A follow up about the experiments by Zhang hang, in clinese, on LENR.com.cn

    闀嶉挴鍚堥噾绮夊

It seems to be a progress report

In the article I notices key point:

    • The calorimeter structure of qiuran laboratory is basically the same as that of Dr. stroms.
    • The alloy is prepared with nickel powder and palladium powder. After mixing the nickel powder and palladium powder, it is put into a ball mill for mechanical alloying. The dispersant uses water, the weight ratio of nickel powder to palladium powder is 200:5, and the ball milling time is 60 hours. After ball milling, the alloy powder is taken out, dried and loaded into a container. Place the container in the calorimeter.
    • below 166 ° C, the excess heat power is not obvious
    • the excess heat power of hydrogen and deuterium is basically the same
    • multiple oxidation can increase excess heat power
    • the experiment lasted for one month, 200 grams of material, and the total excess heat was about 1.2MJ(NB: unlike translation, the Chinese quote says Mega-Joule MJ ? not milli-Joule)

It it inspiring for experimenters ?

    Interesting

Natural immunity comes from being exposed to a microbe that causes a disease. Vaccination-mediated immunity comes from being exposed to a vaccine that is similar to but not the same as the microbe. If we understand a bit more about our immune system and its memory, it will help us navigate the information and misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines, the COVID variants, and the length of our immunologic memory.

My personal vision is that it is good, but no reason to make a war at home for young people... there are more important questions, like social life, education, depression, meeting people...

Anyway vaccines just better than the virus, that we will all catch , probably even the immunized, the formerly infected...

For me I admit it is not even a question, the virus was more deadly than my former practice of skydiving, urban bike and big wall climbing. I stopped all when dad, so same for the Virus.

My daughter is immunized, to avoid long covid and anxiety... Her most important need is living parents, good education and social life.

    Best wishes to all.

Now, researchers from the Korean Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology (KICT) have created what they call a coaxial electrospun nanofiber membrane, which lasts longer before becoming too wet to work. By the way, as I understand various experiments, uniform layer is not the goal, and metallurgical defects seems necessary ? anyway, is the oxydation/baking(?) in Mizuno procedure, not there to make the layer complex as it seems needed ? not far from Storms/Takahashi/Zhang recent experiments ?

I've heard Didier Gras accident report, and it seems clear that complex metallurgical state is good... they used cathodic sputtering first, then classical nickel sulfamate electrolysis

As you master electrolysis this may inspire you...

Maybe of interest for thin films of palladium ?

Atomically precise complex oxides containing “stubborn” elements, such as ruthenium, iridium, and platinum, hold tremendous promise as designer quantum materials for exploring novel electronic, magnetic, superconducting, and topological phases owing to their strong spin–orbit interaction. This study shows a method to synthesize such materials by eliminating the major synthesis bottleneck of low vapor pressure and difficulty in oxidation. This study serves as a “proof-of-concept” allowing us to 1) grow Pt, RuO2, and SrRuO3 thin films by supplying Pt and Ru precursors at 65 to 100 °C in a low-temperature effusion cell, as opposed to the several thousand degrees Celsius needed using electron beam evaporators; 2) reveal bulk-like room-temperature resistivity; and 3) ultimately provide pathways to creating atomically precise quantum structures.

Abnormal heat release by oxydated metal in hydrogen / deuterium atmosphere - Zhang Hang, Chen Si

Professor Takahashi of Japan and Dr. Storms of the United States respectively published articles. They found that the excess heat in deuterium or hydrogen will increase after oxidation of the metal. For this reason, they conducted experiments and found that the excess heat in the hydrogen and deuterium atmosphere after oxidation of the metal The significant increase in heat verified the phenomenon observed by Professor Takahashi and Dr. Storms. This method can be replicated repeatedly.

Why COVID-19 Vaccines Offer Better Protection Than Infection

How Can We Vaccinate a Majority of Americans for COVID-19 Quickly?

