Covid-19 News

  • Needless to say, when it causes strokes or amputations, the effects last a lifetime. No one knows yet whether the other effects will last for years or for a lifetime with some patients.

but it most probably won’t Jed.

There will always be extenuating circumstantial data that suggests all of your teeth will fall out, your body will start spinning off multiple blood clots, etc etc,

But.... with further research, these issues will probably be related to some other condition that was exasperated by sars.

Not everybody who is infected with Covid

    will experience these symptoms.

Covid hasn’t been in his country for what,

10 months now? Every single day we learn something new about it spread, treatment, infection path, recovery etc.

There are no experts on this yet, and there probably won’t be for many many years,

    just like Ebola.

Diligent relentless painstaking thorough experimental research will win the day, not hopeless scaremongering, so please, burn your certificate of “I believe” from CNN

    and give it a rest.

No one said they would. This is a strawman argument.

Mother of all HCQ meta-analysis: https://hcqmeta.com/

Not sure who is behind this website, but here is their summary:

Early treatment. 100% of early treatment studies
report a positive effect, with an estimated reduction of
    63% in the effect measured
(death, hospitalization, etc.) from the random effects meta-analysis, RR
    0.37
    [0.29-0.47].

Late treatment. Late treatment studies are
    mixed, with 73% showing positive
effects, and an estimated reduction of
    26% in the random effects
meta-analysis. Negative studies mostly fall into the following categories:
they show evidence of significant unadjusted confounding, including
confounding by indication; usage is extremely late; or they use an excessively
    high dosage.

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis. 79% of PrEP studies show positive
effects, with an estimated reduction of
    45% in the random effects
meta-analysis. Negative studies are all studies of systemic autoimmune disease
patients which either do not adjust for the different baseline risk of these
patients at all, or do not adjust for the highly variable risk within these
    patients.

Post-Exposure Prophylaxis. 100% of PEP studies report positive
effects, with an estimated reduction of
    36% in the random effects
    meta-analysis.

  • Covid-19 Likely in U.S. in Mid-December 2019, CDC Scientists Report

    https://www.wsj.com/amp/articl…ntists-report-11606782449

The new coronavirus infected people in the U.S. in mid-December 2019, a few weeks before it was officially identified in China and about a month earlier than public health authorities found the first U.S. case, according to a government study published Monday.

The findings significantly strengthen evidence suggesting the virus was spreading around the world well before public health authorities and researchers became aware, upending initial thinking about how early and quickly it emerged.

  • 3 Chinese scientists just said Covid came from India, Bangladesh. It’s politics, not science

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

The expedition in science to trace back ‘patient zero’ of Covid-19 has been largely unbiased, as opposed to the media and political class. The release of preprints — scientific manuscripts yet to be peer-reviewed and thus open to interpretation by the public that lacks the understanding to review science — has been at the centre of such biases. Preprints can be hyped, misunderstood or taken out of context to spread misinformation because quality checks by independent scientists are missing. Previously, two Chinese scientists were criticised for a conspiracy theory based on evidence-free assumptions that claimed the origins of the novel coronavirus as ‘lab-created’. Thorough genetic research published by The Lancet determined that the SARS-CoV-2 is closely related to the SARS-CoV-1 in its receptor binding sites, only to be distinct in some amino acid sequences, and therefore unlikely to be created through an unnatural lab process.

I took my son to be tested for COVID-19 during the Thanksgiving break. The experience was nightmarish: long lines, disorganization, confusion and ultimately a price tag of $159 for rapid test results that took four days. Nothing about the process worked.

This is America - a first-world country with a third-rate response to a pandemic that has been raging for close to a year. And COVID-19 is just the tip of the iceberg. America's public health capacity and its health care systems are melting like the Wicked Witch in "The Wizard of Oz."

  • NHS Free Vitamin D supply: The full list of people set to receive supplements this winter

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

More than 2.5 million vulnerable people across England will be offered the supplement.

All care homes will automatically receive a provision for their residents while individuals on the clinically extreme vulnerable list will be sent a letter inviting them to opt-in for a supply to be delivered straight to their home.

  • Covid-19: Lung damage 'identified' in study

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

The scans showed signs of lung damage - by highlighting areas where air is not flowing easily into the blood - in the eight who reported breathlessness.

The results have prompted Prof Gleeson to plan a trial of up to 100 people to see if the same is true of people who had not been admitted to hospital and had not suffered from such serious symptoms. He is planning to work with GPs to scan people who have tested positive for Covid-19 across a range of age groups.

Can Activation of NRF2 Be a Strategy against COVID-19?

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7359808/

Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) caused by SARS-CoV-2 is largely the result of a dysregulated host response, followed by damage to alveolar cells and lung fibrosis. Exacerbated proinflammatory cytokines release (cytokine storm) and loss of T lymphocytes (leukopenia) characterize the most aggressive presentation. We propose that a multifaceted anti-inflammatory strategy based on pharmacological activation of nuclear factor erythroid 2 p45-related factor 2 (NRF2) can be deployed against the virus. The strategy provides robust cytoprotection by restoring redox and protein homeostasis, promoting resolution of inflammation, and facilitating repair. NRF2 activators such as sulforaphane and bardoxolone methyl are already in clinical trials. The safety and efficacy information of these modulators in humans, together with their well-documented cytoprotective and anti-inflammatory effects in preclinical models, highlight the potential of this armamentarium for deployment to the battlefield against COVID-19.

