Covid-19 News

  • Way more! The CDC's own study reported that mandated mask wearing resulted in a reduction of mortality of roughly 1 percent per 20 days.

First, that is not even slightly true. Masks greatly reduce transmission and mortality. Second, if it were true, that would have saved 5,000 lives in the U.S., which is a lot.

  • Which experts, the ones that say you're nuts on cold fusion?

There are no experts who say I am nuts regarding cold fusion. There are no experts who doubt that cold fusion exists, or that the experiments are irrefutable proof that it produces heat, tritium and helium commensurate with the heat at the same ratio as D-D fusion (one path).

There are thousands of people who claim that cold fusion does not exist. They include the editors at Sci. Am., Nature, and many scientists, and anonymous idiots at Wikipedia. However, these people are not experts. They are not even close to being experts. Most of them have no knowledge of cold fusion. They have no idea what experiments have been done, what results were obtained, or what the results mean. Everything they say about it is wrong.

When you discuss experts you have to be careful to avoid a fallacious appeal to authority logical fallacy. That is to say, you have to avoid pointing to people who claim to be experts, or people you think are experts, but who are not experts. When you yourself are not an expert, and you cannot judge who knows what, this can be difficult. See:

    http://nizkor.com/features/fal…/appeal-to-authority.html

  • Note that I am not making a "no true Scotsman" logical fallacy. That is, I am not disqualifying experts because they say that cold fusion does not exist. I am disqualifying people who make erroneous claims about cold fusion, and people who know nothing about it, such as those who say it was never replicated or no papers about the subject were ever published.

  • Facts and the usual lies.

Germany : Lie: We face 3thd wave with a more dangerous virus.

Fact: The cases did double within one month, the number of deaths are half that of one month ago...

More or less the same for France.

    Sweden:Lie: Is bad..

Fact: Since one month the death rate is trending to below 10/day despite a large case number.

In General: UK 1.1.7.1 is far less dangerous than the original virus. But it infects much more children and younger people what looks like a third wave but is not.

The cheating the politicians use is simple: Just change the parameters from number of ICU/Death to number of cases.

The real problem is/will be: If the BRA/RSA mutation starts to evolve, then all people can vaccinate again. (At least the Pfizer & Moderna ones). With Ivermectin you are safe.

Good news: People are fed up. No more than 1/3 of the German population does agree with a lock down.

  • First, that is not even slightly true. Masks greatly reduce transmission and mortality. Second, if it were true, that would have saved 5,000 lives in the U.S., which is a lot.

This study was referenced before in this thread, so it's odd you say it's not even slightly true.

    From https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7010e3.htm

Big picture : Roughly 1 out of 10 people in the US died testing positive for Covid over the last year. With masks mandates everywhere to almost everyone in the US - at the expense of human rights and sanity and the environment - it would put it to (very generously) 0.95 out of 10. Rounds to the same 1 out of 10. Whoopee. With Ivermectin administered everywhere, and only to the infected, it would plummet an order of magnitude to 0.1 out of 10.

Vaccination scandal in Peru proves (once again) that it's not 'what you know', but 'who you know' that really matters. Nature- 7 minute read.

A clinical trial of COVID-19 vaccines in Peru has sparked outrage and triggered a series of high-profile resignations at universities and in government. Politicians, researchers and some of their family members who were not enrolled as trial participants nevertheless received vaccines — breaching standard protocols. Investigations are ongoing as the country struggles to inoculate its general population with limited doses.

The scandal emerged on 10 February, when local media revealed that in October 2020, then-president Martín Vizcarra had received two doses of a vaccine developed by the Chinese state-owned pharmaceutical group Sinopharm. At the time, a phase III clinical trial was under way to test the vaccine at two universities in Peru; Vizcarra was not part of the trial.

  • Double mutation of the Covid variant in India risks spreading to other countries, doctor says

    https://news.google.com/articl…=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

The double mutation of a Covid-19 variant discovered in India is of grave concern — and could spread to other countries, according to Dr. Kavita Patel, a non-resident fellow at the Brookings Institution.

"It is something to watch very closely, and something that will not be limited to India. It is something we will likely see around the world as we have with other variants," she told CNBC's "Street Signs Asia" on Monday.

India's health ministry said last week that a variant with two mutations — known as E484Q and L452R — was found in the country. The mutations are not new, but the variant in India carries both of them —something that has not been seen in other variants.

The mutations could make the virus more contagious and better at evading the body's defenses.

  • Canada halting AstraZeneca vaccine shots for people 55 and younger

    https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2021/0…a-vaccine-intl/index.html

(CNN)Canada's National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommended Monday that the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine should not be used in adults under age 55 while rare cases of serious blood clots following vaccination are being investigated, according to a release from the committee.

The rare cases of serious blood clots, known as vaccine-induced prothrombotic immune thrombocytopenia (VIPIT), have recently been reported in Europe following post-licensure use of the AstraZeneca vaccine, primarily in women under the age of 55.

According to the vaccine committee, the rate of this adverse event is still to be confirmed and information is being gathered to be more accurate.

Following population-based analyses of VIPIT assessing risk of COVID-19 disease by age, and considering that alternate products are available (i.e., mRNA vaccines), from what is known at this time, there is substantial uncertainty about the benefit of providing AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine to adults under 55 years of age given that the potential risks associated with VIPIT, particularly at the lower estimated rates," committee officials said.

As a precautionary measure, while Health Canada carries out an updated risk versus benefit analysis based on emerging data, the committee is recommending that the vaccine not be offered to adults younger than 55 but will continue to reassess based on "rapidly evolving evidence."

