From the reflections I would say that the camera is a tablet/laptop, the screen of which stays on and is illuminating towards the setup. It also looks like there is a white screen close behind the setup?

I thought it was interesting that night time etc didn't change the ambient light levels much (in the old stream it did).
Now I see the Fire tablet clock display has been swapped for an analogue watch....the changing light levels due to the different Fire digits displayed was very noticable against the back of the lamp (indicating very low illumination levels)...could that be the reason??

No IP here. This was a basic “not paying for services rendered” type of case. Sort of basic. Rossi’s lawyer got tangled up in the case when Rossi tried to offload the cost responsibility to him. He got stiffed for his participation.

It really doesn't matter if the live feed resets every couple of weeks. Even Frank has given up mentioning those incidents (without comment of any suspicion of course).
[Edit] this 'development' might enable the NSR Ecat (No-Stream Reset) version I guess. Always good to change (but not improve) the demo rather than deliver a working product.
I am quite amazed that a discussion about a promising press release has turned into video analysis. I am not saying it has no relevance but it does look like missing the forest for the trees.
The press release is about a couple of people effectively working as commercialisation consultants?? I would be more excited if it was an announcement of credible commercial (manufacturing) partners. Seems more like geared towards supporting a fundraising for the investment for the equipment to consider manufacturing themselves but without much (public) evidence that it is ready for such a step.
Oh well, keep fingers crossed for more relevant good news to come out.

It is interesting that the first filing appears to have been Japan (note that I assume he also filed in the US and an EP but that they haven't showed up on Espacenet yet). I don't know why anyone (not located in Japan) would file there first. Rossi is a resident of the US or Italy and the "invention and R&D" presumably also occurred in one of those countries.
AFAIK the US requires inventions conceived in the US to be filed first in the US. Italy requires residents to file first in Italy.
If the patent application was real, there are already a few ways the validity of any eventual patent could be attacked.
This is an application, not a patent. You can apply for a patent for whatever you want.
...and you also don't have to have the application drafted by a professional patent attorney. You can probably utilise someone just passing your facility and paying them cash in hand.
