New interview of Rossi by Mats Lewan:

In the settlement between Rossi and his US licensee IH, Rossi got the license back together with all E-Cat equipment and materials, while none of the parties will have to pay damages to the other. Getting the license back was his top priority all the time, Rossi explains in this interview.

    Regarding successful replications by IH:

    Andrea Rossi wrote:

During the discovery phase, emails from Darden were provided and made public, where Darden himself confirmed to have replicated our process successfully. We also have testimonials from persons who have assisted at such replications. Woodford [Investment Management] assisted at one of those replications, after which it invested USD 50M in Industrial Heat, even before the [one-year 1MW] test started in Doral [Miami], at a time when IH obviously had nothing but our IP in its portfolio.

    Regarding the "empty reactor" test:

    Andrea Rossi wrote:

Darden has said lots of things that he has never been able to prove. What he assures doesn’t exist. I always made experiments with reactors charged by me, or by me in collaboration with Darden. Never with reactors provided to me as a closed box, for obvious reasons.

Mats seems to be positive about the latest developments and is thinking about his New Energy World Syposium which was cancelled last year:

    Mats Lewan wrote:

Noting this I have also started investigating the timing for relaunching the energy conference I proposed in 2016—the New Energy World Symposium, addressing the consequences of LENR based technologies for industry, society, and finance.

Yes, it looks like a typical advert from such said "dubious" advert networks.

In my view Frank has it totally exaggerated by placing adverts on each free space of his site. I'm visiting it only with an adblocker.

At least he could stick with serious advert networks like google adsense. But that's another topic.

    Hacking a forum[...]

As I understood, there was no hack or attack.

ECW was/is (?) simply using a dubious advertisement network which displayed sometimes a picture or animation of a "microsoft windows style" system-dialog, warning the user that his computer was infected by a computer virus/malware (and of course how to fix that by buying the super duper anti-virus...).

Nothing else. It was this post here: The Playground

    Paradigm shift in DNA research:

    Quote

DNA Replication Has Been Filmed For The First Time, And It's Not What We Expected

"It undermines a great deal of what's in the textbooks."

    [...]

The real-time footage has revealed that this fundamental part of life incorporates an unexpected amount of 'randomness', and it could force a major rethink into how genetic replication occurs without mutations.

"It's a real paradigm shift, and undermines a great deal of what's in the textbooks," says one of the team, Stephen Kowalczykowski from the University of California, Davis.

    What's next? :)

That should be treated with caution!

At the moment there are so many ICOs (initial coin offerings) collecting large amounts of money in form of crypto currencies, and only very few of them will have a real world applications and benefit.

At least their website looks like scam.

There is another technology called IOTA (for internet of things) which is not using the heavy and slow blockchain technology, but directed acyclic graphs (called "tangle") for building the decentralized platform for micro-transactions necessary in the IoT world. It can be used for various IoT applications, also smart energy systems.

Eventuell in anderen Ländern.