  • Introducing ‘Vaxzevria’: AstraZeneca renames Covid vaccine as firm fights off controversy over drug

    https://www.rt.com/news/519574…ge-vaccine-vaxzevria/amp/

AstraZeneca has renamed its Covid-19 vaccine, a move that coincides with the company’s struggle to reassure the public that its drug is safe, following numerous reports of potential adverse effects.

The British-Swedish pharmaceutical has rebranded its jab, which previously went by the simple ‘AstraZeneca Covid-19 Vaccine’, to ‘Vaxzevria’. In a press release, the company said that the name change does not involve any alterations to the actual drug. Medical workers should be made aware of the rebrand though, the firm said, because the labeling and packaging can look different.

The European Medicines Agency signed off on the new name last week after AstraZeneca sought approval for the change from the EU regulator. Covishield, which is based on the same formula but was developed in collaboration with the Serum Institute of India, will retain its current branding.

The debut of ‘Vaxzevria’ comes as AstraZeneca fends off growing uncertainty about its drug, which was created in tandem with Oxford University. More than a dozen countries across Europe have temporarily halted their rollout of the vaccine following reports of blood clots. EU health officials, as well as the pharma firm, have maintained that the vaccine is safe and not related to the medical episodes, some of which led to death.

  • Man suffers ‘rare’ severe reaction to COVID-19 vaccine

    https://fox8.com/news/coronavi…-to-covid-19-vaccine/amp/

GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Virginia man suffered a severe reaction after getting his COVID-19 vaccine and doctors believe it was a direct result of the shot.

Richard Terrell got the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine earlier this month. He suffered a severe rash that spread over his entire body and turned his skin red. The 74-year-old was admitted to the hospital and spent five days at the VCU Medical Center.

  • Berlin bans Astrazeneca vaccination for people younger than 60y, due to unusual high rate of brain venous thrombosis. Meanwhile a total of 31 cases in Germany (29 female, 2 male patients).

Citation: PEI said it had registered 31 cases of CSVT, which resulted in nine deaths, out of some 2.7 million people who have received the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The death rate for Pfizer is much higher. If you also include the vaccination induced CoV-19 cases then its gigantic - you should never use it....

But Pfizers argument is business as usual. CoV-19 would kill 0.1% of the people (What of course is a lie - the most vulnerable are dead already..) but 0.1% of 2.3mio. is 2300! So what's up with nine death....??

It's all a question who bribes the government and the experts...Pfizer gets at least 15$ for a shot Astra is below 5$....

  • What is exactly the root cause for the deaths with Pfizer? Any scientifically analyzed data like with Astrazeneca? I do not know them, other than for Astrazeneca, where is a really clear link for the deaths. Canada suspended Astrazeneca completely.

I personally do not know of any problems with Pfizer vaccine in all of my known relatives and friends and their friends (older people), but my wife and her sister both got the Astrazeneca and suffered two days from this vaccination, and don't want to have the second shot, if possible, knowing that there are no problems with the Pfizer vaccine. Fortunately they only suffered from fever, head aches, legs and arms - like a strong flu. Despite the very low "death" rate, there is a major acceptance problem with this vaccine, not only caused by the side effects.... I myself would wait for a "non-Astrazeneca" vaccine, if there will be a chance for a choice, to be honest...

  • The answer has been clear all this time.

It is not the virus, it is the virus made that hurts certain patients.

We all know this is the turning point. We have one of the greatest acts of treason in world history, now with scientific evidence. There are board members who have promoted it and there are others of us who have allowed it.

What if the vaccine contains the disease agent?

I'm not going to tell you the answers, although this is already published in the literature.

We all need a slow long burn, so people actually think about this. And then learn to speak out at the violation that is occuring.

  • At least a link would be nice to follow up on this, thx. I must have missed to read that millions of oculations infected millions of people with Covid-19... ?? Or did I get you wrong?

  • COVID-19 antibodies appear to ward off B117 better than B1351

    https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/new…ar-ward-b117-better-b1351

COVID-19 survivors and those vaccinated against coronavirus appear able to fight off infection with the B117 SARS-CoV-2 variant but may not have the same level of protection against the B1351 variant, according to two new studies.

    Importance of second vaccine dose

In the first study, published late last week in Nature Medicine, researchers at Institut Pasteur in Paris isolated infectious B117, the variant first identified in the United Kingdom, and B1351, first discovered in South Africa, from the nasal swabs of symptomatic COVID-19 patients. Like some other emerging variants, B117 and B1351 are more infectious than previously dominant varieties, leading to fears that they could evade natural and vaccine-induced immunity.

The researchers tested the variants' susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 antibodies from serum samples from 58 patients infected with the previously circulating D614G reference strain (pseudovirus) and 19 people who had received two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA COVID-19 vaccine within the previous 6 weeks.

Antibodies from patients who had recovered from the virus within the previous 9 months neutralized B117 as well as D614G. Samples collected after 9 months, however, showed a sixfold reduction in antibody concentrations, with 40% of the samples unable to neutralize B1351.

Similarly, antibodies from people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 were also able to defend against B117 but less so against B1351, compared with D614G. While antibody levels rose overall after the second shot, anti-B1351 antibodies remained 14 times lower than those against D614G. SARS-CoV-2 antibodies were rarely observed in nasal swabs obtained from vaccinees.

"Thus, faster-spreading SARS-CoV-2 variants acquired a partial resistance to neutralizing antibodies generated by natural infection or vaccination, which was most frequently detected in individuals with low antibody levels," the authors wrote. "Our results indicate that B1.351, but not B.1.1.7, may increase the risk of infection in immunized individuals."