WASHINGTON, February 19, 2021— Today Surgo Ventures encourages those working to increase COVID-19 vaccine uptake in their communities to take a page from the behavioral science and marketing playbook: Prioritize those Americans who are Persuadable (43% of the U.S. population) by dividing them into psychobehavioral segments and focusing on the specific barriers those three segments—The ‘Watchful,’ (20%), The ‘Cost-Anxious,’ (14%), and The ‘System Distrusters’ (9%)—perceive to getting vaccinated.

    https://static1.squarespace.co…en+Pop+Survey+%281%29.pdf

The five psychobehavioral segments of Americans Surgo identified from its survey are:

    1. The “Enthusiasts” (40% of the U.S. population). Every person in this group said they would get the vaccine as soon as it is made available to them. There are no barriers to vaccination for people in this group—in fact, the key challenge will be ensuring vaccine supply meets their demand before they lose enthusiasm, as we’re seeing now as people struggle to sign up.
    2. The “Watchful” (20% of the U.S. population). For this segment, social norms are important: Before they get the shot themselves, people in this segment first need to see that others in their peer group or community are getting vaccinated and having safe, positive experiences.
    3. The “Cost-Anxious” (14% of the U.S. population). For this segment, time and costs are the primary barriers to getting the vaccine. Every member of this group reports having delayed seeking care for their health in the past due to the expense. The irony: Only 28% of people in this group lack health insurance, indicating that their concerns about costs override having insurance to cover them.
    4. The “System Distrusters” (9% of the U.S. population). This group primarily believes that people of their own race are not treated fairly by the health system. Members of this group are likely to belong to, but are not exclusively, communities of color. There are multiple, complicated barriers for this segment, but most of them are related to trust in and access to a health system that has an inequitable history.
    5. The “Conspiracy Believers” (17% of the population). This segment has perceived barriers around COVID-19 vaccination that Surgo believes are simply too hard to shift in the short term. It includes people who don't believe in vaccines in general, but the primary barrier for people in this group is their very specific and deeply-held beliefs around COVID-19. Every person in this group believes in at least one conspiracy theory:
      • 84% believe that COVID-19 is exploited by government to control people
      • 65% believe COVID-19 was caused by a ring of people who secretly manipulate world events
      • ○ 36% believe microchips are implanted with the COVID-19 vaccine

My wife have convinced many watchful in her network, and helped some cost-anxious to organize themselves (like pooling a Uber trip for students).

I know a conspiracy believer, but in France beside the usual theories, the deep opposition seems anti-capitalisme and anti-americanism, which is very strong in strong left movement... The extreme right supporters are mor like system distrusters, that can be convinced just with care, respect and hearing.

One point in France is that we have been brainwashed for decades with the typical "Conspiracy Beliefs" that in fact are totally natural in France, on other subjects, propagated by State TV, by stars, politicians, even professors and textbooks, and even causing censorships of films.

Maybe France is a special case as we have fed the golem for long, and the story around vaccines is just an unpredicted application of our "education".

Imagine if GOOP was every week on state TV.

    Coronavirus-induced myocarditis: A meta-summary of cases

    Results

A total of 31 studies on 51 patients were included; 12 cases were confirmed myocarditis while 39 had possible myocarditis. The median age was 55 and 69% were male. The most common presenting symptoms were fever, shortness of breath, cough and chest pain. Electrocardiogram changes included non-specific ST-segment and T-wave changes and ventricular tachycardia. Most patients had elevated cardiac and inflammatory biomarkers. Left ventricular dysfunction and hypokinesis was common. CMR established the diagnosis in 10 patients, with features of cardiac oedema and cardiac injury. Five patients had histopathological examination. Some cases required mechanical ventilation and extracoporeal membrane oxygenation, and 30% of patients recovered but 27% died.

    Conclusions

COVID-19 myocarditis was associated with ECG, cardiac biomarker and echocardiographic changes, and the manifestation could be severe leading to mortality. Endomyocardial biopsy was not available in most cases but CMR was valuable.

Myocarditis and COVID-19: A Tale of Two Articles

Whether myocarditis is serious or not depends on the symptoms it produces and the damages it does, not on its underlying cause. Those who write about COVID-19 and vaccines should try to be consistent and thorough.

People who receive mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are up to 91 percent less likely to develop the disease than those who are unvaccinated, according to a new nationwide study of eight sites, including Salt Lake City. For those few vaccinated people who do still get an infection, or "breakthrough" cases, the study suggests that vaccines reduce the severity of COVID-19 symptoms and shorten its duration.
