Well, that's a door slam in the face. We already knew ENG8 was using the "UL" name in a very liberal way, but UL decided to step in and brutally clarify this was not the case.
They've also scrubbed their 'about' page of all personnel information and ceased soliciting small ticket investments from retail investors.

As highlighted in the post below, the UL "observer" was from the Milan office (rather than the US or UK offices). Perhaps Stefano was attending more from a personal interest rather than in his official capacity.

Not all personnel are absent - it seems that George is now their "chief physicist". I don't know whether George is aware of that.

Yes - and then (by coincidence) it also appeared on the ENG8 website - prior to the current version. It should be on the wayback machine.
Edit: Can't find it now, but there don't seem to have been any website captures between the end of last December and this March. I remember seeing it after reading about the concept from Biaco in February.

What differentiates ENG8 from other “cold fusion” companies' technologies?
- ENG8 has a range of LENR reactors, known as “EnergiCells”; the technology is currently scaled from one watt to over 50 kilowatts. This flexibility surpasses many requirements and in fact, could potentially meet 50% of the planet’s-energy requirement.
- ENG8’s EnergiCells can directly produce electricity, heat and chemical energy in the form of HHO gas, which can substitute hydrocarbon fuels. In contrast, others LENR companies primarily produce heat.
- The “fuel” and catalysts are low cost, readily available off-the-self materials such as water and stainless steels resulting in relatively low capital costs.
- In terms of TRL level, ENG8 is at a similar level to Clean Planet, with a shorter route to market, particularly for commercial and industrial heat as a service.
Beta decays which should be the only way to produce electricity by LENR ways.
Don't forget "Strange Radiation". Past studies indicate this has a greater range (in air) than beta. There are still no definitive studies that show what materials, thicknesses, and configurations are needed to form an effective barrier.
