Covid-19 News

  • As I understand it, China got a problem to supply enough meat from pigs due to the pig influensa. And due to this famers began to raise other animals

from the forrest and by that enable new viruses to spread among the humans hence the corona virus. Sounds very plausable and logical to me.

  • And due to this famers began to raise other animals

from the forrest and by that enable new viruses to spread among the humans hence the corona virus. Sounds very plausable and logical to me.

A saying about China states: Chinese people eat everything that is able to move... Thus nothing new with CoV-19 and pig-flu.

The CoV-19 virus clearly is lab-made as no even close related virus exists in nature. Also a Swiss member of WHO did state, that this virus is of lab-origin. All genetic real experts I know say the same.

The only question is why did the first attempt to release it (April 2019 New York) fail?

The whole story runs along a play book that includes many carefully planned steps like intentional false statements by WHO (do not close border????) . Sudden appearance of patents for similar virus and vaccination. Using wrong masks all over the west.

And most compelling. The fight against the two best working cures: HCQ combo and Ivermectin combo. But selling dirt Gilead.

Constantly lying to people about a possible herd immunity with a vaccine, what is impossible for a nasal mucosa virus.

The UK mafia did lie about 1.1.7.1 being more deadly to uphold the lock down and to shed people into needless vaccination.

Fact is 1.1.7.1 is far far less deadly than the old strain but more contagious. This type will possible stay for a long long time same as all its other family members.

To many idiots live in the mafia and people like to hear lies...

New Research Shows High Vitamin D Levels May Protect Against COVID-19, Especially for Black People

By University of Chicago Medicine on Mar 19, 2021

In a retrospective study of individuals tested for COVID-19, vitamin D levels above those traditionally considered sufficient were associated with a lower risk of COVID-19.

A new research study at the University of Chicago Medicine has found that when it comes to COVID-19, having vitamin D levels above those traditionally considered sufficient may lower the risk of infection, especially for Black people.

The study, published today (March 19, 2021) in JAMA Open Network, retrospectively examined the relationship between vitamin D levels and likelihood of testing positive for COVID-19. While levels of 30 ng/ml or more are usually considered “sufficient,” the authors found that Black individuals who had levels of 30 to 40 ng/ml had a 2.64 times higher risk of testing positive for COVID-19 than people with levels of 40 ng/ml or greater. Statistically significant associations of vitamin D levels with COVID-19 risk were not found in white people. The study looked at data from over 3,000 patients at UChicago Medicine who had had their vitamin D levels tested within 14 days before a COVID-19 test.

The research team is now recruiting participants for two separate clinical trials testing the efficacy of vitamin D supplements for preventing COVID-19.

This research is an expansion of an earlier study showing that a vitamin D deficiency (less than 20 ng/ml) may raise the risk of testing positive for COVID-19. In the current study, those results were further supported, finding that individuals with a vitamin D deficiency had a 7.2% chance of testing positive for the virus. A separate study recently found that over 80% of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 were vitamin D deficient.

“These new results tell us that having vitamin D levels above those normally considered sufficient is associated with decreased risk of testing positive for COVID-19, at least in Black individuals,” said David Meltzer, MD, PhD, Chief of Hospital Medicine at UChicago Medicine and lead author of the study. “This supports arguments for designing clinical trials that can test whether or not vitamin D may be a viable intervention to lower the risk of the disease, especially in persons of color.”

  • Major coronavirus variant found in pets for first time

    https://www.sciencemag.org/new…ant-found-pets-first-time

The variants of SARS-CoV-2 that keep emerging aren’t just a human problem. Two reports released this week have found the first evidence that dogs and cats can become infected by B.1.1.7, a recent variant of the pandemic coronavirus that transmits more readily between people and also appears more lethal in them. The finds mark the first time one of the several major variants of concern has been seen outside of humans.

B.1.1.7 was first identified in the United Kingdom and that’s where some of the variant-infected pets were found. The U.K. animals suffered myocarditis—an inflammation of the heart tissue that, in serious cases, can cause heart failure. But the reports offer no proof that the SARS-CoV-2 variant is responsible, nor that it’s more transmissible or dangerous in animals. “It’s an interesting hypothesis, but there’s no evidence that the virus is causing these problems,” says Scott Weese, a veterinarian at the University of Guelph’s Ontario Veterinary College who specializes in emerging infectious diseases.

That coincided with a surge of the B.1.1.7 variant in the United Kingdom. So the team looked at 11 pets: eight cats and three dogs. None of the animals had a previous history of heart disease, yet all had come down with symptoms ranging from lethargy and loss of appetite to rapid breathing and fainting. Lab tests revealed cardiac abnormalities, including irregular heartbeats and fluid in the lungs, all symptoms seen in human cases of COVID-19.

Seven of the animals got polymerase chain reaction tests, and three came back positive for SARS-CoV-2—all with the B.1.1.7 variant, team reported yesterday on the preprint server bioRxiv. SARS-CoV-2 antibody tests on four of the other animals picked up evidence that two of them had been infected with the virus. Earlier this week, researchers at Texas A&M University detected the B.1.1.7 variant in a cat and a dog from the same home in the state’s Brazos county.

The Texas owner was diagnosed with COVID-19, and owners of five of the 11 U.K. pets tested positive for SARS-CoV-2—all before their animals developed symptoms. The Texas pets showed no symptoms at the time they were tested, though they both began to sneeze several weeks later. All of the U.S. and U.K. animals have since recovered, though one of the U.K. cats relapsed and had to be euthanized.

  • So much nonsense gets publish today! Unbelievable. The virus was in Italy already in August 2019!!

This also confirms that sars cov-2 was circulating in spain in March of 2019. So why did the WHO start it's investigation in China? What are they hiding or covering for

Sentinel surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater anticipates the occurrence of COVID-19 cases

    https://www.medrxiv.org/conten…6.13.20129627v1.full-text

    Abstract

SARS-CoV-2 was detected in Barcelona sewage long before the declaration of the first COVID-19 case, indicating that the infection was present in the population before the first imported case was reported. Sentinel surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater would enable adoption of immediate measures in the event of future COVID-19 waves.

Article Summary Line SARS-CoV-2 genomes occur in sewage long before the declaration of COVID-19 cases among the population.

In early December 2019, COVID-19 originated in Wuhan, China, and reached thereafter many parts of the world, including Europe, where the first case was reported in France in late-January 2020 (1). However, evidence points to the occurrence of cases in France already in late 2019.

Despite COVID-19 is a respiratory disease, large amounts of coronavirus genomes are shed in the feces (2, 3) and ultimately reach wastewater (4, 5). SARS-CoV-2 surveillance in sewage may be considered a sensitive tool to monitor the spread of the virus among the population. However, there is no epidemiological evidence that sewage could be a transmission route for SARS-CoV-2, through contamination of bathing areas or irrigation waters, because very few studies report culture of infectious virus from stool (6). Even in respiratory samples, infectivity is only associated with very high genome copy numbers (7, 8) that very unlikely are found in wastewater.

To date, Spain ranks in fourth place in absolute number of cases, and almost topping the list in number of cases and deaths per 1 million inhabitants, being Barcelona the second most affected area. The first case in Barcelona was reported in February 25, 2020 and the total number of cases at the end of May 2020 was over 17,500

Sewage was regularly monitored in all major cities in the UK, back when we had state owned and funded public health laboratories. In the 60's and 70's one of my friends used to do the almost daily bacteriology on both sewage and drinking water. They weren't bothered about viruses in sewage then - though he did send samples to Porton Down now and then for them to check for Polio virus - but were looking for Cholera, Cryptosporidium, Typhoid and TB.

I suspect that before the pandemic it was no longer done regularly here.

  • New York april of 2019? Who told you that?

It's in the CDC database where they started to monitor corona due to a few atypical flu cases. Of course nobody did check for a new corona virus....

This also confirms that sars cov-2 was circulating in spain in March of 2019.

Not confirmed. They just did look at sample from early 2019 but did notreport about CoV-19.

Covid, a plant-based vaccine in phase 3 of the trial. Here's how it's done and how it works

    '

The compound developed by Canadian biopharmaceutical company Medicago and Britain's GlaxoSmithKline (Gsk) has been licensed by Canadian and US regulatory authorities. It will be tested on 30,000 people. "It is a mature technology, already used in the past to produce monoclonal antibodies against Ebola" explains Giovanni Maga, director of the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the National Research Council

No inactivated viruses. And not even pieces of DNA. The vaccine developed by Medicago, a Canadian biopharmaceutical company, and the British GlaxoSmithKline (Gsk) is of plant origin and is ready to enter the last phase of experimentation. In fact, Canadian and US regulatory authorities have given approval to proceed with the enrollment of healthy adults in the phase 3 part of the study, based on positive interim phase 2 results. The study will enroll up to 30,000 subjects initially composed by healthy adults (aged 18 to 65), followed by elderly adults (aged 65 and above) and adults with comorbidities. The trial will take place in ten countries, starting with Canada and the United States.

