We are pleased to inform you that the 25th International Conference on Condensed Matter Nuclear Science, ICCF-25, will be held in Szczecin, Poland, August 27 – 31, 2023. The progress in nuclear science, material science, nanotechnology and engineering, advances in condensed matter science, lattice confinement and many other developments give us the opportunity to discuss the details on low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR). The conference proceedings will be published in Journal of Condensed Matter Nuclear Science. We encourage all speakers to submit a contribution to the proceedings. Poster contributions that are presented in person will also be eligible for being included in the proceedings. In order to maintain the quality standard of Condensed Matter Nuclear Science, potential authors are reminded that only novel, original work should be submitted to the proceedings. All these papers will be peer reviewed.

Location

The venue of the meeting is located in the heart of Szczecin. The city is beautiful, abundant in green areas and offers perfect conditions for a scientific meeting in a relaxed atmosphere. Szczecin is the largest city of the West Pomerania region of Poland, situated on the Oder river and boasting over a thousand years of history. It is close to the bay of Pomerania, about 80 km away from the Baltic Sea, and located near to the German border, about 150 km away from Berlin.

Abstract submission
The conference programme will consist of a number of presentations of contributed papers, complemented by a permanent poster exhibition.
Authors willing to contribute to the Conference should submit their abstracts not later than April 1^st, 2023, as one-page file in pdf format via the conference page (https://iccf25.com/abstracts), using the available template. Abstract submission requires pre-registration. The Organizers will notify the Authors on oral and poster presentations selected by the Scientific Committee, not later than May 1^st, 2023.

Proceedings
The conference proceedings will be published in Journal of Condensed Matter Nuclear Science. We encourage all speakers to submit a contribution to the proceedings. Poster contributions that are presented in person will also be eligible for being included in the proceedings. Please note, that due to Russian’s military aggression against Ukraine, the ICCF-25 will not accept participants affiliated in the Russian Federation or Belarus, either on-site and online. We reject any use of force to resolve political issues. The people of Ukraine – and especially our research partners – can count on our solidarity.

In other news, we are opening negotiations with the ICCF-25 committee about special terms. Watch this space.

Also, depends on a lot of factors falling into place, but we may send one of our staff to Poland. If so, it won't be Ruby or Alan, and we will start a crowdfunding campaign to pay for airfare, hotel, and modest expenses.

Ouch! Bad idea. The Russian researchers have nothing to do with the government or the military.

Einstein published two important papers when he was in Berlin during WWI:

The Field Equations of Gravitation (1915)

"The Foundation of the General Theory of Relativity". Originally published in Annalen der Physik (1916).

Both were read worldwide. Eddington read the latter and began planning his 1918 eclipse expedition to confirm it.