  • Synergistic Mediation of Sulforaphane and Vitamin D on the Wnt-signaling Pathway

    http://www.jnsci.org/content/36

Colorectal cancer is a leading cause of death in The United States. Research suggests that colorectal cancer is strongly associated with aberrant expression of the Wnt-signaling pathway. Sulforaphane (SFN) is a bioactive component found in broccoli and is a histone deacetylase inhibitor that may play a role in regulation of the Wnt-signaling pathway. Binding of vitamin D to its receptor activates the vitamin D receptor element, which in turn enhances recruitment of histone acetylation factors. The present study investigated the synergistic effect of SFN and vitamin D on the Wnt-signaling pathway. We hypothesized that synergistic treatment using both compounds would show greater down-regulation of the Wnt-signaling pathway than treatment with either compound on its own. Caco-2 cells were harvested using treatments of various concentrations of SFN supplemented with and without vitamin D. Histone deacetylase inhibitor TSA was used as a positive control. RNA was isolated from cells and used to prepare cDNA. Quantitative real-time PCR was performed to assess expression of Wnt-pathway targeting genes Axin2, Cyclin D1, and C-Myc relative to the expression of housekeeping gene GAPDH. Our results reveal a trend indicating that as vitamin D treatment is supplemented with increasing concentrations of SFN, expression of Wnt-pathway-related genes is increasingly repressed. These findings represent preliminary data that warrant further investigation of SFN and vitamin D epigenetic regulation of the Wnt-signaling pathway. Journal of Nature and Science, 1(2):e36, 2015.

That's what big pharma like to see. People willing to pay with their living money: Big pharma expected return-cash in 80'000'000'000$ for vaccines the same amount for testing + the same amount for test handling + the same amount for doctors =320'000'000'000 in total for the medical mafia for 1 year.

Just buy some Nigella Sativa or Sutherlandia. Both work and you need no test. Just watch your body and in case of symptoms or known contact take the natural medication. Nigella here is 7$/100g. Sutherlandia is a bit more expensive but still a fraction of your "fear money" you will pay.

I have a relative (very old) that I did support with high dose V-D3 and zinc (bitter orange juice) and an emergency dose of Sutherlandia. He - albeit tested positive - is doing well so far. Lets wait an other weak!

PS: Quick tests here take 15 minutes to wait....

  • Scientists warn of new Covid symptom which affects your nose and shouldn't be ignored

More serious symptoms: Anxiety, servility, forbearance in front of a white shirt and sudden empty pocket syndrome.

You can treat yourself if you understand your body and know the symptoms. The safest and fasted path to hell is to go to a hospital!

See the criminal action of Gilead with Remsdesvir - and payed doctors for using it - just giving you some extra days of lovely care before you die now delisted by WHO!

  • Explained: In dark chocolate and green tea, compounds that block coronavirus enzyme

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

Certain foods and beverages such as green tea, dark chocolate and muscadine grapes — a grapevine species native to parts of the United States — contain chemical compounds that can block the function of a key enzyme in the novel coronavirus, a new study has found. The study, by plant biologists at North Carolina State University, is published in the journal Frontiers in Plant Science.

  • Avoidance of vitamin D deficiency to slow the COVID-19 pandemic

    https://nutrition.bmj.com/content/3/1/67

    Conclusions

We have known for a long time that 25(OH)D concentrations of people living at high latitudes drop due to the lower daily UV-B light exposure during the dark months of the year. And still, not enough is done to offset the typical seasonal drop in 25(OH)D concentrations at higher latitudes by using appropriately dosed vitamin D supplements. Now in the context of the current COVID-19 pandemic, renewed attention to the very high prevalence of severe vitamin D deficiency there and elsewhere is in order. Advanced age, obesity, dark skin tone and risk-related genotypes, particularly in combination, are alarm signs that should prompt corrective action, typically with a moderate, individually tailored dose of supplemental vitamin D. While the preventive potential of supplemental vitamin D should not be exaggerated and the dose kept within recommended ranges (typically well under 4000 IU per day), preventing vitamin D deficiency should be a widely shared goal.

  • Explained: In dark chocolate and green tea, compounds that block coronavirus enzyme

Of real therapeutic help so far are only: Sutherlandia and Nigella Sativa. Orange juice (0.5l) after exposition or the first two days. If you are low then also Zinc, V-D3.

Quercetin - brown ognions (also in Nigella) - and all the other substances would need high doses of food intake or a medical enhanced preparation. Some are available in concentrated form (Quercetin, Metformin).

And don't forget. After >=2x serious symptoms - latest when you go to hospital - you must take some Ivermectin 4-6x dose/2xd) as only this drug stops the virus replication inside the cell! If a doctor says something else call him a liar and leave the hospital!
