I don't believe it's under patent protection so I have no idea why they are ignored. I do know that when the vitamin craze begun back in the 80s big pharma did everything in its power to lobby congress to block supplements until FDA approval. I think one must look at the FDA and find where their interests lie, no pun intended. You have to ask yourself why there is no approved early treatment, who benefits? Once treatment is needs, big pharma, big bucks treatment. Who benefits?

There is huge difference between an expert dismissing cold fusion without evidence, and an expert who dismisses HCQ for technical reasons described in a paper. You can read the paper and see whether you agree or not, assuming you yourself are expert enough to evaluate the data. If you are not expert enough, you should not be second-guessing the expert.

There is little or no profit in making most vaccines, such as the ones used to eliminate childhood diseases, or seasonal influenza shots. The COVID-19 one may be an exception, because it is a global emergency, but even if it is still needed years from now it will not be profitable. I hope it will not be needed.

It is "negative" in that sense. The study is finished but the report is not. My point was, information about this drug is not being suppressed. The drug is not being ignored. Officially supported clinical trials have been conducted. What more can you ask for?

Experts at the FDA, the CDC and other government agencies never make money from anything they do. The government experts who invented the internet did not make a dime from it, while others made trillions of dollars. Granted, a few of them got Turing prizes decades later.

Academic researchers at universities seldom make money from their discoveries.

In the U.S. doctors do not generally make money from drugs they prescribe. They do in other countries. In any case, they are desperate to save patients in this emergency, and to reduce their workload and free up beds. It is inconceivable that they would withhold a promising drug for profit, or for any reason. Many of the therapies they have developed in the last several months cost nothing, such as turning patients on their stomachs, or using a tighter fitting oxygen mask. They do not withhold these techniques just because they cost nothing.

People here should stop making unfounded assertions about evil doing by doctors and researchers. There is no evidence for it. It is one thing to say you disagree with their professional opinions. That is seldom convincing, because you probably know almost nothing about the subject, whereas they know a lot. It does not impress when you say: "as a rank amateur I disagree with world-class experts who have decades of experience." That sounds stupid. So, some people resort to saying:

"Those experts are lying. They know the truth. They know that I am right. They secretly agree with me, the World's Leading Expert in Every Subject. They are evil people who conspire to kill patients. Bwahahaha!"

That does not sound stupid. It sounds paranoid, like you should be wearing a tin-foil hat. At least we can tell you are a sick puppy for saying things like that, but it really has no place in a serious scientific discussion.

1 - Yes, they can profit of their patents $150,000 a year. That would only be about $500k in 5 years. Of course, the big bonus comes when the very top CDC type people go into industry and get a bigger payout.

A study by All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)-Bhubaneswar in the Indian state of Odisha found that two doses of potential drug ivermectin prophylaxis resulted in a 73% reduction in Covid-19 infection.

Between 20 September and 19 October, 12 physicians of AIIMS-Bhubaneshwar conducted the study on healthcare workers (HCWs) at risk of virus exposure.

Ivermectin is one among several potential drugs currently in trials for its therapeutic and preventive role in Covid-19 infection.

I was dismayed by the information put forth in a Dec. 16 article written by a local doctor.

Let’s start at the beginning. Back in January of 2020, the American people got their first words of wisdom from the great American doctor, Anthony Fauci, who said on Jan. 24, 2020, “We don’t want the American public to be worried about this because their risk is low,

The CDC and WHO backed up the claim that Covid 19 was nothing to worry about. Both agencies repeatedly said masks were not necessary and this virus was just that, a virus.

The CDC more recently said that only six percent of true Covid deaths were actually caused by the Covid 19 virus. All other deaths marked as Covid deaths were because the patient had two or more co morbidities.

Back on March 13, 2020, President Trump declared a national emergency after being falsely told millions of Americans were going to die from this virus. That same day, on March 13, 2020, Governor Brad Little declared a state of emergency for Idaho, before a single resident of Idaho ever contracted or died from Covid 19. Why would he do that you ask? Simple - money, lots of money. 1.25 billion, to be exact. Also, from early April on, hospitals received $13,000 for each Covid patient admitted and $39,000 for each patient put on a ventilator.

In the midst of the lock downs and economic down turn, hospitals cut their budgets and their staff significantly and all “elective” surgeries were cancelled.

Fast forward to now, many hospital staff still have not been rehired back and hospitals are losing money from people who would have otherwise been receiving elective surgeries throughout these last nine months.

Why are we all being masked up, locked down, and not being able to enjoy our God-given Constitutional Rights? The reason is we all have to be constantly reminded how deadly this virus is.

But let’s look at the survival rate according to the CDC.

Age 0-19 99.997%

Age 24-49 99.998%

Age 50-69 99.5%

Age 70+ 94.6%

There is a remedy for this virus and it is not a vaccine, mask, or lock down. Actually there are two proven drugs that can be given. Hydroxychloroquine, and Ivermectin. Both have several studies that were done, and prove, that given early, or even later, as in the case of Ivermectin, patients even in their 80’s or 90’s fully recovered.

Instead of listening to the government and mainstream media, do your own research. Start with looking up the website of America’s Frontline Doctors (https://www.americasfrontlinedoctors.com). Of course you won’t find them on Google, so try an alternative search engine not controlled by big tech, like DuckDuckGo. These doctors have been treating Covid patients and have nothing to gain by lying to the American people.

The scare tactic is to keep telling anyone who will listen that this virus is so deadly that if you get it, you will die. That is not true. The great majority of people will recover on their own. Most patients diagnosed are told to go home and quarantine. Not to mention that these Covid tests raise countless questions as to their accuracy.

For those age 75 plus, with co-morbidities, or those medically fragile, they should stay away from people as they would in a flu season, but they have medication available (hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin) to them should they contract Covid.

One other curious point - in 2018-2019, the seasonal flu according to the CDC: 35.5 million people got sick, 16.5 million people went to their health care provider, 490,000 were hospitalized, and 34,200 died. Many more than the actual Covid deaths in 2020. Also, there is no talk of the flu this season. The flu numbers and deaths have all but evaporated.

People, wake up! Don’t live your life in fear, giving up your Constitutional Rights, for a made up narrative. Do the research and educate yourself!

That is not in evidence. To say the least. That's absurd.

First, because the case mortality rate has fallen from 6% down to 2% in the U.S., and 1% elsewhere. The doctors must be doing something right! That cannot be a coincidence. The doctors have not "failed miserably."

Second, because there had been massive double-blind tests of ivermectin, HCQ and many other drugs. Such tests would normally be much smaller and cheaper. They would take years, not weeks. Tremendous effort has been put into finding a cure. Tremendous sums of money have been spent -- as they should have been. Results have been published immediately, even though they are not peer-reviewed. No scientific data has been suppressed. There has been some criticism of things like HCQ in the mass media, but the scientific information is available to anyone in the world.
