The Long Awaited Dec 9th 2021 Ecat SKLed and SKLep Presentation Thread

  • Some comments from ECW :

Everyone agrees SKled lumens is too low.

One user calculated he'd have to spend $60K for a whole-house SKlep system (but he was rating it for a full 200A service, which is way over what is actually used.)

Some concern that there may be spikey waveforms where the input power was measured. An oscilloscope would have negated that.

Another suggested a thermometer in the resistor oil bath. But without a full calorimeter that would be useless.

Everyone agreed the presentation was worse than a 4th grade science fair project.

  • Summary of the written report* about prototype B :

+ On the positive side, Mr. Rossi did get a third party to test the device & write a technical report

    However :

    - Dr. Levi's independence / credibility is not unquestionable given previous involvement

    - It is unclear where the test took place, presumably in a space controlled by Mr. Rossi and in his presence

    - It is unclear whose instruments were used, presumably Mr. Rossi's

    - A significant part of the electronics were not weighed, it cannot be excluded that the auxiliary electronics contained a battery or similar.

    Conclusions :

    1. The report is far from conclusive with important omissions, as with a previous Rossi-related publication by Levi et al. in 2013, which was criticised by Ericsson and Pomp for lack of rigour.

    2. Dr. Levi, and by extension the University of Bologna, may be faulted for a level of naïveté. They should know by now that Mr. Rossi will use their report to lure investors and/or customers. It cannot have escaped their attention that Mr. Rossi was sued for fraud in a US court over the very same technology a few years back. This in itself does not invalidate his claims, but it should have inspired extra caution and stricter conditions by Unibo.

    3. If Mr. Rossi cannot even at this stage trust Dr. Levi enough to let him do a truly independent test in Dr. Levi's own lab, then the chances that he will ever deliver anything to anyone may be reasonably assessed as being vanishingly small.

  • LOL.

So for 250 bucks, you refuse to prove your conviction. Hundreds of hours spent disproving Rossi by words and reproductions, but can't dig deep enough for a single ep order? You could even claim that you were scammed when you don't receive it. What do you have to lose?

I have a calorimeter and an open invitation to test some SKleds as delivered.

  • wasting your time on lumen calculations it is same as wondering how illusionist fit so many rabbits in a such a small box.

The presentation is another crap. Just take 'production' lamp, crack it open and show us that it is more than 5 dollar alibaba lamp with ecat sticker on it. Show us how all that AI bearing hardware was fitted in etc.

Max, I make technical calculation for work every day so it's not an effort, the above are based on basic physics, just to check the usual magician's fake and they are based on very simple math.

If still are people that continue to believe him I can only suggest them to wake their brain.

  • can is probably better at this, but a first guess of the sklep jumble of parts is :

A power supply, large, makes around 14V for the Hella-type HID control module which has the driver signal jumpered to another high frequency power supply that runs the HID lamp (replacing that part of the original Hella-type driver). The HID lamp is in part of the original metal housing. The wires in the white llid probably do nothing.

  • You are wrong. The testing was done at UNIBO's Pysics/Astrophysics lab

That's an interesting snippet Alan - could you elaborate on this? The table on the pictures in the report resemble the one that is visible in the video, which doesn't look like it was shot in a physics lab...
