Given the gas selection and very large surface area difference between the anode (small) and the cathode (large) it might also be that using AC input will make it behave almost like 60 Hz 50% pulsed DC—it might not work or barely work for half of the AC cycle.

This video from Electric Engineer Donald Scott released last night Can shed some light on the rationale behind the SAFIRE project:

This YouTube channel has a 3 part series on plasma double layers that is quite educating.
(Understanding Double Layers: Part 1-3)
-
The double layer has a great future. Let me also recall that the isometries of the toric shell of the double layer of a sphere without poles have symmetries isomorphic to the group U (1) X SU (2)
-
In the post above, we are talking about a two-layer toric shell of a sphere.

Alan Smith ....yes I agree but the Sun has an enormous GRAVITATIONAL FIELD which maintains the fusion reaction and collision reactions between protons to form inert HELIUM. Containing a SUN within the SAFIRE reactor will never attain the same conditions unless they go up to 10 million or 100 million degrees C. This is in the same ball-park as what ITER or the old Russian TOKAMAK designs tried to achieve. NOT POSSIBLE or PROBABLE but interesting research anyway. NO, the design I am proposing is much, much simpler and can be used for DOMESTIC CENTRAL HEATING.

These are just words, and you take the formula from the post #29 and just calculate what acceleration is needed to initiate and maintain the synthesis reaction.

I have yet to get myself to grasp the relationship between electromagnetism and gravity that the SO4 model from Wyttenbach establishes. All I can see so far is that gravity is an EM manifestation but I can’t yet see how it scales up.
Edit to add link where Jürg develops how gravity is generated in the SO4 model.

Edit to add link where Jürg develops how gravity is generated in the SO4 model.Let's not rely on new theories. You just remember that gravity on both the earth and the sun causes acceleration of free fall. That's all. However, you can also remember that gravity is equivalent to acceleration. This will be useful when modeling the sun.

Yeah I think I have heard them call it that before but Ben's videos are new. =) They are working behind the scenes.

If you are interested, I can share behind-the-scenes work on my own project. I tried to publish in prestigious journals, but I didn't even get to peer review, so I submitted the article to a less prestigious journal. It's been a month under review, and in the meantime I'm trying to find people who would be willing to R&D on this project. However, the scientific bureaucracy is impenetrable, but I will try to break through it with the help of a presidential order.

https://aureon.ca/Thanks. Very bold statement they make:
"Seven years of research and experimentation has led to the creation of a clean nuclear plasma reactor capable of all of the above. Aureon Energy is bringing it to market."
Love the short video.

https://aureon.ca/I think Rossi is not showy enough
and that Safire are a bit to showy.
BLP somewhere in between.
Robert Godes the most interesting.

In the early days of software-driven products, we used to joke about competitors "yeah, they're shipping spec sheets in quantity...but where's the hardware?."
In the case of Aureon, we might say "they're posting videos in quantity". They are excellent short-form videos, built by a skilled producer using excerpts from the previous long-form Safire videos. To be fair, nobody is yet shipping any hardware in this field, while video postings are universal.
It seems clear that with the new web site, Aureon is in full fund-raising mode, for which such short, punchy videos can be a powerful tool. My personal take is that the Aureon team has done some very important work, and have a good chance of transforming it into useful and viable products. That said, the web page with half a dozen such videos seems a bit "too much, too soon", and I hope they will revise the format to better capture the interest and engagement of potential investors.
