My understanding was that F stood for "fr*ud" in MY's context.

I believe the "secret catalyst" that Rossi brought up a long time ago turned out to be Lithium or LAH.
-
If only one person at IH knows Rossi's recipe, how can we know that they are skilled enough to bake the cake?
-
Dewey: can you tell what kind of profile the single person that knows Rossi's IP details is? Is it a top guy (e.g. Darden, JT) or a scientist?
-
@me356 : Please consider Bob Greenyer's offer to visit your lab. There has to be a way to demonstrate to him the existence of LENR without revealing all your secrets at this point.
-
You have no personal grudge but post this stuff on 3 different me356 threads?
-
It sure is the best comment of the week, when it makes up stuff like IH sueing Rossi...
-
Frank: IH made the reactor, IIRC.
-
Maybe the 1MW test happened on the dark side of the moon? Hence the "stellar" comment.
-
This means that this ecat can run completely self sustaining, using the released electrical energy after startup.
The simplest demo Rossi could do ever.
/
Barty: This answer below from Rossi seems related to having a self sustained e-cat. Maybe it needs to be clarified?Question:
QuoteI think John Atkinson had an interesting question. Where I live, power goes down very frequently, sometimes for days.
1) If you’re running a quark, and the power goes down, will it just turn off safely?
2) If power is out for a few days, can you run a quark on back up generator?
3) can you run it on a backup battery system safely?
4) If yes to 3, can you use the same Quark to charge the battery it is running on?
5) If no to 4, can you run a quark on battery, use it to charge a second battery, and switch batteries when needed?
Rossi:
QuoteObviously with John Atkinson I was joking.Surely a back up generator resolves the problem. The answer is yes to the questions 1 2 3 4.

One of his competitors supposedly demonstrates 1MW with a high COP, but during 1 nano second.
Rossi's notation does differentiate his results from the results above, in addition to the average part. I'm not too bothered by it.

By the way, why does Rossi use Wh/h as the unit for power? A watt-hour is one watt for one hour. So watt-hours per hour is just watts.
IIRC, because W is instant power, Wh/h, average power over time.

Wait, so WF invested into IH under the assumption that Rossi was a dud? Knowing that IH's $10 million investment was a likely loss, and that the divorce would cost millions more?
Your other LENR investments must be gems then, to make it a worthwhile investment for WF!

Holy Moly, Mary Yugo is here!
-
Hermano: I asked Dewey about the luxenergy domains and he said that IH was planning a rebranding (?) to Lux Energy but then Rossi latched on the idea and came up with the Quark so they (IH) gave up on it.
-
hmm Is this thread gonna become yet another Rossi thread?
-
Just try to limit the number of threads. There are 3 or 4 Rossi-IH threads that are pretty much the same discussions. One thread on the latest Rossi tech and one thread on the meta Rossi-IH stuff should be enough, most of the time.
Just merge the new IH threads into a main thread, when they come up.
-
Rossi's "can't run the quark on its own energy for safety reasons" claim isn't anything new. He's been giving that same answer for a long time now. At least he's consistent.
-
LC - yep, In a masterstroke of consistency, Rossi made the Lux Energy approach immediately and completely worthless. Do quark particles have rights on Planet Rossi? I hear they are considering a defamation action.
You gotta admit Rossi is a mastermind genius if he took your marketing/branding idea and turned it into a "product".
-
Dewey - Maybe we should call it... wait for it... Lux Energy?
After all, IH came up with the concept, Rossi just latched upon it and we now see the first photo of the result!
