Covid-19 News

  • Perhaps these are a very quiet 8

"Eight members of NIH's COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel

    8 out of 54

    "

The COVID-19 treatment guidelines are "based on published and preliminary data

and the clinical expertise of the panelists, many of whom are frontline clinicians caring

for patients during the rapidly evolving pandemic."

Fauci is not listed on the NIH financial disclosure form."

    that's the way it works..

After the next election there may be a blowtorch applied to the NIH

  • He did write that, in the message above that I quoted: "its going to spread all over the place with no way to stop it."

Perhaps he was quoting someone. Anyway, various people have said that. The W.H.O. has not said anything like that. They said the opposite in February. Countries that listened to them and employed the methods they recommended were able to contain the virus, so obviously they were rigyou'r

I would like to think your right jed but your using incomplete math, this virus event is on going.

how long will this last on our opinion ?

  • Where are the full data for the Gilead trial?

They will never publish Remdesivir trial data before they made at least 5 Billions (same as with Tamiflu!) . Otherwise it's use would immediately stop due to fake arguments of shortening hospital time what is completely wrong for dying patients. Dying on Gilead crap Remdesivir will make your children poor man because you will die 7-10 day longer... what will cost (USA) at least 50'000$ - just for care only!

    Gilead: You live longer...

  • Let me rahash this again as people mishandles statistics all over the place.

    1. cases is worthless as a comparison measure.

    2. you need per capita comparisons

    3. deaths and icu are very good measures of how hard hot a country is

    4. total deaths is not a good measure of the methods used to fight it.

No one on earth seam to be able to compare countries to see if method A was better then method B in the initial phase. The

reason is that no one calculates the initial number of infected, models the R0 and from that start to compare countries. Not doing

that means that comparisons are bogus. Sweden could have compared worse than Belgium because Belgium got a higher initial

load and could have a higher R0, or Sweden could have managed as well as the other Nordic countries because the other countries

Had a different initial load and a different R0. I suspect that tracking in Norway would have saved them from 0-50% but they would

not have done well with the swedish outbreak because it was probably overwhelming.

No what we can see is that with Covid-19 we can never relax, never end working from home, never end social distancing. Until vaccine comes around.

We will open up the rest of the schools now and people are very careful on doing it right. One thing authorities now realize is that one have to explicitly tell the well paid bosses in the

lower levels to take responsibility to implement the general rules as good as possible. This means that if the teacher is 63 then the teaching will

be done remotely. They schedules school so that they do not cause to much crowding in the buses, make sure the corridors are not filled with students when

the classes ends. In all very different from when they tried to secure the elderly care where they never explicitly stated the responsibility and the lower bosses

failed to implement correct measures or ask for help if they had not enough resources. Well see soon if it is enough. It's scary as we know the younger people

cares less and less and cases goes up now in age 20-29

Why?? Influenza is as bad as CoV-19 if we look at mortality and there is no medication that helps.

For CoV-19 we have 2 working cheap combinations and even cheaper first aid supplements like (red bitter orange juice) that help.

Currently the Zuerich area has little surge in cases and did catch up with Geneva. Both are airport regions Zuerich is a huge high school university spot.

But what counts?? Deaths about 1/week /ICU cases? in average 5....

To compare: The Swiss death toll for slippery soap is about 200/year or the same as CoV-19 currently. Shall we start to bad soap or all soap products ??

Many people are simply crazy as they do believe being able to live in total control. We see the same in terrorism counter fight. 15'000 Americans shot by "friends" and may be 1% by terrorists...

We have to learn to live with CoV-19 at least for the next 2-3 years. And a vaccination is only needed for the folks with the 2-3% rare gen variation that causes the cytokine storm.

We soon will have better tests based on a single blood drop with minute response and of course the doctors will learn to prescribe the correct drugs what will make CoV-19 a mild cold.

I have said that I don’t trust official Chinese data, as the CCP regime has a fear based control of everything published, In order to avoid the party ever looking as incompetent or bad in any way.

This is a report that points once again to the cover up, but this whistle blower has a different point of view on the origin of the virus.

  • Can you send any research understanding/evidence about this gen variation?

I somewhere linked a public journal page.

Basically the gen upregulates the expression of the ACE2 receptor what is good e.g. against influenza and other virus as it promotes a stronger immune response. But here it presents more entry points for CoV-19.

    Here some references I found:

    Overview: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/3663

    Some details : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/p…0732/pdf/FSB2-9999-na.pdf

    https://www.biorxiv.org/conten…0.07.23.218198v2.full.pdf

    Asian people are significant carriers.

To find the exact paper may be you should look for "upregulates the expression of the ACE2 receptor".

    No guts, no glory

Does an Australian gastro legend hold the key to curing Covid?

    https://www.spectator.com.au/2020/08/no-guts-no-glory/

Excerpt: ... The two main reasons that doctors aren’t yet prescribing ivermectin and doxycycline for Covid-19 are, first, that medical litigation has created an ultra-cautious culture even when there is virtually no risk, and second, doctors are mostly imprisoned in the prevailing paradigm which holds that there is no effective treatment to cure Covid-19 and that the only way out of Australia’s pandemic penitentiary is a vaccine. That’s a message that is promoted by powerful pharmaceutical companies who hope to make a motza out of expensive patented medicine and who would make nothing from a cheap generic cure.

... This ‘hydroxy hysteria’ as Trump’s trade advisor Peter Navarro calls it, has been adopted holus bolus by the ABC. However, it’s not just ‘hydroxy hatred’ that is a dogma on the Left; merely to seek a cure is, as a fellow at the Australian Defence Force Academy told the ABC, ‘an individualistic solution’ which appeals to those on the right, in opposition to ‘more left-leaning values around social responsibility.’ It’s a ‘quick fix, a magic cure’ for the ‘problem’ of the virus, he says, not ‘a social solution that implies we have to work together’ — with government —‘to address larger, more complex, and interrelated issues in society to battle the disease.’ In this toxic environment ....

  • Deaths due to COVID misinformation

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-53755067

As vaccines emerge, there is the further threat that anti-vaccine campaigners will use the platform provided by social media to persuade people not to protect themselves.

Despite social media companies removing or labelling misleading information about vaccines, recent polling in the United States showed that 28% of Americans believe that Bill Gates wants to use vaccines to implant microchips in people.

The achievement of an effective coronavirus vaccine could be completely undermined by misinformation, doctors told the BBC's anti-disinformation team.

    Isn't that strange?

  • The problem I have with this is that it is a social science response to a scientific problem.

HCQ, ivermectin, etc - they work or they don't. There are definite answers which we will at some point know -it is just we have partial info at the moment.

I agree - the info is partial - the establishment may be wrong.

I disagree - therefore we should do the opposite of what the establishment says because they are left wing influenced and, hey, we know that is wrong.

However, in my reading around the topic of immunity and specifically preventing viral infections, I have found sufficient, albeit not overwhelming evidence that certain compounds may help bolster immunity. So I am taking daily doses of Vitamin C, zinc, quercetin and elderberry. While not conclusive, I believe the pros outweigh the cons given the side effects are virtually non-existent.
