Kervran's books

  • Translation is understandable enough at least on a general skim read.

I certainly Hope to see LENR helping humans to blossom, and I'm here to help it happen.

  • The issue of the size of the files is more complex, we need Pete to see of he can increase file size for this thread, but is probably better if you upload them in your google drive account in a shared folder and post the link to it here.

  • I have another books to share ( 10 en total ) but apparently too big to be uploaded here.

Maybe the staff could help ?

Hi. Thank you for doing this - as you know we have a 'useful book' thread which is a good place to repost Items like this. As far as sizing goes, there is a web resource https://smallpdf.com/ which is really good for reducing the size of big manuscript pdf's - fist introduced to me by our member can (whos inputs we miss). Can used it to reduce the size of my copy of the Ken Shoulders EVO book from over 100Mb to less than 15 - and it remained readable.

    THE USEFUL BOOK THREAD

  • So tell me if the translation is understandable or not.

The text seems to be quite readable - but without seeing the original I don't know whether the chemical formuli have been corrupted. Has this been translated using OCR and AI?

  • i found a mean to translate french books wrote by Kervran around 60s.

So tell me if the translation is understandable or not.

I have a subscription to the DeepL translation site. Months ago, I tested various translation tools for Japanese to English and vice versa. DeepL worked best. I think I can submit a large document to it. Send me the original and I will try.

I have a shared folder with the pdfs Cydonia once sent to me. Perhaps you can use these files.

  • Yes me too, this is why and i don't know why i tried these Kervran's books.

it was good for this first one from 1963, 1962 too but too heavy to be shared it directly.

Yes, JedRothwell i can send you them if you share your email.

This 1978 report is quite jaw-dropping. Is it genuine?

AFAIK, It was obtained through a FOIA request, so the “authenticity” is out of the question, the veracity is another story, but the document is authentic.

Edit to add: BTW I had put this file in the same folder four years ago, because the authors of this report quote Kervran’s work several times.

  • B.... the word LENR wasn't never used in 70s..

The name of the file is of my creation, the title of the report is “Energy development from elemental transmutations in Biological Systems”.

  • Okay, I now have 6 of these Kervan documents. I started with the most problematic one, 1962.pdf. This is a printed book. It is a poor quality scan, in image format (not OCR), which someone marked up. That's a challenge! Here is what it looks like:

I ran it through Acrobat OCR and then DeepL. That did not work well. Here is a sample:

Subsequent pages are not too bad:

I tried Amazon AWS Textract OCR. Unfortunately, it did not recognize there are two pages so it ran the text together from one page to the next.

Converting to Microsoft Word helps a little.

If someone would like to try to patch up these files, I can send them to you. I am not willing to devote much time to this myself.

  • Well, very good work, Jed, thank you.

Now, as I've read all his books (nearly 1200 pages), the most relevant as far as the LENR field is concerned is probably this attached file... in French as well ||

  • Luckily, i summarized that in the past for an Englisgh friend.

    About Kervran's job:

    • He worked for the French Health ministry on deaths by carbon monoxide poisoning just after WW2 in EU.
    • We talked about welders and oxy-cutters work.
    • CO blood rate 4X normal rate.
    • All the external root causes have been examined as Carbon rate in steel, welding rod coating, stripper, carbides from acétylène etc..
    • Ambiant air CO rate was all the time examined and no CO traces were found never.
    • Now the CO poisonning rate was found very higher for oxy cutters because exalhed air temperature was more high, more powerfull blowtorch, more large steel path which was red hot.
    • Welding with mask use.. and the pb dissapear.

Kervran who had serious releationship with physicists from this time, postulated that a full deuterium atom was transfered from one atom to the other, directly correlated with our current understanding of nuclei clustered as E.Kaal wrote in books.

    So we have N2 → 2 14/7 N → 16/6 C + 16/8 O.

As conclusion an entire deuterium shifted .

The document Kervran_Intoxications_1961 is hopeless. The scan quality is so bad it cannot be OCR'ed.

Well it is definitely present in the DTIC public online archive. See below:
