This article is by a doctor (oncologist). It is speculative and complicated but it suggests that if someone is going to get the virus, the less of it they inhale or otherwise get inside them, the better they will recover. Not for sure though but very likely. Another argument for being cautious if you have to be out there.

I saw Dr. Oz on Fox this morning. He's a mixed bag. He's very credulous as everyone with half a brain can tell. But it is important not to forget that he is a heart surgeon, fully qualified and last I looked, still practicing. He may be gullible but he certainly is not stupid. Another thing to keep in mind is that he has a lot of contacts due to his very successful and immensely profitable TV show. The essence of what he said this morning (probably available on Youtube) is that he is cautiously optimistic about HCQ+Azi but will not decide until the definitive studies have been done which won't be very long. He also said he personally knows (here comes the anecdote) many rheumatologists who treat RA or lupus with HCQ including one with about 800 patients who has never seen a heart complication from the drug. Take all of that and anything from Dr. Oz skeptically but I thought it was interesting.
ETA: Dr. Oz mentioned a group he is supporting (forget which) that is putting together a very large study of people receiving HCQ to see if it exerts a protective influence. This is very difficult. He is envisioning hundreds of thousands of medical and insurance records. Great idea.
