Just think: CoV-19 will stay for at least one more year...And Ivermectin is the most powerfull officailly antiviral drug.

The mutagenic and antimutagenic activity of Sutherlandia frutescens extracts and marker compounds

Sutherlandia can easily clean out CoV-19 as it is the only known herb with strong anti retro viral power.

It's is not mutagenic unless you do take extracts instead of herbs. Sutherlandia extracts are currently investigated in big pharma labs for potential new chemo...

Also powders (often sold out of Africa) are more risky than just the cut leaves & stems.

  • Effectiveness of Adding a Mask Recommendation to Other Public Health Measures to Prevent SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Danish Mask WearersFREE

    A Randomized Controlled Trial

    https://www.acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/M20-6817

The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection.

  • More people are getting COVID-19 twice, suggesting immunity wanes quickly in some

    https://www.sciencemag.org/new…munity-wanes-quickly-some

Even if it is, many labs don’t have the time or money to clinch the case. As a result, the number of genetically proven reinfections is orders of magnitude lower than that of suspected reinfections. The Netherlands alone has 50 such cases, Brazil 95, Sweden 150, Mexico 285, and Qatar at least 243.

  • The penalty is that cannot Go into any store

    Anywhere.

You can’t pick out your own produce, your own baked goods, your own deli selections.

That is not a penalty. That is your choice. It is exactly the same as what happens if you try to go into a grocery store with bare feet or no shirt, or if you smoke cigarettes in a grocery store. They toss you out. Grocery stores are private property and they have every right to set reasonable rules relating to public health. They do not want to endanger their customers. When you refuse to wear a mask, you endanger others.

It would only a penalty if it was levied by the government, or if the police arrested you. There are no penalties in any mask rules as far as I know. None in Georgia, anyway.

You can’t pick your fertilizer, your own snow shovel, your own Christmas lights etc.

You can't go into Lowes if you are buck naked either. Or drunk. So put on some clothes if you want to shop there. And put on a mask, too.

Frankly, you are a crybaby. A ninny. It is politically incorrect to say this, but you should man up and stop complaining about a minor inconvenience that will last only another 5 months, that is for your own benefit. It is a hell of a lot better than getting sick or dying.

  • There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. It’s outrageous. This is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public. There is absolutely nothing that can be done to contain this virus

So . . . why is the per capita number of cases thousands of times lower in Taiwan and Korea compared to the U.S, if nothing can be done? What they are doing is having no effect? The difference is a coincidence?

    This is utter nonsense.

  • So . . . why is the per capita number of cases thousands of times lower in Taiwan and Korea compared to the U.S, if nothing can be done? What they are doing is having no effect? The difference is a coincidence?

    This is utter nonsense.

There is nothing that can be done to contain this virus, something which the epidemiologists at Stanford agree with. It is out there in the millions. Yes, if we shut down society it may work over a long enough time -- like some dystopian movie coming to a screen near you soon (courtesy of CIA) - but lockdown like that is killing many already. The number of lockdown deaths at this time, is greater than the number of Covid deaths (when you subtract colds/flu from last year). We are seeing the result of our strategy, not the benefit of our strategy in the numbers.

  • According to the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, there is a strong correlation between the genome of the coronavirus in sewage and the number of cases in the population.

Assaying by PCR (or other methods of nucleic acid amplification) in wastewater is therefore a simple method of monitoring the progress or the regression of the epidemic.

Good new: the copy number by milliliter of water is declining now in Paris. (Red : copy number, blue : number of positive tests)

    "The Event 201 scenario

Event 201 simulates an outbreak of a novel zoonotic coronavirus transmitted from bats to pigs to people that eventually becomes efficiently transmissible from person to person, leading to a severe pandemic. The pathogen and the disease it causes are modeled largely on SARS, but it is more transmissible in the community setting by people with mild symptoms.

The disease starts in pig farms in Brazil, quietly and slowly at first, but then it starts to spread more rapidly in healthcare settings. When it starts to spread efficiently from person to person in the low-income, densely packed neighborhoods of some of the megacities in South America, the epidemic explodes. It is first exported by air travel to Portugal, the United States, and China and then to many other countries. Although at first some countries are able to control it, it continues to spread and be reintroduced, and eventually no country can maintain control.

There is no possibility of a vaccine being available in the first year. There is a fictional antiviral drug that can help the sick but not significantly limit spread of the disease.

Since the whole human population is susceptible, during the initial months of the pandemic, the cumulative number of cases increases exponentially, doubling every week. And as the cases and deaths accumulate, the economic and societal consequences become increasingly severe.

The scenario ends at the 18-month point, with 65 million deaths. The pandemic is beginning to slow due to the decreasing number of susceptible people. The pandemic will continue at some rate until there is an effective vaccine or until 80-90 % of the global population has been exposed. From that point on, it is likely to be an endemic childhood disease."