Medicago's plant-derived vaccine candidate uses Coronavirus-Like-Particle (CoVLP) technology with the vaccine composed of recombinant glycoprotein (S) expressed as virus-like particles (Vlp), co-administered with the Gsk pandemic adjuvant. "In practice, this vaccine uses plant-based production technology," explains Giovanni Maga, director of the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the National Research Council (Cnr-Igm). “It is a question, that is, of producing these pseudo-viral particles, basically a lipid structure with the Spike protein of the coronavirus, without any genetic material, using seedlings as bioreactors,” he adds. In reality, it is not a new idea. "It is a mature technology, already used in the past to produce monoclonal antibodies against Ebola," says Maga. “This vaccine must be administered twice three weeks apart, and in the first two phases of clinical trials - he continues - it has shown the ability to induce antibodies in vaccinated people. In phase III, which is about to start, it will be evaluated whether these antibodies are actually able to protect against infection ".

The vaccine candidate, in combination with the pandemic adjuvant, received Fast Track designation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last month. The Fast Track designation allows the US regulatory agency to accelerate the development and review of new drugs and vaccines designed to treat or prevent serious conditions and address an unmet medical need. "The FDA's decision to grant Fast Track designation for Medicago's vaccine candidate will help us accelerate our efforts to bring the first plant-derived Covid 19 vaccine to market, subject to regulatory approval," said Carolyn Finkle, Chief Operating Officer of Medicago. "We are grateful to the FDA and look forward to continuing to work with them as we proceed with our clinical trials, the planned emergency use authorization application and the eventual vaccine licensing application process," she adds.

If all goes according to plan, we will have a very interesting vaccination solution. "The ability to use these plant bioreactors - explains Maga - certainly increases the simplicity of preparing the vaccine and therefore can allow, not only to produce many doses, but also to have a vaccine with a definitely safety profile, at least on paper. favorable. The particles used do not contain nucleic acids, they are not viruses, but only means to get the Spike protein to the cells, so that they can trigger the protective immune response ”. Now we just have to wait. “We will see how the experimentation proceeds”, dice the scientist of the CNR. "It would certainly be good news if a vaccine based on a new principle, compared to those already approved, could be added to the supply chain of solutions currently on offer", he concludes.

  • Covid-19 cases are rising again in much of the world

More transmissible variants, rather than changes in behaviour, are largely to blame

LIKE A STORY-BOOK villain, the covid-19 pandemic has a habit of fighting back from the brink of defeat. Last summer politicians were quick to assume that the coronavirus had been squashed, only for a second wave to engulf much of Europe and North America in the autumn. Then, as vaccine programmes got under way in December, new mutations of SARS-CoV-2 emerged that may lower the efficacy of those vaccines. Today a third wave of infections is sweeping through Europe, forcing many governments to impose another round of lockdowns. From midnight on March 19th, 21m people in France will enter a new month-long lockdown, on top of a nationwide curfew that has been in place since January 16th. Angela Merkel, Germany’s chancellor, warned that her country would probably need to apply an “emergency brake” and reimpose a lockdown.

The recent rise in global cases is worrying. They fell by half between January 11th and February 20th, but have since risen by 30% from that low point. Cases are currently highest in Europe, particularly in eastern Europe. Both Estonia and the Czech Republic are recording more than 100 new cases per 100,000 people a day. In the EU as a whole, that rate is 31 per 100,000, not far below the mid-January peak. Hospitals beds in the worst-affected places are full. Cases are also surging in Latin America, where they are up by a third since February.

  • The recent rise in global cases is worrying.

This noise is just vaccine selling news. More cases (UK 1.1.7.1) --> much less deaths and severe cases as teh added cases are young people. CoV-19 is going to survive as a mild disease as all much older classic cold corona virus.

The cricket brain politicians are fooled by the mafia advisors.

Are Geophysics Dramatically Changing COVID19 Outcomes in Some Locations? We May Find Out the Hard Way March 2021.

2020 has shown us our normal tools for understanding and solving respiratory virus pandemics are just not working for COVID19 and some aspects of the spread, mechanisms and fatality make no logical sense. Is it possible that geophysics are coupled to fatality rates and long term outcomes? The researchers that predicted this pandemic think so. The announcement of a spontaneous peak of deaths peaking in mid March and following the death pattern of 2020, will be the ultimate validation.

There seem to be a lot of counter-intuitive aspects of COVID19 that have researchers scratching their heads. Remdesivir, the anti-viral which received FDA fast track approval as the first drug for treating COVID19, was found to be useless for improving COVID19 fatality and the World Health Organization almost immediately issued a recommendation against its use. Intubation, the common intervention for respiratory failure, has shockingly low survival rates — 70% or more of patients that have received intubation die on average. This is highly counter-intuitive with current understanding, leading many doctors and researchers to speculate that the respiratory failure is actually a bio-energetic issue, oxygen is not transferring to the blood, almost like altitude sickness or high altitude pulmonary oedema. Its become clear that COVID19 is not really a pneumonia at all, but some type of complex blood disease causing systematic effects in most organs — somehow without ever leaving behind tell-tale viral RNA in the locations of damage like all other viruses.
