Covid-19 News

  • At least three of the spike mutations, N501Y, N439K and Y453F, may help the virus to infect human cells. These, and another change in the spike called delta69/70, might help the virus evade antibodies from people who have caught the virus before or had a vaccine shot.

It is unlikely that the new variant will evade antibodies from people who were infected in the past. In our lab we test for both nucleocapsid-based and spike-based antibodies and most subjects develop both N-based and S-based antibodies. Less than 10% of people develop a pure S-based immunity. Hopefully the N protein is known to be less prone to mutations than the 2 S subunits. This is one reason why some manufacturers (e.g. Roche, Epitope Dx) developed a test that targets the N-based antibodies. Only a very few tests target both N and S and it is not surprising that it is those tests that have the best sensitivity.

Unfortunately the same does not apply to vaccines. Most vaccines are S-based. AFAIK this is the case for the mRNA vaccines of Pfizer and Moderna for which new variants may evade the antibodies developed after vaccination. I heard that they are already working on a new form of the vaccine. Repeat vaccination is good for business....

  • The FLCCC alliance of Paul Marik, Pierre Kory only recommend two standard doses of ivermectin on day 1 and day 3 as soon as you feel sick (presumably with covid19). This will stop covid in its tracks. Here is the preprint of the meta-analysis which shows high success rate (typically between 70% and 100%) over 24+ studies and 7000 patients:

    https://osf.io/wx3zn/

    quoting from the preprint:

"Our current review includes a total of 7,300 patients from 24 controlled studies [15 RCTs (n= 3,080)]; with 12 published in peer-reviewed journals including 4,054 patients."

  • It have to be tested seriously, and prove it does not kill more than its cure.

Sorry Alain! Did you read the papers ???

Over all 8x standard dose did save 19 out of 20 lives in Egypt. Max dose used so far is 12x standard in Bangladesh.

Stop with kidding arguments as this has been tested with more than 3000 patients.

This is OK for early treatment only! For later stages it's ( 2 dose) not better than HCQ!

Unluckily most old people shine up late and directly go to ICU! We just had such a (deadly standard care ) case...

This is why I recommend a soft infection with early treatment. Best with Ivermectin, second Sutherlandia, third Nigella Sativa. Of course always with high dose VD-3,zinc & industrial! orange juice!

  • Genetics experts worry coronavirus vaccines might not work quite as well against UK variant

By Elizabeth Cohen, CNN Senior Medical Correspondent

Health officials have downplayed the possibility that the coronavirus vaccines won't work against the UK strain, but Worobey and other scientists thinks it's a possibility -- and it's just a possibility -- that this new variant might, to a small extent, outsmart the vaccines.

Fortunately, the mRNA vaccines can be reformulated and changed quickly, should the need arise. I think the researcher in the video here said this can be done even without FDA approval. They just slide a slightly different kind of RNA into the lipid nanoparticles. It is sort of like changing out the modular part in a machine.

    You are your own doctor.

A man who serves as his own lawyer has a fool for a client.

No, I am not my own doctor. I do not try to drill my own teeth in the dentist's chair. I do not try to pilot a Boeing jetliner when I travel. I only fly model airplanes and computer simulations, because if I flew a real airplane, I would fly it into the ground.

  • The latest projections of COVID-19 deaths at the IHME now show the effects of the vaccine. Even with the vaccine, easing mandates for masks and social distancing will cause catastrophic levels of death and disease.

Here are the projections for the U.S. and the UK. Look at the Daily Deaths tabs. The graph heading says: "Daily deaths is the best indicator of the progression of the pandemic, although there is generally a 17-21 day lag between infection and deaths."

  • The pandemic seems to be spiraling out of control in many countries, especially the U.K. It was well under control in South Korea but now it is spreading again. As I mentioned here, South Korea public health officials say it is hard to control because it is spreading in households more than from concentrated clusters.

It looks to me like it increased just about everywhere in the last month but it still can be controlled. In some countries the curve has been flattened or brought down significantly. Especially Italy and France. In the UK it was under control and then it jumped up again. Thank goodness the vaccine is here!

Here are some graphs. It is somewhat back under control in Italy and France:

An exponential increase in the U.K. and S. Korea:

    S. Korea looks bad, but the absolute numbers are still low.

    https://www.worldometers.info/…irus/country/south-korea/

Japan and the U.S. could be leveling off. I think it is a too early to tell:

  • No, I am not my own doctor.

You are, obviously, a well educated/behaving slave not more and not less. Obviously you can afford to pay others for staying healthy.- 70'000'000 Americans cannot do so. In face of them you are an ignorant.

As said: My uncle did survive (with Sutherlandia), whereas his buddy treated by doctors simply died with no chance...

Most doctors are like mechanicians. If they face something new, then they must go back to school. But currently they have no time to do so. Even worse: They trust the mafia teachers like Drosten in Germany without any reflection.

If you want to survive then buy Ivermectin or Sutherlandia. Forget the vaccine as tomorrow already you will need a new one ...

  • Plan to eliminate Covid in Belgium.... not for gutless wonders at the top..

    "

Proposal to “eradicate the new coronavirus from Belgium in less than six weeks”

On December 21, Marc Wathelet, PhD, coronavirus specialist and consultant, came up with a “Plan to eradicate SARS-CoV-2 from Belgium and Emergency Trial proposal for Ivermectin,” published in English on LinkedIn.

“I propose a straightforward plan that would eradicate the new coronavirus from Belgium in less than six weeks, which would be enormously beneficial at all levels: sanitary, economic, social, psychological and political! We could resume all economic activities and schools within three weeks, masking would become unnecessary in most contexts by the sixth week.”

Wathelet insists that the plan “requires seeing the opportunity of Ivermectin facing us, and the political will to take the necessary decisions to convert this vision into reality for Belgium. It will require tremendous leadership at the very top.”

Vitamin D, other everyday vitamins could counter coronavirus effects: report

Studies reveal nine out of 10 COVID-19 deaths could have been prevented if people had adequate Vitamin D levels

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

So far, here's what medical experts say: People with low vitamin D who get COVID have a greater tendency toward dying, have a greater tendency toward hyper-inflammation in the cytokine storm that comes with COVID, and have a greater tendency toward getting on ventilators, which is very bad because ventilators don't work very well for COVID, Osborne said.

"When a person's on a ventilator with COVID it's not a good thing. So, the outcomes aren't great, so if we can keep people off of ventilators and we can keep their immune system supported really well with nutrition, that ideally that makes the most sense," he explained.

  • "Albert Bourla, Pfizer Inc. CEO, on Monday, during an interview with CNN’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta, explained why he hasn’t taken the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine developed by his company, suggesting that the actual reason is that he doesn’t want to “cut the queue” voted on by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)."
