  • India reports 16,738 new Covid cases, highest since January 29

Again: Most Indians (half of them) are younger than 16 years! compared to USA India has 4000 cases... We should closely watch other countries that have a far higher population risk like UK, Israel, France,Italy.

    CoV-19 + Ivermectin = a short cold nothing more.

in November, China started to insist inbound passengers produce evidence of testing negative

Who the hell wants to go to China the ugliest country in the world with a worse leader than Hitler/Stalin ever were?

In China CoV-19 is everywhere. You can't travel to any place without recurring quarantine. Always at least 10% of the country is under hard, strict lock-down as the sppressing party can't loose face.

  • One year ago today india had 13,000 case of covid and a week later over 100,000. Follow the seasonal path of influenza, far east into eastern europe. Look at finland, case rising, ukraine cases rising. This will continue might east just as it did one year ago. By Tuesday you'll see central europe rising and by the end of the week it will be in uk and us.

And as for china, they are hiding something, just haven't figured out what just yet. Maybe rising cases unreported?

  • And as for china, they are hiding something, just haven't figured out what just yet. Maybe rising cases unreported?

China leaders must play the almighty guy. But this does not work with cricket brains...

I know several people with direct ties to China. My wive just took second highest language test. So CoV-19 is everywhere in China. Then people face a lock down (jailed at home) for 6 weeks and the almighty says its gone...

  • Well boys, after covid it would seem humanity still has a problem that needs attention asap

Falling sperm counts ‘threaten human survival’, expert warns

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

Falling sperm counts and changes to sexual development are “threatening human survival” and leading to a fertility crisis, a leading epidemiologist has warned.

Writing in a new book, Shanna Swan, an environmental and reproductive epidemiologist at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, warns that the impending fertility crisis poses a global threat comparable to that of the climate crisis.

The current state of reproductive affairs can’t continue much longer without threatening human survival,” she writes in Count Down.

It comes after a study she co-authored in 2017 found that sperm counts in the west had plummeted by 59% between 1973 and 2011, making headlines globally

  • China did "little" to investigate COVID-19 origins in early months: report

WHO researchers recently returned from Wuhan disappointed China didn't share raw data

China did "little" to investigate the origins of COVID-19 in Wuhan during the first eight months of the pandemic, according to an internal World Health Organization report from August that was reviewed by The Guardian.

"Following extensive discussions with and presentation from Chinese counterparts, it appears that little had been done in terms of epidemiological investigations around Wuhan since January 2020," the report said, according to The Guardian.

Some WHO researchers returned from a fact-finding trip in Wuhan this month partially disappointed that China refused to share raw data about the first patients to get COVID-19.

Dominic Dwyer, an Australian infectious diseases expert who was on the trip, told Reuters that the WHO team requested raw patient data on 174 people who caught COVID-19 in December 2019, but Chinese authorities only gave them a summary

  • J&J says two trial participants had severe allergic reactions after getting Covid vaccine

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

    KEY POINTS

Two trial participants suffered severe allergic reactions shortly after getting Johnson & Johnson's Covid-19 vaccine, a J&J scientist told an FDA panel on Friday.

One, in South Africa, developed anaphylaxis, a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction, after getting the vaccine, said Macaya Douoguih, head of clinical development and medical affairs for J&J's vaccines division Janssen.

"We will continue to closely monitor for these events," she told the FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.

Two trial participants suffered severe allergic reactions shortly after getting Johnson & Johnson's Covid-19 vaccine, a J&J scientist told an FDA panel on Friday.

J&J was first informed on Wednesday about the allergic reactions, Macaya Douoguih, head of clinical development and medical affairs for J&J's vaccines division Janssen, told the FDA's Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.

One of the people was participating in an ongoing trial in South Africa and developed anaphylaxis, a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction, after getting the vaccine, she said.

She did not give details on the second person's reaction.

"We will continue to closely monitor for these events," she told the panel.

  • Cases pick up after big global fall; Israel sees one of world’s steepest drops

Number of new daily cases increases by six percent over past week to 384,200 in reversal after unprecedented 51% plunge recorded from mid-January to mid-February

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/…of-worlds-steepest-drops/

PARIS — The virus picked up speed again over the past week in every part of the world except Africa, after a month in which new COVID-19 cases fell by half, according to AFP data.

Here is the state of play worldwide:

It is a reversal after the unprecedented 51% plunge recorded from mid-January to mid-February, according to an AFP tally to Thursday.

New cases are now at a level last seen in mid-October.

The number of confirmed cases only reflects a fraction of the actual number of infections, as different countries have different counting practices and levels of testing.

    African exception

Africa is the only continent to see a slowdown, with 14% fewer new cases.

All the other regions saw a pick up: 10% in Europe, 8% in Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean, 5% in the Middle East and 1% in the United States and Canada.

In Oceania the number of infections more than tripled, but there are nevertheless only 47 cases a day.

  • Why then so much effort in learning Chinese and never going to practice it?

My wive went to China for other reasons. I would never go -decided long tiem ago Tianmen.

You cannot cheat evolution for ever. Only the fattest survive (in USA..).

China did "little" to investigate the origins of COVID-19 in Wuhan during the first eight months of the pandemic, according to an internal World Health Organization report from August that was reviewed by The Guardian.

Immediately after the event was report to Peking the Lab has been cleared. The lady chief responsible for the gain-off research disappeared for a very long time. All lab books/notes destroyed. Of course they have forgotten to dump some old blood samples as the escape happened much earlier according to Italian data.

so far >1000 died after a Pfizer shot some thousands had shocks and blood disorder. That's the prize you have to pay for making a few fat people even fatter (more rich).

    I like ivermectin!

unprecedented 51% plunge recorded from mid-January to mid-February

Press nonsense we had > 100% plunge in three weeks...also 100% in two week.. = mega outstanding plunge???

    All this without vaccines!!!

  • I guess the 3,000 signatures of front line doctors involved with the FLCCC don't count as to ivermectin

Count for what? Those doctors are free to use ivermectin. Any doctor is. If a doctor thinks it is a good idea, he or she can use it. No one is suppressing the use of this drug.

The consensus is that it does not work. The drug companies agree with that consensus. What do you want the drug companies to do? Ignore their own best judgement and recommend the stuff? Because 3,000 doctors think it works? Because you think it works? Experts and drug company execs have a right to their opinions. You can disagree, but for you to suggest they are somehow manipulating the public or suppressing the use of this drug by expressing their opinions is unreasonable. It is silly. They have no means to do that.

Sure Jed tell that to the people who had to go to court to use it

  • Good news.

People in the U.S. are less hesitant than before about getting vaccinated, according to a new survey

As more people in the United States learn of someone close to them who has received a Covid-19 vaccine, they are becoming more open to getting the vaccine themselves, according to the latest survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation, which has been monitoring attitudes since December.

Across most demographic groups, vaccine hesitancy, though still substantial, continues to abate. Fifty-five percent of adults now say they have either received one dose or will get it as soon as they can, up from 34 percent in December.

The so-called “wait and see” group is inching down, too, to 22 percent in February from 31 percent in January.

[The issue is still highly politicized, with a huge difference between Democrats and Republicans. This difference is also seen in how willing and how often they wear masks.]

From December to February, the proportion of Democrats who had either gotten the shot or wanted to soared to 75 percent from 47 percent. Republicans remained more hesitant, but there was a notable increase in the amount who were vaccinated or hoped to be, to 41 percent from 28 percent.
